The 2016 Council of Fashion Designer of America (CFDA) Awards will honor the best in American fashion next Monday (June 6.) Of course the most important woman in the entire fashion industry will be on hand at the CFDA Awards, as always. It is rare to get Anna Wintour to stop for pictures at this awards show, and she usually shuns the black tie dress code. Anna usually shows up in a knee length dress (which she almost always re-wears) from one of her go-to CFDA member friends new resort collections. I kept that in mind when I was scouring for the collections for a look for Anna to wear. I ended up choosing this blue and green Oscar de la Renta Resort 2017 sleeveless, a-line, brocade cocktail dress. I think that this dress is exactly what Anna would wear, and is quite likely to wear for the CFDA Awards. A pair of nude Manolo Blahnik ‘AW’ sandals, her signature necklaces, and a pair of Chanel sunglasses are sure going to be the way Anna would style this look, as per usual. 
Claire Danes will be on hand next Monday to present Womenswear Designer of the Year award to either Altuzarra, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, or The Row and I am very excited to see what she will bring to the red carpet. Claire was one of the queens of the night at last months Met Gala in a custom Zac Posen gown which meshed couture and technology in such a perfect way. I am hoping that the two will pair up again for the CFDA Awards. I would love to see Claire take to the red carpet wearing this black and white Zac Posen Spring 2016 RTW rendered in a printed velvet devore and features an inverted halter that drapes at the back, a relaxed floor length silhouette, and an exposed split at the back. I was a little surprised that this gown wasn’t worn over awards season, but I think that Claire would deliver such a glamorous moment on the CFDA Awards red carpet wearing this gown. I think that this gown is totally disco glamour chic, very on trend. Round the look out with a sleek updo, a pair of black Louboutin sandals, a black clutch, diamond drop earrings and a red lip to really ensure that Claire showcases some killer glamour on the CFDA red carpet.
Jennifer Hudson is set to be one of the evening performers, adding some fun to the proceedings. For the red carpet I would love to see Jennifer really wow me. I think that Jennifer would have one of her best ever red carpet moments if she stepped out on the CFDA Awards red carpet wearing this gorgeous deep purple Carolina Herrera Fall 2016 RTW halter gown which features sparkling embroidery throughout. This gown is so classically glamorous in such a modern way, and that is exactly what I think Jennifer’s style is. I don’t usually love it when Jennifer gives us classic Hollywood glamour all the way, but this modern take on glamour is perfect for her to really deliver a major red carpet moment. Sleek hair, a burgundy lip, silver clutch, black sandals, and a diamond ear cuff would really show us that Jennifer can hang with the fashion crowd. 
Karlie Kloss started this year really strong but has really let me down in recent weeks. I am hoping that when she takes to the 2016 CFDA Awards red carpet prior to presenting the Swarovski awards for womenswear, menswear, and accessories with Ansel Elgort, that she will bring glamizon Karlie to the red carpet. I went with this red, black and silver Altuzarra Fall 2016 RTW embellished handkerchief gown because I think that it meshes high glamour with Karlie’s more laid back style. Altuzarra is one of the designers nominated for the nights top prize, so I am sure that we will see at least one major moment from the designer on the red carpet, and I would hate to see this gown not get a red carpet moment. Karlie would be absolutely gorgeous wearing this gown with waves over one shoulder, a red lip, black clutch, and a pair of black sandals. 
Tilda Swinton will be at the CFDA Awards to accept The Board of Directors’ Special Tribute award on behalf of the late David Bowie. It will be like Bowie is gracing the evening with his presence, as Tilda bares a striking resemblence to the late singer. With so many stars, like Lady Gaga and Zendaya, all paying tribute to Bowie with tuxedo styles I don’t think Tilda will gown down that route. I do think that she will show up in avant garde style. I would really love to see Tilda hit the red carpet wearing this Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 RTW “Scream Queen” print draped column gown which features 3/4 length sleeves. This was my favorite look from this collection, and while I am not surprised that it did not get a red carpet moment I do think that it deserves one. Tilda would make this look really come to life on the red carpet, making a potential best dressed of the year moment. Perfectly coifed hair, a pair of red pumps, and red lip would really drive this look home for me.

