2017 Locarno Film Festival Red Carpet Wish List

The Locarno Film Festival is kicking off on August 2, 2017 and I am really excited to see what will happen. This is the first of the fall film festivals, but sometimes the red carpets can be a little lacking. There aren’t too many big stars in the movies that are premiering at this years edition of the Locarno Film Festival so I am hoping that the stars that are featuring in this years selection are all out in full force. French actress Berenice Bejo’s film Three Peaks is slated to make its Italian premiere at the Locarno Film Festival and following her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, I got really excited about her style again. When it comes to the dressing for Locarno the dress code is cocktail chic and I think that Berenice will ensure her look is perfect. When I first saw this sunset peach Elie Saab Resort 2017 bead embroidered ankle length cocktail dress which features a scoop neckline and an A-line ankle length skirt Berenice came to mind immediately. For a red carpet like the Locarno Film Festival I think that this would be an absolutely beautiful moment for Berenice. With the matching sandals from the runway, a chic updo, gold clutch, and a light pink lip this would be a beautiful look for Berenice. Isabelle Huppert has made a real style emergence this year. After an awards season run and two films at the Cannes Film Festival Isabelle has been having her best year ever. I doubt she will make the journey to Locarno for the festival but I would love to see Isabelle step out to promote her latest film Madame Hyde on the red carpet. During Paris Couture Fashion Week earlier this month Isabelle slipped into her seat front row at the Armani Prive Fall 2017 Couture show as the first model took the runway after showing up late. She made no big deal, but graciously slipped into a seat without any fuss. There are definitely a few looks from the collection that I want to see Isabelle wear and I think that this suited look which consists of a lilac zip up jacket and a lace trimmed slip style skirt with a beautiful hand painted watercolor print would be an absolutely perfect red carpet moment for Isabelle to wear for the Locarno Film Festival. Now I know I said that that the red carpet at the Locarno Film Festival is usually more cocktail than gown arena, but Noomi Rapace is definitely one who doesn’t stand by dress code. For the festivals premiere of What Happened to Monday? I went with Dior Couture for Noomi. We saw Noomi front row at the Dior Homme show so I think it would bode well for her wearing the brand in the future. I think for for this Locarno premiere I think that Noomi would rock this black and maroon tulle Christian Dior Fall 2017 Couture sheer gown on the red carpet like no one else. I have been over the whole sheer trend, but I think that Noomi could really make this dress come to life on the red carpet. At the Dior Homme show Noomi had soft pink hair that I think would compliment this gown on the red carpet. With a pair of simple black sandals, diamond cluster earrings, and a kohl rimmed eye this look would be perfect. It has been a while since we have seen Vanessa Paradis on a red carpet. I was kind of surprised that she didn’t make the jaunt to Cannes for this years festivals big 70th anniversary soiree after being on the jury last year. The French actress could be on a red carpet soon at the 2017 Locarno Film Festival to promote her latest film, Chien. It is pretty much a given that if Vanessa steps out on the red carpet at the Locarno Film Festival that we will see her wearing Chanel. Almost all of Vanessa’s red carpet looks are Chanel, and we tend to see her front row at most of the brands runway shows. I think that this light dusty blue Chanel Cruise 2018 draped jersey dress is something totally up Vanessa’s ally and I think that for an event like the Locarno Film Festival I think that this is a perfect option for her to rock on the red carpet. Last but not least is the beautiful Zoe Kravitz whose film Gemini is being screened at the 2017 Locarno Film Festival. The film debuted in the United States back in early March, and is now going to screen at the festival in Locarno. Now there are definitely a whole host of designers that we could see Zoe wearing on the red carpet for Locarno, but I want to see her show up in this deep purple Alexis Mabille Fall 2017 Couture strapless silk and velvet trapeze mini dress. Zoe has worn Alexis on past red carpets, even giving the designer his first Academy Awards moment, and I think that for this red carpet that this creation would be an absolutely perfect look. I can picture Zoe with her bohemian glamour attitude really making this dress come to life on the red carpet. Finishing the look with a smokey eye, nude lip, and a pair of strappy black sandals would make it perfect for her to wear at the Locarno Film Festival.

