2016 London Film Festival: “Una” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Rooney Mara stepped out of her neutral box opting for ed at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of Lion but I am not expecting that to last too long. I would bet that Rooney will be back to her white, beige, and black norm for the London Film Festival and the premieres of Una. I think that this black Prada Spring 2017 RTW feather embellished cocktail dress would be right up her ally. I would imagine that she would go very Audrey Hepburn with this look adding a pair of black sandals, red lip, diamond cluster earrings, and tight bun to really make this a beautiful red carpet moment.

2016 London Film Festival: “Manchester by the Sea” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Michelle Williams has been showcasing a lot of really great Louis Vuitton looks recently. I have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised by a lot of the recent Louis Vuitton gowns on the red carpet. I was at the point where Alicia Vikander was the only one who was able to really make me fall in love with a LV look, but recently a lot of the LV ladies have been having really great red carpet moments. Since all the LV looks have been custom and the runway looks SUCK I decided to shun the brand for this wish. I would love to see Michelle hit the red carpet in this navy and black Chanel Fall 2016 Couture tea length gown which features embellished lace detailing. I think that these type of classic looks are what Michelle wears best and that this would be a perfect moment. A pair of simple black sandals, a black Louis Vuitton clutch, diamond cluster earrings, and a red lip would add the perfect touches to this look for the London Film Festival Premiere of Manchester by the Sea.

2016 London Film Festival: “Moonlight” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

The cast of Moonlight disappointed me on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival so I am praying that they are back on top of their game when they jaunt to the UK for the films London Film Festival premiere. Janelle Monae has made her foray into acting recently and I am interested to see how her style evolves in regards to dressing for Hollywood red carpets. For this red carpet I would love to see Janelle hit the London Film Festival red carpet wearing this modern glam Christian Dior Fall 2016 Couture strapless gown. I think that that this would be a gorgeous modern almost Audrey Hepburn moment for Janelle on this red carpet. A chic curly afro, bright pink lip, black sandals, a black Edie Parker clutch, and a pair of diamond drop earrings would really round this look out perfectly for Janelle. Naomie Harris is always one of my favorite ladies to see on the red carpet so I was sad that she didn’t really blow me away at the Toronto Film Festival. I am praying that when she steps out on her home turf to premiere Moonlight at the 2016 London Film Festival that she really sets the standard high. I think that this strapless Armani Prive Fall 2016 Couture strapless fully embellished column gown would be absolutely amazing for Naomie to grace the London Film Festival.

2016 London Film Festival: “The Birth of a Nation” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

The cast of The Birth of a Nation has been up and down with their red carpet looks over the course of the promo tour so far and I am praying that they start to hit a stride. The next stop on the promotional road is the London Film Festival where the film will have a gala premiere. I am hoping that we finally get that real big moment from Aja Naomi King, which I have been eagerly awaiting. Aja shares a stylist with Kirsten Stewart so I was looking at some of the brands that Tara Sweenen, their stylist, has worked with and I decided that Aja needs a major Elie Saab moment. I think that the London Film Festival premiere of The Birth of a Nation would be the perfect place for Aja to rock this absolutely major Elie Saab Fall 2016 Couture gown which features a plunging neckline, black and white printed wrap style ball skirt, and gorgeous oversized floral embellishments. This is a very dramatic take on a princess moment and I think that Aja would hit the red carpet with great aplomb. I would love to see Aja go for a chic updo with a red lip, dainty diamond drop earrings, and a pair of simple black strappy platform sandals to really send this look into major moment territory. Gabrielle Union can be either hit or miss with her red carpet looks and it has been a while since I have really loved one of her looks. I am hoping that if she makes the jaunt to London to premiere The Birth of the Nation at the London Film Festival that Gabrielle really showcases a gorgeous moment. I went with something a little more modern than she has worn recently with this liquid black sequined Kaufmanfranco Fall 2016 RTW off the shoulder column gown which features a stomach slash and a cut out back. This is modern glamour at it’s best and I think that Gabrielle could make it a really major moment. Where she could make the look go wrong is in the styling. I would add sexy Veronica Lake waves, a bright red lip, diamond drop earrings, a statement cocktail ring, and a pair of strappy back Christian Louboutin sandals to really make this a perfect look for Gabrielle.

Random Kate Hudson Red Carpet Wish List

Well today was supposed to be my wish for Kate Hudson for the London premiere of Deepwater Horizon but the date must have changed from when I originally planned by schedule. The premiere was actually on Monday and Kate didn’t show. Kate has always been a red carpet favorite of mine, and while I was slightly underwhelmed by her Alexander McQueen gown at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of Deepwater Horizon I know she has it in her to really WOW me. Kate has such a glamizon meets bohemian meets sex pot style and I absolutely adore the varied styles that she brings to the red carpet. So despite the fact that the premiere has already come and gone, and I haven’t seen any more for the film come up I decided not to waste the wish. The moment I saw this navy Prabal Gurung Spring 2017 RTW handkerchief gown which dress features a cold styled shoulder, a plunging V-neckline and hand-beaded and sequin detailing throughout Kate was the first person to come to mind. I think that this gown plays to the glamizon and bohemian sides of Kate’s style. A bohemian updo, red lip, silver clutch, silver sandals, and diamond drop earrings would really make this look an ace for Kate.