Runway Report: Louis Vuitton Cruise 2017
Destination fashion shows are all the rage for Cruise/Resort shows. For Cruise 2017 Nicolas Ghesquière invited the fashion pack to Rio De Janeiro. Ghesquière is a huge lover of architecture so choosing the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum designed by Oscar Niemeyer as the site for Saturday’s runway show was really no surprise. The models came stomping out of the museum down the curved ramp and around the grounds of the museum, which sits atop a cliff over looking the ocean and all of Rio. That is about where my love of this collection ended. I thought that the deconstruction of this collection was something that was done in such a poor manner that I just couldn’t stand it. My distaste for Ghesquière has continued to rise with each new collection he puts forth. I feel so terribly for spokesmodels like Alicia Vikander, Lea Seydoux, Jennifer Connelly, and Michelle Williams because this collection has basically 0 red carpet potential. I pin all my favorite looks from the collections to Pinterest and when I went through this collection I only pinned 3 of the 47 looks. I couldn’t even find pieces that I liked, and I am really good at seeing runway looks for the potential of their pieces. Alicia Vikander, Jaden Smith, Catherine Deneuve, Liu Wen, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Zendaya all made the jaunt to Rio to take in the collection. I am saying what a whole other, non mainstream, folks are going thinking. I am hoping that the Ghesquière reign at Louis Vuitton is going to come to an end soon. These fugly clothes and tight leashes on the brands spokesmodels are really starting to get to me. I wish that someone else will take the reigns and set Louis Vuitton back on a course of glamour.

“The Conjuring 2” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List
I have to say that planning posts for the next week is going to be very difficult as we are in slow season for red carpets and I am starting to grasp at straws for events to talk about. I would normally skip right over the LA premiere of The Conjuring 2 but since I need events to post about I will give something for Vera Farmiga. Back when Vera was making the awards season rounds promoting her film Up In The Air back in 2010 I was thoroughly in love with her choices. Since then Vera has really downgraded her sense of style, and almost all of her looks have been based in black. I don’t expect that to change for the LA premiere of The Conjuring 2 on Tuesday Jun 7, 2016. I think that this black Aquilano.Rimondi Fall 2016 RTW pencil, faux wrap dress which features red piping detail and an asymmetrical neckline would be perfect. This dress fits the film, and Vera’s, dark nature and I think that it could round out to be a very high impact look, for a LBD that is. I would have Vera style her hair into a romantic curly bob, throw on a bold red lip, add a black clutch and a pair of red Christian Louboutin ‘Tpoppins’ t-strap patent leather pumps to really show that this is a high impact look for Vera on this red carpet.
2016 LA Film Fest: “Lowriders” Premiere Wish List
The 2016 LA Film Fest is the next film festival of the year and will kick off next Wednesday June 1, 2016 with a premiere of Lowriders. Usually I get excited over some of the LA Film Fest premieres but it seems like this year they are going to be rather blah, even the opening night. I was rather disappointed with what Eva Longoria brought to the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, and since that is usually where Eva wows I am not holding out hope that she will deliver anything that will really wow me. I am hoping that the newlywed-ed actress will have a new glow when she takes to the red carpet to premiere this film. I would love to see her wearing this lake blue Cushnie et Ochs Pre-Fall 2016 cocktail dress which features a deep v-neck with a wraparound panel draped at the bodice and a knee length pencil silhouette. Eva loves herself a pencil dress and I think that this would be a perfect look for her to open the festival. Round the look out with a pair of black Paul Andrew ‘Aeron’ sandals, a smokey eye, nude lip, and hair styled like the look book and I think that Eva might have a look I can get on board with. 
