Emma Watson Wish List for the ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ Premieres

I will say that I had a bit of a hard time trying to decide what to put on Emma Watson for the LA premiere of her new film ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower.’ There were like two dresses that I just couldn’t decide between and after lots of thought as well as some opinions from some absolutely fabulous friends I decided upon this amazing peachy coral Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture ballerina inspired dress. I think that this is dress always did scream Emma to me and I just needed the extra push to actually make this the dress that I put on the post. I think that this is an amazing addition to this promo tour which does include the amazing Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 dress that I wish that she will wear for the Toronto Film Festival. Add a gold metallic clutch and a pair of gold sandals to complete this amazingly stunning ensemble.

Now when it came to what I want Emma to wear for the London premiere of the film. I would of course pick a Burberry Prorsum dress for the British actress and former face of the brand. I think that this antique print sheath dress with an inch strap from the brands Resort 2013 collection would be the perfect pick for this premiere. I think that to complete this look I would a purple glitter Anya Hindmarch clutch as well as some nude pumps to finish it off.

2012 Venice Film Festival: Zoe Saldana for the Gucci Women in Film Award Ceremony

Last year Gucci held the inaugural Gucci Women in Film Awards during the Venice Film Festival. Zoe Saldana is one of the members of this years jury who will decide which woman will take home this years award. She will of course have to wear a Gucci design for the event and I have picked a few for her. Now this event last year had people wearing extravagant Oscar worthy Gucci gowns and I believe that Zoe will go for an amazing showstopping ensemble. The first thing I would absolutely love to see is Zoe wear this black and gold Spring 2012 RTW one shouldered flapper inspired dress turned into a gown by lengthening the fringe and adding the ever popular black and gold Gucci chain sandals and a black clutch to complete this look which is my favorite. The second look is a peach floral print gown which is a much more laid back look but I think that the coloring would be amazing for Zoe. The last look that I have picked is a black sheer long sleeved Fall 2012 RTW gown with black and dark emerald green embellishments.

Olivia Wilde Wish List for the ‘The Words’ LA Premiere

Olivia Wilde is going to have to work in red carpet double time as to the amount of effort that she puts into her red carpet ensembles if she is even going to stand a chance next to Zoe Saldana at the LA premiere of ‘The Words.’ I do not think she is going to have what it takes anymore to do so and I am sure that you can tell this just by the choice in dress I have made for her. I think that this blue Yigal Azroul Resort 2013 dress with sleeve slits and an abstract pattern is really pretty but I just feel that on Olivia this would almost fall flat and not sure if it is the 100% right choice for this premiere but I think that it is what she would most likely pick. Factor in a nude clutch and some black sandals and that is all the credit that I think I can give to her to make the effort towards on the red carpet.

Zoe Saldana Wish List for the ‘The Words’ LA Premiere

Zoe Saldana is one of my aboulte favorites on the red carpet because she often times wears ensembles that most would not dare to go near for her appearances. This amazing black sequined dress Asian inspired dress with light gold baroque details is perfect for the Dominican beauty to wear on the red carpet for the premiere of her new film ‘The Words.’ This is a classic silhouette that will only showcase all that the star has to bring in the curve department, and she has some curves. Complete this look with a tight bun, red lip, and some black strappy cage booties, just to add an edge to the ensemble and the look is ready to walk the red carpet at the LA Premiere

Milla Jovovich Wish List for the ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ Premieres

I may not care much about any of the ‘Resident Evil’ films but I do love the films star Milla Jovovich on the red carpet so I can not wait for the premieres of this film. The latest installment of the film series will most likely start with a premiere in LA. For this premiere I would love to see Milla wear this grey and bronze beaded Elie Saab Fall 2012 RTW gown. I think that this gown would look amazing on Milla who would give it a dark and mysterious air about this look with her 20s’s style bob and dome red lips as well as a pair of gunmetal sandals and clutch.

