2013 Rome Film Festival: ‘Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon 3D’ Premiere Wish List

If you are a normal reader of this site you will know that I am OBSESSED with asians on the red carpet. One whom caught my eye just last year wearing Elie Saab, Georges Chakra, Chanel, and Balenciaga. I am hoping that when Angelababy takes to the red carpet during the 2013 Rome Film Festival premiere of ‘Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon’ that she will bring the drama like so many Asian starts do when they take to the red carpet. Having already donned Valentino, Christian Dior, Elie Saab Ready-To-Wear whilst promoting this film but I am hoping for high drama during Rome. This deep red Georges Hobeika Fall 2013 Couture major mermaid gown was one of my favorite things to see walk the runway at the show in Paris back in July. I think that this gown is something that I only have a chance of seeing on an Asian red carpets as it is something that is extremely avant garde. Finish the look with Veronica Lake waves over one shoulder and a pair of gold platform sandals and Angelababy will rock the red carpet.

2013 Rome Film Festival: ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ Premiere Wish List

Camila Alves is not in ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ but I am pretty sure that we will see her take to the red carpet alongside her beau Matthew McConaughey. Much like Jessica Biel is for Justin Timberlake, Camila is always glam on the red carpet to play the roll of arm candy for Matthew. For the Rome Film Festival Premiere of ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ Camila should snatch up this amazing royal blue Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 Couture gown with long lace sleeves. This gown is like the definition of Camila, sophisticated with a lot of sex appeal. The lace and sheer inserts in this gown take it to the perfect level. Complete this amazing red carpet ensemble with a pair of gunmetal silver sandals and some simple diamond jewels for an amazing film festival premiere.
After an amazing run supporting her husband, Ben Affleck, during awards season this year wearing the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Oscar de la Renta, Roland Mouret, and Gucci Premiere, I was incredibly disappointed when Jennifer Garner stepped out in a really ugly champagne satin and red lace Dolce & Gabbana dress that just did absolutely nothing for her. I am hoping that she is able to bring herself back to top form for the Rome Film Festival premiere of her latest film ‘Dallas Buyers Club.’ I think that if she were to don this silvery lace Valentino Spring 2013 Couture high neck ball gown would be the perfect look for Jen to wear on this red carpet. It would be a regal moment on a major red carpet that Jen hasn’t had in quite a long time. Finish the look with a pair of silver Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe satin pumps and simple vintage diamonds and Jennifer will shock me when she steps out of her car in Rome for this premiere.

2013 Rome Film Festival: ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Premiere Wish List

When I read that ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ was going to be premiering during the 2013 Rome Film Festival I could not hep but do a little squeal because I am so excited to see what the two leading ladies of the film will be wearing. As Jennifer Lawrence is a current face of Christian Dior I am sure that she will choose a gown from the house for her red carpet appearance. As I was watching the Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture collection walk the runway and this amazing green mermaid gown took to the runway, JLaw immediately took to my mind and I wished right then and there that there would be a major film festival premiere for one of her films and my wish came true. I love when Jennifer wears color because she has a skin tone that can pull off so many different hues that she should wear more color. This dress is just a simple silhouette and all the drama is in the color. Complete the look with a black clutch, a pair of black sandals, a pair of knockout emerald and diamond earrings and Jennifer will wow me on the red carpet.
Elizabeth Banks is the other woman that I am most looking forward to seeing take to this red carpet. I had a hard time choosing between an Elie Saab, Atelier Versace, or Armani Prive. I am sure that we will see Elizabeth wear a Versace look or two during this promo tour and as you all know I love me some Elie Saab, but I ultimately decided to go with an amazing nude Armani Prive Fall 2013 Couture strapless gown. The last time we have seen Elizabeth wear an Armani Prive design was back at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival in a stunning red one shouldered gown at the ‘Up’ premiere. I loved the pairing then and I think the paring at the Rome Film Festival would be absolutely perfect. Complete the look with a champagne satin Prada box clutch, a pair of light gold strappy sandals, as well as some amazing yellow diamond Chopard diamonds and Lizzy will have herself an amazing old Hollywood moment on the red carpet in Roma.

2013 AFI Fest: ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ Closing Gala Premiere

Aside from a brief step out in yellow at the 2013 London Film Festival premiere of ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ we have only seen Carey Mulligan in black or white for the most of this year. For the 2013 AFI Fest premiere of ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ I would love to see Caret wear this amazing navy Michael Kors Spring 2014 RTW cocktail dress with gold embellishments. I think that this is a dress that is not outside of Carey’s red carpet realm of opportunity. I think that the 30’s style of this dress goes well with Carey’s sense of style. Finish the look with a pair of black Saint Laurent pumps and a sleek hairstyle and Carey will have the perfect look for this premiere.
As I have said many a time before, Jessica Biel is the perfect wife and famous plus one. She always brings out all the stops when she is out on the red carpet to stand by her man, Justin Timberlake. For the 2013 AFI Fest premiere of ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ I think that this white long sleeved Chloe Spring 2014 RTW dress with studs and long sleeves (minus the flowy underskirt) would be the perfect option for Jessica to wear to support her man. Finish the look with a pair of gold pumps, a gold clutch, and her hair pulled back would make for an amazing plus one ensemble.

2013 AFI Fest: ‘Out of the Furnace’ Centerpiece Gala Premiere Wish List

Zoe Saldana, as many of my loyal followers know, is one of my favorite ladies to see take to the red carpet. With the AFI (American Film Institute) Fest coming up and Zoe’s film ‘Out of the Furnace’ as one of the Centerpiece Gala premieres I am really excited to see what Zoe is going to bring to the table. Having helped launch Prabal Gurung’s brand on the red carpet back in 2009 during the ‘Star Trek’ promotional tour wearing a stunning one shouldered red cocktail dress, Zoe and Prabal have developed quite the red carpet collaboration together and I can almost always say that I love what the two do together. For the 2013 AFI Fest premiere of ‘Out of the Furnace’ I would love to see Zoe wear this lime green Prabal Gurung Spring 2014 RTW tea-length halter dress with a rosette embellished bodice. I think that this would look stunning on Zoe, who always goes above and beyond with her red carpet style. Finish the look with a pair of gold Casadei pumps and Zoe has the perfect look for her red carpet premiere.