Princess Charlene of Monaco Royal Style Wish List

I was just two days out of having this list out for an actual big event that Princess Charlene of Monaco actually attended. I often find that I don’t get much of a heads up when it comes to events that Princess Charlene is going to attend. On Thursday she attended the Monaco Red Cross Rose Ball wearing an absolutely beautiful custom Atelier Versace jumpsuit. It was probably the most exciting thing that Princess Charlene has worn since her custom Armani Prive wedding gown. The princess was an Olympic swimmer before marrying Prince Albert and has the figure of a supermodel. With friends at major fashion houses like Armani, Versace, Chanel, and Christian Dior I know Charlene has the potential to be the best dressed royal out there, but it seems that most of the time she just lacks effort. I am hoping that her Atelier Versace gown this past week is an indication of good things to come. When we were first introduced to Princess Charlene she wore a lot of Armani Prive, and the looks ranged from perfectly tailored suits to custom evening gowns. I decided that I want Princess Charlene to return to Armani Prive because some of her best looks have come courtesy of the brand. I think that Charlene would look ever so chic and modern wearing this purplish grey Armani Prive Fall 2017 Couture pastel water color printed suit which features a zip up deep scoop neck jacket and knee length pencil skirt. The jacket might have to be modified to make the neckline a little more modest, but I think that she will look absolutely beautiful wearing this suit as is. A pair of grey pointed toe pumps, maybe a diamond necklace, and rose red lip would make this a picture perfect look for Princess Charlene. The Rose Ball last week was not the first time that Charlene has worn Atelier Versace, and I hope that we continue to see her in the brand more and more. I think that a royal who wears Versace is the epitome of glamour and that is exactly what we have seen from Princess Charlene every single time she has worn the brand in the past. Now all of Charlene’s past Atelier Versace moments have been custom for her, but I think that this dark gunmetal grey embroidered chainmail cocktail dress from the Atelier Versace Fall 2017 Couture collection would be absolutely amazing. Most of Charlene’s outfits are either prim dresses and suits or glam gowns so I could see her having this look modified into a dramatic gown. Either way I know it would be an absolutely beautiful and dramatic moment for the Monégasque royal. Karl Lagerfeld is a friend of the Monégasque royals dressing Princesses Stephanie and Charlotte for several events over the course of a year. Princess Charlene has only worn a custom Karl Lagerfeld ensemble once for the civil service of her wedding, but has not worn the brand for anything big since then. I couldn’t find any single time that Charlene has worn Chanel for an event, but I think that there are several looks for her to wear. I went for her love of palazzo pants with this Chanel Resort 2018 ensemble which features a striped button down vest, pleated palazzo pants, and a rope belt to be the first look from Chanel that Princess Charlene. I think that this look would be a perfect look for Charlene to wear while doing a more casual Royal visit or for an event like watching the Monaco Grand Prix. Giambattista Valli is one of my favorite fashion brands and Princess Charlene has worn some of the brands more casual looks before, but has yet to embrace the brand for formal occasions. The Monégasque royals attend several back tie gala’s a year, and I would love to see Princess Charlene to really just knock it out of the park at every single black tie gala. I think that Charlene would look absolutely beautiful at say the Monaco National Day gala in November wearing this chic red draped Giambattista Valli Fall 2017 Couture sleeveless gown. This gown is absolutely regal and I think that Charlene would be absolutely dazzling in this creation. The gown might not have any sparkle but I think that with the addition of some great diamond earrings, diamond cuff bracelet, and a bold red lip that Charlene would have just another absolutely amazing moment.