We have really only gotten one look at Supergirl starlet Melissa Benoist on the red carpet and that is when she showed up to the 2016 Golden Globe Awards wearing a pretty Monique Lhuillier gown. That was a pretty look, but it was safe. I am hoping that Melissa will start to bring some more daring choices to the red carpet. What better place to do that at than the LA Film Festival premiere of Lowriders. We see more edgy and varried looks on the red carpets during the LA Film Fest and I am intrigued to see what Melissa will bring to the opening festivities. I would love to see Melissa wearing this black and yellow Mugler Fall 2016 RTW leopard print velour contrast asymmetrical dress which features a stitch detail at the neck and a leather hemline. This Mugler dress is a perfect look to really show the world that Melissa has some fashion chops and can hang with the red carpet fashion heavy hitters. Style with a pair of black Stuart Weitzman ‘Myex’ suede sandals, sexy and glamorous waves, and a black clutch to really showcase this as a major look for Melissa, and something that will make me take notice.
“Tale of Tales” London Premiere Red Carpet Wish List
It has been over a year since The Tale of Tales first premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and now the film is finally getting released theatrically. Next Wednesday June 1, 2016 the cast will gather in London for the films red carpet premiere. At the Cannes premiere Alba Rohrwacher faded into the background wearing a dark green velvet Valentino Couture gown. As of yet I have not heard that Alba is confirmed to attend the London premiere, but if she does I am hoping she does so in high style. I think that this blue and gold Valentino Spring 2016 Couture fully embroidered gown which features strong shoulders and deep plunging neckline would be absolute perfection on Alba. While she usually makes the most amazing choices in clothing Alba’s hair and makeup are almost always very casual. I would love to see Alba really go for it with a chic, non frizzy, hairstyle, and a red lip to really make this look come to life on the red carpet. 
Unlike Alba at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival premiere of The Tale of Tales Salma Hayek really brought the glamour to the red carpet wearing an archived black and gold Alexander McQueen ballgown. When it comes to her red carpet choices I tend to find a lot of Salma’s choices unflattering or uninspiring. I hope that for her premiere, which she is confirmed to attend next Wednesday, that Salma really shows us why she is a force to reckon with on the red carpet. We are undoubtedly going to see Salma take to the red carpet wearing one of the Kering brands, which include Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Saint Laurent, and Alexander McQueen. I would really love to see Salma take to the red carpet wearing a custom Alexander McQueen gown, but I also think that this strapless red Gucci Fall 2016 RTW a-line gown which features baroque style painting print. I think that this gown would go with the dark baroque style of the film and do so in such a chic, glamorous, and modern way. Rounding the look with a black Gucci clutch, a pair of gold Gucci sandals, chic updo, and a smokey eye would really ensure that Salma has the most amazing look to really showcase her signature sexy glamour.
Finally I have a wish for Stacy Martin for the London premiere of The Tale of Tales. Stacy was absent from the Cannes premiere, and is not confirmed to attend the London premiere, but I would love to see the friend of Miu Miu & Prada take to the red carpet. I don’t think that Stacy has ever not worn one of Muccia’s designs on the red carpet. I would love to see Stacy hit the red carpet at this premiere wearing this strapless black velvet Miu Miu Fall 2016 RTW knee length cocktail dress with a dramatic sweetheart neckline and trimmed in satin ribbon. Add a pair of silver Prada embellished metallic leather crystal medallion pointed toe pumps, wavy bob, black lined eye, red lip, and a black Prada satin box clutch would really show way Stacy has such a relationship with Miu Miu.
“Me Before You” London Premiere Red Carpet Wish List
Every time that the trailer for Me Before You comes on my TV I think how cute it looks. I am really hoping that Emilia Clarke brings some cute and chic looks to the red carpet while out promoting the film. The film will have its world premiere in London tomorrow May 25, 2016. Emilia has always been a fashion heavy hitter since she first burst onto the red carpet scene after catching the eye of Chanel. Nowadays we see Emilia in all the most lucrative labels from Alexander McQueen to Balenciaga to Prada. For the London premiere I would love to see Emilia take to the red carpet wearing this Christian Dior Fall 2016 RTW black cocktail dress with draped floral detailing on one shoulder and the opposite hip. I would round this look out with a pair of gold Miu Miu metallic leather strappy sandals, romantic waves, and a red lip to really ensure that Emilia shuts the red carpet down at this premiere.