In London I would love to see Milla wear this Armani Prive Spring 2012 Couture gown with florescant lime green accents and side cutouts that was presented back in May when Armani showed all his collections in Beijing. I think this gown while yet simple and classic in the black color palette is still quite bold with the lime green crystals and would totally accentuate Milla’s dark and mysterious approach to dressing for the red carpet. Add a pair of black Prada sandals and a black Edie Parker confetti clutch and this look is set for the red carpet.

I think that this is one of those films that will have several international premieres as it is a cult classic. The final of the big 3 premieres would be in New York City where I would love to see Milla wear this Donna Karan Fall 2012 RTW red origami gown. This is the pop of color that Milla goes for every so often on the red carpet, like at this years Life Ball in Austria where she shocked wearing a vibrant lime green Atelier Versace gown. The red would look amazing on Milla’s tan skin with her dark hair in its 20s finger wave type style, simple dark rimmed eyes, and a bold red lip accessorized with a gold Edie Parker clutch and then a pair of metallic gold strappy sandals and maybe a bejeweled hair band.

2012 MTV Video Music Awards: Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez is starting to grow out of her fluffy gown phase and embrace sassy and grown up sexy looks on the red carpet. It has been a while since we have seen Selena in anything longer than her knees, so for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards I would love to see her wear this amazing red silk one sleeved Jenny Packham gown with gold Chinese reminiscent embroidery. I think that this gown is something that is totally in Selena’s aesthetic as of late and I think that this pretty while still being edgy. I think that with a gold clutch and some gold strappy sandals that this look is VMA ready.

2012 MTV Video Music Awards: Rihanna

Rihanna used to be a HUGE fan of Alexandre Vauthier on the red carpet back in 2009 and 2010 and I am hoping that the star regains her love for the brand for this years MTV Video Music Awards. I think that this white tuxedo jumpsuit with tailored billowy pants, a bold gold chain belt, and a strong shoulder would look amazing on RiRi. I love to see Rihanna in white as it is such a fresh clean look on her and she works it so well and I think that this look has an amazing edge. Pair this with a pair of gold spike embellished Christian Louboutin booties and maybe a punky short black cut for her next hairstyle and this would be ready for the red carpet.

2012 MTV Music Video Awards: M.I.A.

What will M.I.A. wear for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards? Who the hell knows because the rapper/singer has such a random sense of style that you can almost never predict what she will wear for the red carpet. Well I am going to go with this green printed Atelier Versace Fall 2012 Couture gown because the star was seated front row at the designers Paris couture show back last month. I think that of anything in the collection this structured bustier gown with a flowing chiffon skirt is most M.I.A.’s style.I could see her pairing this with some of the metallic nude gold cut out boots that were paired with the Atelier Versace Fall 2010 Couture collection and maybe a custom matching bolero jacket to keep it in her style.

2012 MTV Video Music Awards: Katy Perry

There are only a few words that can describe Katy Perry; talented, sexy, and quirky are the ones that come to mind right away for me. I think that this yellow and fuchsia Mary Katrantzou Fall 2012 patterned dress. I love that Mary creates all these prints and patterns all on her own using unexpected items. I can not tell from the far away image what it is that created the patterns in this look but I am sure they are not what you would expect. Katy can pull off some of the edgiest looks that walk the runway and I think that this is one of them. Pair this with just a pair of hot pink strappy sandals and her quirky purple sleek bob and this look is something perfect for Katy for the VMA’s.

2012 MTV Video Music Awards: Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato closed 2011 and opened 2012 on such high notes on the red carpet and I have found myself wondering as of late what has happened to her because she has been stepping out in looks that make her look like a stuffed sausage from the 80’s. I would like to see her regain some of that glamour that she had before but still keep her edge. First thing shee needs to do is ditch the body shimmer as it is not something that helps her and then she needs to go back to her natural brown hair color. For the red carpet I would love to see Demi wear this velvet red chiffon gown with gold beading. I think that this gown is elegant but can be dressed up to have an edge. Start with a Christian Louboutin spike embellished clutch and then add some spike infused strappy sandals, oh and gold should be the color for both! NO BLACK!