Solange to wear the Fall 2017 Couture Collections

I don’t get to feature Solange as often as I normally would like too, but she isn’t one to usually attend many of the events that I make wish lists for. So after most seasons I pick my favorite looks from the collection for Solange so that there are wishes put out into the universe for Solange to rock on the red carpets. I feel like it has been a while since we have seen Solange wearing couture look after couture look and I wish we would get back to that time. The Fall 2017 Couture collections were full of looks that I want to see Solange bring to life on the red carpet. Up first is the amazing Ashi Studio Fall 2017 Couture collection. I am loving that slowly the Ashi Studio label is gaining a star following and I think that Solange would fit right in with the ranks of current celebrity fans of the brand. We have seen Ashi Studio on the backs of Janelle Monae, Erykah Badu, Zendaya, Araya A. Hargate, and Sonam Kapoor and I definitely hold Solange to the same standard as all of those ladies. Maybe a higher one at times. I think that this cream Ashi Studio Fall 2017 Couture high-low gown features some amazing detailed embroidery and meshes Solange’s love of volume and of bohemian styles perfectly. Solange attends several back tie gala’s during the year and this would be a perfect option for Solange to rock for any of them. Solange has never worn Georges Chakra on a red carpet. His normal aesthetic doesn’t usually scream Solange and her style but there was definitely a few looks from his Fall 2017 Couture collection that I thought would call Solange. This emerald embroidered organza ensemble which features a feather embellished cape blouse and wide leg pants came down the runway during Paris Couture Fashion Week earlier this month and I immediately thought of Solange. This is a complicated look and I don’t think many have the presence to make this look come to life on a red carpet, but on Solange this look would just ooze effortless glamour. It has been ages since we have seen Solange wear Giambattista Valli on a red carpet, and I believe that she should totally give the French couturier a call because I think that she would definitely rock some of  the more out there looks that he sends down the runway. I think that this white lace high low gown which features delicate floral embroideries, puffy long sleeves, and a contrasting plunging neckline would be amazing on Solange. It has that dramatic romanticism that Solange carries off with ease on the red carpet. For an appearance at a big gala or a film festival this would be an awesome choice.Solange wore an Iris Van Herpen gown to in the press room at the Grammy Awards earlier this year and I think that she really fits the aesthetic of the brand. Sometimes the brand verges on too out there, but there are always a few potential great moments on the red carpet. I think that this 3D embroidered gown just screams sexy glamour and it would be a great different look for Solange to wear on the red carpet. I think that because of the sexy and edgy nature of this gown it would be a perfect look for Solange to wear on the red carpet for the VMA’s or the Grammy’s next year. Solange and Stephane Rolland have long been a partnership that I have loved. She is one of the few who can wear just about any of his creations on the red carpet and rock it. This white strapless trumpet gown is elevated with the 3D orchid cluster that adorns the back of this gown like a modernist art sculpture of angel wings and I know that Solange has the presence to make this look work on a red carpet with absolute ease. The gown is pretty much a classic except for the floral detail and I think that Solange would make it the angelic, dramatic, and glam moment that it should be and is.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge to wear the Resort 2018 Collections