Top 10 Looks From The 2016 Cannes Film Festival
The 2016 Cannes Film Festival came to a close yesterday and it was 12 days packed full of high fashion and it was incredibly hard for me to narrow down my favorite looks from all the photocalls, premieres, parties, street style, and more down just to 10. There were 141 looks that I logged in contention for my best dressed at Cannes. We got to see a lot of these gorgeous ladies more than once so after picking my favorite looks from each actress I just started cutting down till only 10 were left standing. Topping the list is the always gorgeous Bollywood beauty Sonam Kapoor wearing custom Ralph & Russo Couture on the red carpet at the premiere of Loving. Over the course of the festival we saw Sonam step out 3 different times, each wearing a custom Ralph & Russo Couture gown and this gown I was totally taken with from the moment I saw it really grainy on the festival’s red carpet livestream. When it comes to Cannes we always live by the notion of go big or go home and Sonam definitely did that. With this look I can picture Sonam securing a spot on my Best Dressed of the Year list. 
Blake Lively was a close second (honestly it was pretty much everyone on this list was really close) to Sonam with her light blue custom Vivienne Westwood Couture gown at the premiere of Slack Bay (Ma Loute.) Blake put all stereotypes of maternity dressing aside for her red carpet looks and this moment was my favorite. Blake has never really had a princess moment so when she stepped out on this red carpet as Cinderella I fell in love. Her silver Christian Louboutin pumps, Oscar de la Renta clutch, and diamond headband all just helped make this look fall into perfection on the Cannes red carpet.
If you had told me at the beginning of the festival that Katy Perry would be on this list, no less in my top 4, I probably would have laughed at you. I usually find Katy’s red carpet looks very cheap or tacky, but when she stepped out on the red carpet at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala in this amazing Marchesa Fall 2016 RTW gown I ate my feelings. This red ombre Chantilly lace fish tail gown which features voluminous organza floral detailing on the sleeves and hem brought much needed dramatic glamour to an event that really let me down despite all the big names that graced the red carpet. I loved everything about this look and I am hoping Katy will keep up this gorgeous, dramatic glamour on the red carpet.
If anyone should win the Red Carpet MVP Award it is Thai actress Araya A. Hargate who walked several red carpets and definitely lived up to the go big or go home mentality of Cannes. The actress is one of the lovely L’Orealista’s who graced many of the festivals red carpets. I had a hard time picking the right look to feature on my best dressed list from Araya because she just hit it out of the park with all of her looks, almost all of them being haute couture, but in the end I had to go with this absolutely gorgeous pink and blue Zuhair Murad Spring 2016 Couture gown. Many will know that this is one of the gowns that I had on my 10 Gowns I Want To See At Cannes list (of which only 2 were worn) and she did this gown more than enough justice to make me fall in love. Araya is a petite lady and she owns these big ball gowns with such ease. 
One of the most unexpected looks of the whole Cannes Film Festival came when Charlize Theron stepped out on the red carpet at the premiere of her film The Last Face wearing a menswear inspired Christian Dior Couture tuxedo paired with a loose white button down shirt and a gorgeous Harry Winston diamond necklace. I was expecting Charlize to wear a bold Dior Couture gown on the Cannes red carpet, so when I saw her shun a dress all together I was shocked and awed. Making a menswear inspired ensemble look different is no easy task and Charlize really did that with this Dior Couture tuxedo.
I am not Elle Fanning’s biggest fan when it comes to her red carpet dressing, but her Zuhair Murad Spring 2016 Couture gown at the premiere of her film The Neon Demon was one for her record books. I loved that Elle went with a light, flirty, feminine, princess-like look for this premiere since her character in the film is quite dark. I was kinda expecting Elle to give us something dark and moody for this red carpet and I was quite impressed when she went the opposite. The delicate light nature of this look was perfect, and her hair and makeup (usually a major point of contention for me) was also perfectly on point.
Another unexpected moment that I loved was Julianne Moore who slithered (yes pun intended) down the red carpet at the Opening Ceremony premiere of Cafe Society wearing a custom Givenchy Couture gown which featured two beaded cobras wrapped around her body. I love that this gown was something so different for not just the Cannes red carpet but also for Julianne. The sleek hair, smokey eye, and emerald Chopard earrings really showcased why L’Oreal continues to invite Julianne back to Cannes to represent the brand, she always looks gorgeous. 
