‘Pitch Perfect’ LA Premiere Wish List

 Anna Kendrick kind of really let me down, well not kind of she just flat out really let me down, during the premiere of ‘End of Watch’ at the Toronto Film Festival. I am hoping that tomorrow night at the ‘Pitch Perfect’ LA premiere that she wow’s me because she hasn’t done that in quite a while. I think this flower embellished Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 dress would make me fall in love with Anna on the red carpet all over again. Pair this with a pair of bronze Brian Atwood peep toe pumps and a matching small clutch hair pulled back and up to showcase the dress and she is ready for the red carpet.
 Brittany Snow isn’t high fashion on the red carpet but brings us some really elegant looks from some other brands. I would love to see her wear this orange Farah Angsana Spring 2013 RTW cocktail dress. Brittany has a very flirty sense of style and always look cute. Pair this dress with an aqua clutch and some gold strappy sandals and she is ready for this premiere.
All others at this premiere will most likely be cast into the shadows the moment that red carpet diva Elizabeth Banks steps onto the red carpet at this premiere. The star who is a huge Versace girl will most likely wear a dress from the recent Atelier Versace Fall 2012 Couture collection which Lizzy sat front row at. I would love to see her wear this yellow embellished sparkling Atelier Versace Fall 2012 Couture dress. I think that Lizzy would rock the hell out of this sexy mini without it looking vulgar. pair this with a pair of nude sandals and maybe a sparking nude clutch to complete what will no doubt be a stunning red carpet ensemble and yet another best dressed list look for Lizzy.

2012 London FIlm Festival: ‘Ginger and Rosa’ Competition Premiere

Elle Fanning is one of the rising stars on the red carpet who already has the keys to the Valentino Couture closet and has been the star of both Marc by Marc Jacobs and Rodarte’s AD campaign. Well I would love to see her wear this green strapless cocktail dress from the Rodarte Spring 2013 RTW collection. I am kinda in love with all the potential in this dress had to look amazing on the red carpet. Some of you are probably wondering why I said strapless green dress when you seen blue and grey long sleeves on the runway and that is because they paired the dress with the contrasting shirt underneath. I would obviously tell her to wear just the strapless dress. Pair this with a cute gold Edie Parker clutch and a pair of the Miu Miu gold glitter mary jane pumps to complete the youthful red carpet look.
While being incredibly boring Christina Hendricks looked amazingly elegant at the ‘Ginger and Rosa’ premiere during the Toronto Film Festival and then looked a crazy mess at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards last weekend. Well for the London Film Festival, I am excited to see what the ‘Mad Men’ star has in store for us because she is actually putting forth a great effort into looking amazing. I would love to see her wear this Christian Siriano Spring 2013 RTW kimono style dress in a deep cerulean blue. It is not often that I change up what the dress on the runway looks like in comparison to what I wish for but knowing that Christian and Christina have a past relationship of changing up runway gowns together then I stand firm because the white would just was her out. Pair the look with a small Jimmy Choo tube clutch in pewter silver and a pair of silver peep toe pumps to match and there is a recipe for a look that I am bound to fall in love with.

2012 Emmy Awards Presenters Wish List

 ‘Revenge’ star Emily VanCamp will make her major awards show red carpet debut at the 2012 Emmy Awards on Sunday night where she is set to be one of the presenters. While Emily has a beautiful look and could pull off some amazing avant garde and couture worthy looks she is still new to the scene and I think that baby steps are needed to launch her upon society. I have chosen this aqua blue one shouldered Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 RTW gown that is hot of the runway at New York Fashion Week. I think that with Emily’s skin tone and blonde hair that she would look amazing in this color of a gown and that it would stand out in what is no doubt going to be a sea of black gowns on Sunday. Pair this with a matching Edie Parker clutch and silver Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals as well as some amazing earrings and a statement bracelet and she will make her first best dressed list.
 Lucy Liu is also going to be one of the presenters at this years Emmy Awards, the actress who will be staring in the new CBS show ‘Elementary’ which starts on September 27th. The star will most likely wow us when she steps out on the red carpet as she usually does. I would love to see her wear this magenta Atelier Versace Fall 2012 Couture one shouldered gown. I think that this would be an amazing option for her as the color would look amazing on her and it is avant garde. Pair this with a small silver Leiber clutch and some silver strappy sandals and some simple bling and she is set to shock and awe as she overtakes the red carpet from the nominees.
Last year Martha Plimpton unexpectedly wowed me wearing a burgundy beaded Zac Posen gown and I am hoping she keeps her track record clean. I would love to see her wear this amazing Reem Acra Resort 2013 gown but instead of the stone color I would love to see her wear it in an elegant black. I would love to see this because I think it would be extremely elegant. Pair it with a emerald green stone clutch, black pumps, and some emerald and diamond jewelry to complete this look.

2012 Emmy Awards: Ginnifer, Kerry, and Nina

 Ginnifer Goodwin is the first female presenter announced for the 2012 Emmy Awards. I always look forward to seeing the the ‘Once Upon A Time’ actress brings to the red carpet as she has a very avant garde style. Her style is why I have decided to dare to put her in this Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 RTW gown with metallic stripes and a fringe style skirt insipid by the Roaring 20’s. I love this gown and think that it would look absolutely amazing on Ginnifer. I feel that this gown will be quite controversial when it comes to critics. Pair this with a gold Edie Parker clutch and some black peep toe pumps and she will shine like the statue that she will be handing out.
 Kerry Washington will no doubt be in attendance at the 2012 Emmy Awards as she was one of the two people that gave the announcements of the nomonations and those that do that usually attend the event if not present. While she has not been announced as a presenter as of yet I am still looking forward to seeing what she ends up wearing. I would love to see her wear this fully embellished lime green Armani Prive Spring 2012 Couture gown. While Kerry has never worn the brand before aside when she attended the designers couture presentation. I think that the color would look amazing on her skin tone and pair it with just a simple pair of gold strappy sandals and Kerry’s winning diva attitude and she would make this possibly overwhelming gown work for her.
Last but not least for this post we have Nina Dobrev. The ‘Vampire Diaries’ star has attended the Emmy Awards for the past two years, and her red Donna Karan gown from 2011 won her a spot on both mine and the readers choice best dressed list of the year last year. I am hoping that she wow’s me again like she did last year and many times this year. I think that her new love of Elie Saab designs is an amazing bond and that this teal Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture gown would be perfect for the star. I think that this would complement her skin and her hair color. Pair it with a gold Edie Parker clutch and a pair of gold strappy sandals, yellow Chopard chandelier earrings and matching bracelet.