2016 London Film Festival: “Certain Women” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

I am really hoping that Kristen Stewart will join in promoting Certain Women after skipping out on the films premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. I was excited to see that when Kristen stepped out for the Chanel dinner celebrating No. 5 L’Eau where she debuted new fully bleach blonde locks. I was really tiring of her blonde ends dark roots do that she has sported most of the year. I think that the short hair works really well for her and the color is just so modern, while still being elegant. For the London Film Festival I decided to go with a more feminine flirty look to contrast with the edge of the bleach blonde with this amazing black Chanel Cruise 2017 halter neck tea-length gown. This could come across as such a modern, and edgy, Audrey Hepburn moment and I think that Kristen could really make this look work. With a pair of black patent leather Christian Louboutin ‘Pyramidpump’ stud embellished pumps, a sleek hairstyle, red lip, Chanel fine jewelry black & white diamond cluster earrings, & a black and white diamond cuff bracelet Michelle Williams has actually been delivering red carpet looks recently that I have actually been really liking and I am praying that she continues to deliver awesome looks. What I think makes the fact that I have been loving Michelle’s red carpet looks recently is that she has exclusively worn Louis Vuitton and they have been really good compared to a lot of their looks. I would like to see Michelle branch out her love for labels at the London Film Festival premiere of Certain Women by wearing this black cherry Elie Saab Resort 2017 sleeveless tiered gown which features a sheer lace neckline, panels of ruffled crepe georgette for an overall tiered vanguard design. I think that this would be so incredibly chic and Michelle has the effortless grace to really make this look come off as effortless. A chic pixie style, glossy lip, and simple dyed to match satin platform pumps would really ensure that Michelle continues to have gorgeous red carpet moments.

2016 London Film Festival: “La La Land” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Emma Stone opened the 2016 Venice Film Festival wearing an absolutely major Atelier Versace gown, which is probably going to make it on my Best Dressed of the Year list. I am keeping a close eye on this promo tour because Emma has some of the best red carpet style and I am really looking forward to seeing what else Emma has in store. For the London Film Festival premiere of La La Land I am sure Emma will bring it to the red carpet, and I am hoping that it is something major. I think that for her first appearance at the London Film Festival I decided to go with another first for Emma. We have never seen Emma hit the red carpet wearing Schiaparelli but I think that this black and gold strapless, tea length, trumpet gown from the Fall 2016 Couture collection would be absolutely amazing. A chic updo, black sandals, gold clutch, and red lip would keep Emma on the top of Best Dressed lists.

2016 London Film Festival: “Brimstone” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Dakota Fanning has been having some of her best looks ever on the red carpet recently and I am praying that continues when she hops over to London to premiere her film Brimstone that her streak continues. I think that this gorgeous ice blue Christian Dior Spring 2016 Couture column gown would be absolutely gorgeous on Dakota. I think that the color and silhouette are typical for Dakota. What could really turn this look up for me all comes down to the details. Perfectly curled Veronica Lake waves, a pair of small diamond drop earrings, a silver clutch, and silver sandals would really add the perfect icing to this red carpet moment for Dakota.

2016 London Film Festival: “Arrival” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Amy Adams has been really busy promoting two films on the red carpet recently and there are going to be a bunch more red carpets in her future. I am more excited about her premieres for Arrival than her premieres for Nocturnal Animals because she varies her labels for that for Nocturnal Animals press she wears exclusively Tom Ford. I would probably fall out of my desk chair if Amy hit the London Film Festival red carpet to premiere Arrival wearing this amazing brown tulle Gucci Spring 2017 RTW tiered gown which features a dagger driven heart embroidered on the bodice. This is probably the look that I most want to see hit the red carpet from this collection and I will be really disappointed if the person who wears it lets it down. I think that Amy would turn this into such a classic Hollywood style with effortless glamour. A vintage inspired updo, a pair of gold Gucci sandals, bold red lip, and diamond cluster earrings would ensure that Amy really makes this a to die for red carpet ensemble.

2016 London Film Festival: “It’s Only The End Of The World” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Both of the starlets of It’s Only The End of the World are currently pregnant. I am intrigued to see how both ladies will handle their baby bumps on the red carpet. This is the first child for French actress Lea Seydoux and with her first red carpet in maternity style the face of Louis Vuitton was of course in a simple custom look from the label. I would imagine that Lea will step out at the London Film Festival premiere of the film wearing another custom look from Louis Vuitton, which haven’t been all that terrible lately. I would really love it if Lea showed up for this premiere wearing this gorgeous Lanvin Resort 2017 bias cut black gown with floral embroidery I think that the way that this gown is draped would just look so effortless over her burgeoning baby bump. A romantic updo, dark red lip, gold clutch, and black sandals would perfectly finish this look. Marion Cotillard skipped the Toronto Film Festival, but I am hoping that she will jaunt from France to London for the London Film Festival premiere of It’s Only The End Of The World. Marion announced to the world that she was preggers via Instagram when while addressing the rumors that Brad Pitt cheated on Angelina Jolie with her. There are a lot of looks from the Christian Dior Fall 2016 Couture collection that would be conducive to a baby bump on the red carpet, though I am sure that the collection will be spread thin with Marion and Natalie Portman both being pregnant right now. I think that this asymmetrical neck draped trapeze style black tea length gown which features white embroidery would be so chic on Marion, who has not been my favorite Dior spokesmodel recently. I think that this with a sleek hairstyle, bright pink sandals, and a light pink lip would add the perfect finishing touches to this look ensuring that Marion’s first baby bump red carpet look ever.