Another gorgeous look from the Cannes opening ceremony premiere of Cafe Society was supermodel Bianca Balti, who stepped out in a gorgeous custom cornflower blue Alberta Ferretti tulle gown which featured black floral embroidery. I think it was the gowns dramatic train which really sealed the deal for this gown. I don’t think that if this gown didn’t have that train that I would have likened this gown to a prom dress and never thought about it twice, but the dramatic, romantic glamour of this gown kept it in my mind from the opening ceremony through the closing ceremony.
Kirsten Dunst had so many gorgeous looks over the course of the festival from Gucci, Aouadi, Christian Dior, & Chanel, but it was her custom Valentino Couture gown at the Closing Ceremony that ultimately made this list. I think the fact that this was the only real high fashion moment of the closing ceremony and she floated down the red carpet as a bohemian glam goddess. Her romantic updo, kohl rimmed eyes, nude lip, and Chopard pink diamond drop earrings all added the perfect finishing touches to this red carpet look.
Last but not least is supermodel and L’Orealista Natasha Poly who brought my favorite of this years Prada looks to the red carpet of the Julieta premiere. This gold and pink brocade gown embellished with black stones and sequins embroideries brought a mix of modern glam with Marie Antoinette and 60’s society to the red carpet. I knew that Natasha would really bring it to the red carpet and she did not disappoint.

“Alice Through The Looking Glass” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List
Today was supposed to be dedicated to the London premiere of Alice Through The Looking Glass, but I had the wrong date for the premiere and it was actually last week. I missed new mom Anne Hathaway at the London premiere and I am hoping that she will be at the film’s premiere in LA on Monday May 23, 2016. I would love to see Anne hitting the red carpet at this premiere wearing this Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2016 gown rendered in cotton with a liberty print and features a sheath silhouette with a cascading ruffle panel at the bodice and a fluted skirt. This is a gown is a perfect choice for Anne to wear for a big summer blockbuster premiere red carpet, and a perfect gown for a new mom to wear on the red carpet. After Cannes I am going to be very critical of red carpet looks, and I really hope that Anne will really blow me away at this premiere. A wavy bob, red lip, emerald earrings, and a pair of light bronze Jimmy Choo ‘Lang’ lamé glitter sandals would really send this look into Best Dressed territory. 
I have been really blown away by Mia Wasikowska on the red carpet as she makes the rounds in Europe promoting Alice Through The Looking Glass from her custom green Prada at the London premiere and a bold red Alexander McQueen gown at the Madrid premiere. I am hoping that her fantastic run will continue through the LA premiere on Monday. This white Valentino Spring 2016 Couture draped gown which features metallic snake embroidery. I love this gown and I think it would take a woman with a quirky sense of style to make it work and I think that Mia would be able to make this gown effortless and glamorous on the red carpet. I can picture Mia working this look with a sleek hairstyle, light pink lip, and a pair of black & gold Gianvito Rossi ‘Portofino’ sandals to really ensure that this is a major red carpet moment, something that could rival the looks from Cannes.
Cannes 2016: amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala Red Carpet Wish List Part 4
This is my final wish for the 2016 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala which will take place at the Hotel Du Cap on Thursday during the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. I am really hoping that since her film The Last Face is premiering at the festival on Friday that Charlize Theron will be on hand at this years gala. Charlize has not been to an amfAR Gala since 2001, but the timing of her premiere and her charitable spirit I could see her taking to the red carpet on Thursday night. If Charlize does attend the amfAR Gala I hope that she takes the night off from wearing Dior, I think that this Giambattista Valli Spring 2016 Couture gown which features a black, white, and pink beaded bodice and a paper bag waist floral printed draped skirt. It has been a while since Charlize has worn a Giambattista look on the red carpet and I think that this gown is perfect for this red carpet, a perfect mix of high glamour and relaxed elegance. Ensuring that Charlize comes across as effortless on the amfAR red carpet I would add a white Edie Parker clutch, a pair of black Christian Louboutin sandals, Harry Winston diamond cluster earrings, a chic updo, & a red lip.