Last week we saw Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge on a royal tour of Poland and Germany debuting what seems to be a new sense of style. If Catherine was a Hollywood starlet I would have guessed she changed stylists, and to be honest she still could have. I am so used to seeing Catherine wearing coat dress at dress that it was nice to see a little variation in her style. With this new found sense of style, and a little bit of a variance in designers, I decided that I was going to shop the lookbooks of the Resort 2018 collections for things that I would love to see Catherine incorporate into her royal wardrobe. With the expansion of the brands that she has worn to include bigger international brands over the last few months I really want to see Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge continue to embrace big international brands. For a recent state dinner in honor of the visit of the Spanish royals we saw blurry pictures of Catherine wearing an absolutely beautiful blush pink Marchesa lace ball gown and it came with a daring neckline and the shock that she wasn’t wearing Jenny Packham or Alexander McQueen for a major state event. I am really upset at the fact that there was no standing photo of Catherine in her Marchesa gown, because it was such a different look and one that worked really well for her. Since we don’t often seen the Duchess in formal wear I only picked one gown for this list and it is this red Oscar de la Renta Resort 2018 silk gown which features an illusion neckline, a cascading crystal embroidered design, and a full length ball skirt. This dramatic ballgown screams wear me princess with its chic yet impactful moment and I definitely think that Catherine would look so chic wearing this gown for a gala event be it a state dinner, royal movie premiere, or other gala event. I wonder if the sheer illusion neckline would still meet strict palace dress code, but I think Catherine has been pushing the limits on the dress code recently and people are loving her newfound sense of style. Prabal Gurung is a brand that Catherine has incorporated into her wardrobe in the past, most notably for a royal tour stop in Singapore (where Prabal was born) in 2012. I would love to see Catherine step out for one of her more casual events wearing this ensemble from the Prabal Gurung Resort 2018 collection which features a powder blue, ruffled, cold shoulder blouse and white eyelet flared hem knee length flared hem skirt. The casual look is regal, flirty, feminine, and incredibly classic and I think that it is the perfect casual look for the Duchess to wear for her daily royal duties. Valentino is not a brand that we have ever seen Catherine wear publicly, but with her turn to bigger brands this year including Chanel that I don’t think it is not outside of Catherine’s realm of possibility. This army green Valentino Resort 2018 long sleeve dress which features a pleated a-line skirt and turquoise beaded tribal inspired embroidery would be a really cool look for Catherine to wear for one of the more rugged or sporty themed events she attends that the dress code calls for her to dress up more than show up in jeans and a hunting jacket. This would be one of the boldest looks that Catherine has ever worn. We don’t often see Catherine take on such bold print, or even a bold turquoise color, but I totally think that she would take this dress and really make it into a totally major style moment. One that is 100% on current fashion trend. I can honestly say that I am really shocked that Catherine has never, publicly, wore a dress or coat by her friend Victoria Beckham, who is a major internationally loved fashion brand. Posh Spice was one of the guests at Will and Catherine’s wedding and as a huge British based fashion brand it just really does surprise me that Catherine has never worn one of her designs. Victoria Beckham has this very signature regal, column silhouette pencil dresses that can be pared with blazers or worn solo with long sleeves and fit in perfectly with the royal dress code. I would love to see Catherine finally give the Victoria Beckham label a go adding this dusty rose dress which features flared 3/4 length sleeves and a knotted detail on the neckline from the brands Resort 2018 collection. I think that Catherine would definitely rock this dress with a pair of nude pumps and a great fascinator for an event like Trooping the Color or a Royal Garden party. This is a very prim and proper look and I think that Catherine would look so chic and give a little variance to looks that tend to always look exactly the same.

“The Defenders” Season 1 LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Marvel fans have been waiting for a second season of the Netflix series Jessica Jones, and they are going to have to wait until next year for the actual show to return, but might be able to satiate their cravings when Netflix debuts their latest Marvel show The Defenders on August 18, 2017. On Monday (July 21, 2017) the cast will gather in LA to celebrate the show with a red carpet premiere. There are definitely a few of our red carpet favorites who are part of the cast of this show, so I am expecting some pretty good things from this premiere to round out the month. Krysten Ritter is Jessica Jones and I absolutely adore seeing her on the red carpet, so I am really excited to see what she will rock the red carpet at this premiere wearing. I usually spend the final day of the month writing my best dressed list, but because there is the promise of Krysten on the red carpet at this premiere I will be holding out. If Krysten stepped onto this red carpet wearing this smokey grey Georges Chakra Fall 2017 Couture full skirted tea length gown which features an asymmetrical corded bodice I think that she would end up with a spot on my Best Dressed of July list. Krysten has this look that just exudes glamour and a personality that is fun and quirky that makes picking looks for her so much fum because she likes so many different things. I love how Georges Chakra mixed modernity and 50’s glamour in this dress and I totally think that Krysten would be a perfect choice to make this look come to life on the red carpet. I think that with a chic high bun updo, smokey eye, matte red lip, and a pair of anthracite Aquazzura ‘Monaco’ beaded fringe sandals that this would be perfect look for Krysten. It has been a long time since Sigourney Weaver wore anything that got me really excited. I am hoping that when she steps out for this premiere that she really gives us something chic and fun. I think that Sigourney would look chic and flirty on the red carpet of this premiere wearing this lilac Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition Fall 2017 ensemble which features an breezy draped cold shoulder tunic top and chiffon wide leg pants. I wold expect that Sigourney would have the pants lined for her to wear on the red carpet, but I don’t think that she would loose any of the integrity of the look itself. I think that with a pair of nude crystal embellished Miu Miu satin sandals, loose waves, a nude satin clutch, and simple makeup that this loom would be perfectly finished for Sigourney to rock on this red carpet.Rosario Dawson can either be really good or really bad when she steps out on the red carpet, and for the LA series premiere red carpet for The Defenders I really want to see a top notch look from Rosario. I think that she would deliver a really chic moment on this red carpet wearing this black scalloped asymmetric hem strapless Brandon Maxwell Fall 2017 RTW dress which features a thin belted waistband and knee length pencil silhouette. The dress is a pretty standard LBD and I don’t think Rosario will rock anything special style wise on the red carpet, but with the right styling I think that it could still be a pretty great look. Styling this simple dress with old Hollywood waves, smokey eye, nude lip, and a pair of statement multi-color Christian Louboutin ‘Choca’ sandals would elevate this look perfectly. Elodie Yung is relatively new to the fashion scene, but I know that she could deliver something incredibly statement making on the red carpet at the LA premiere of The Defenders. I am really intrigued to see which designers will start to embrace Elodie and dress her for red carpet events. Earlier this year for the LA premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Elodie wore a white David Koma dress and it was then pretty easy for me to pick a look for her to wear for this red carpet. I loved the David Koma Resort 2018 collection and I think that Elodie would more than do this ensemble which features a black open shoulder top and asymmetrical feather embellished skirt justice. The look is modern with a nod to the 80’s and I think that for a fun superhero premiere that it would be a great look on the red carpet. I want to see Elodie find a pair of matching lime green simple sandals adding a simple black clutch, smokey eye, nude lip, and tight bun to really finish this look perfectly.