Gigi Hadid is a power model and a muse to amfAR fashion show coordinator Carine Roitfeld so I am sure that she will be on the carpet on Thursday at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala. For the red carpet I would love to see Gigi really deliver something absolutely fabulous and I think that this J. Mendel Fall 2016 RTW gown which features a black wrap style skirt with a sheath silhouette and a modified gully embellished multi-color halter bodice. I think that this is a perfect look for a model on this red carpet and Gigi would look absolutely gorgeous in it. This dress is young, sexy, and flirty something that would look so chic and modern on it. Adding a black Edie Parker clutch, a pair of black Christian Louboutin sandals, and a red lip would really deliver a perfect look for Gigi for amfAR.
I always love seeing Jourdan Dunn on the red carpet as she is one of the models that really brings bold, sexy glamour to the red carpet. I have heard that she is one of the models in the runway show this year at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala and I can not wait to see what she will bring to the red carpet. I went into the archives of Zuhair Murad to pick this gorgeous black and white Fall 2014 Couture ensemble which features a fully embellished tank and wrap skirt. This look is perfect for a red carpet in the French Riviera, so chic and modern while being glamorous and relaxed at the same time. A simple pair of black sandals, some killer diamond earrings, wavy bob, and bold red lip would really seal this as a killer moment for Jourdan.
Like I said yesterday about Marion Cotillard, I am not sure that Lea Seydoux will make it to the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala because their film It’s Only The End Of The World, is premiering in the late slot on the same night. I am hoping that both Marion and Lea will hit the red carpet at amfAR and duck out early to make it to the Palais for their premiere. Lea signed a deal with Louis Vuitton earlier this year and her fashion choices, like most LV spokesmodels, have been lackluster (for Lea, though she has fared better than most.) I am hoping that not every single one of Lea’s red carpet looks is from Vuitton. For amfAR I shunned the thought of LV and went with this GORGEOUS pale yellow Alexis Mabille Fall 2015 Couture gown which feature a one shoulder, a-line silhouette with dramatic floral detailing. I think it would take someone with Lea’s French elegance to really make this gown shine on the red carpet. In the past few years the focus of the amfAR carpet in Cannes has shifted from hosting mostly stars of film to hosting mostly models, and I am hoping that film stars are going to start making a come back. That is why I am hoping that Lea will make the quick jaunt to the amfAR Gala ahead of her premiere. 
One film star I know we will see is event chair Milla Jovovich. I always love seeing Milla on the red carpet in Cannes because she always brings drama and intense glamour to the red carpet. For the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala I would really love to see Milla take to the red carpet in this gorgeous mauve Armani Prive Spring 2016 Couture strapless ballgown which has a sheer cloud printed overlay over a sequined base. Wearing this gown Milla would look like a cloud floating down the red carpet. Some may think that this ballgown is too grand for amfAR, but I think that this is actually a perfect look for one of the big stars of the night to rock on the red carpet. Making this look extra glamorous with a vintage inspired bob, a red lip, diamond drop earrings, silver pumps, and a silver clutch would really seal this as a perfect red carpet ensemble. 
Amal Clooney has been killing her fashion choices in Cannes, like I expected her to, with gorgeous looks from Monse and Valentino while spotted out and about and a very spectacular custom Atelier Versace gown at the premiere of George Clooney’s film Money Monster the other night. I am hoping that since the Clooney’s have been staying that the hotel with the amfAR gala takes place that they are going to be sticking around. If they do I would love to see Amal take to the red carpet wearing this gold vintage inspired Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition Spring 2016 Couture gown rendered in silk satin which features a sheath silhouette with a bateau neckline, draped fringe, and beaded embellishment along the bodice. I think that this would be so gorgeous on Amal and she has the grace and elegance to really make this type of gown shine on the red carpet. Finishing with a red lip, vintage inspired updo, diamond drop earrings, and gold sandals this would be just another perfect look for Mrs. Clooney.
Cannes 2016: amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala Red Carpet Wish List Part 3
The amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala is just a few more days away, less than a week, and I can not wait to see what all the stars of fashion and film will wear on the red carpet. Diane Kruger is usually on the carpet in Cannes and I am hoping that she will journey to the French Riviera this year, even if it is just for the amfAR Gala. On the amfAR red carpet in Cannes Diane has only ever worn Chanel for her appearances. Since it has been her tradition I don’t see Diane wearing anything other than Chanel. For the red carpet I would love to see Diane wearing this gorgeous gold Chanel Spring 2016 Couture strapless tea length gown which is fully embellished. This was among my favorite looks from this collection and I think that Diane is the perfect person to give it some life on the red carpet. Styling this gown with vintage inspired updo, soft makeup, a gold clutch, and a pair of gold sandals for the red carpet would be perfect. Adding the cape as an evening wrap would also be a perfect idea for Diane. 
Dita Von Teese is an amfAR gala regular and I am hoping that she will bring her 1940’s burlesque beauty to the red carpet at this years gala. Always one to pick dramatic vintage inspired looks for the red carpet I would love to see Dita wear this soft pink Ralph & Russo Fall 2014 Couture cocktail dress which features embellished cap sleeves, a bell shaped skirt, and a cape-like back. I think that this dress is perfectly Dita and would be a gorgeous addition to the amfAR red carpet. A pair of silver Christian Louboutin pumps, a silver clutch, her signature beauty, and some diamond drop earrings would round this look out perfectly.
I have learned that supermodel Irina Shayk will join in on the fashionable festivities at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala on Thursday. The sexy model is usually seen wearing custom creations by Atelier Versace, and I am guessing that will be he case again this year, but I decided to go for something a little different. I picked this sultry Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2016 RTW sequin striped gown which features a sheath silhouette, beaded trim, a plunging neckline, and a sext center split. The only real departure I took with this look is picking something that isn’t Versace for Irina to wear. This gown is sexy and sultry, while also being incredibly glamorous. These features all make up a perfect look for a model to wear on the amfAR red carpet in Cannes. Adding sultry waves, a red lip, diamond drop earrings, and a pair of strappy black Christian Louboutin sandals and this look is set to stun. 
Joan Smalls always delivers a killer look when she steps out on the red carpet, so I am praying that she joins all the models to walk the red carpet at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala on Thursday. I picked something that I would love to see Joan on the red carpet, but is a little bit of pipe dream. This Valentino Spring 2016 Couture golden peacock gown is one of my favorite looks from the collection but I haven’t been able to figure out who should wear this gown, and I think that Joan would do this gown more than enough justice. What makes this wish a bit of a pipe dream is that Joan has never worn couture on the red carpet and she has never worn Valentino on the red carpet. I think that with a sleek pony, golden makeup, a dark red lip, a pair of gold sandals, and the runways gold body chain would absolutely make this one of the best looks of the night. 
Kirsten Dunst has not had a misstep in her fashion choices as of yet as her role of a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival. Usually we see the jury take the night off and celebrate for a good cause at the amfAR gala, and since this wouldn’t be her first time at amfAR I would love to see Kirsten on the red carpet. I think that this black Chanel Cruise 2017 tea length embellished evening gown. After mostly chic floral and bight colored looks so far I am waiting for dark and brooding Kirsten to show up on the red carpet. This gown would make for such a classically glam moment for Kirsten to wear on the red carpet at the amfAR Gala. A vintage inspired hairstyle, some killer diamond drop earrings, a lined eye and red lip would really ensure that Kirsten shows us why she’s killing Cannes.
Natasha Poly is a L’Oreal Paris spokesmodel so she will already be in Cannes for her duties for the beauty brand, and I am sure that she will model in Carine Roitfeld’s fashion show. For the red carpet I would love to see Natasha bring the drama wearing this red Naeem Khan Fall 2016 RTW silk crepe gown which features a high neck with cutout accents at the chest and waist and a sweeping floor-length cape attachment. I think that this gown has the potential to shut the red carpet down, though I am sure many will liken it to Lupita Nyong’o’s Ralph Lauren caped gown at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards. This has the potential to be one of my favorite red carpet looks and I think Natasha has the chutzpah to really make it work. Finish the looks with a pair of black sandals, a red box clutch, red lip, and a sleek bun to ensure that this gown is perfectly styled for the amfAR red carpet.