Celine Dion Street Style Wish List

It has been a treat for about the last month that I have woken up every day and done a quick picture search of Celine Dion and see what she has worn exiting her Paris hotel that day. She has given us head to toe high fashion and even haute couture as street style. These looks have rivaled the likes of Lady Gaga, Rita Ora, and Rihanna on the sidewalk. A year ago Celine started working with Hollywood power stylist Law Roach hand we have since seen Celine wear Ralph & Russo, DSquared2, Vetements, Dior, Saint Laurent, and more just for the sidewalk. Since she has been having as much fun as she I decided that I wanted to make a few wishes for Celine to wear on the sidewalks.  Up first is a gorgeous look from Blumarine Resort 2018. Day or night, casual to cocktail. Celine wears it all and I think she could definitely rock this navy blue ensemble which features a sequined top and midi skirt with an asymmetrical ruffled hem. This look is definitely very flashy, and a totally 80’s throwback and is not exactly the first thought I have for a street style look, but Celine gives us over the top glamour on the sidewalk and I think that this would be a perfect addition to that repertoire. Further elevating this look I would add a blue and white striped Balenciaga ‘Bazar Shopper’ bag and a pair of navy Alexandre Birman ‘Layla’ sandals would just really make this another best dressed worthy moment for Celine. I have honestly been surprised that Celine has not yet incorporated Elie Saab into her streetwear rotation yet. Celine has been a fan of Elie Saab for years wearing the brand for everything from the Academy Awards to the stage of her Las Vegas residency concert. With the label’s turn towards more casual looks with the ready-to-wear collections it makes me even more surprised. I think that this coral reef colored Elie Saab Resort 2018 ensemble which features a lace panel blouse and a studded leather skirt is perfect for Celine. It is just elevated enough to make a real statement on the sidewalk, but also still casual enough for her to rock on the sidewalk runway. I personally would want Celine to keep this look with the patent bag that it was paired with in the look book adding a pair of simple gold Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Follies’ leather pointed toe pumps to make it street style ready.Celine has worn a lot of over the top looks on the sidewalk, but we have not seen her step out wearing any sort of maxi dress yet. This surprises me because I think that Celine would definitely work a flowing maxi skirt to it’s full potential as she exits her hotel and jumps into her car on her way to her events of the day. I can just picture Celine twirling the skirt of this bright orange printed Fausto Puglisi Resort 2018 ensemble which consists of a 3/4 length sleeve peasant blouse and high waisted maxi skirt. I know that Celine would bring all her diva-tude to a look like this. Because how how I want Celine to rock this look on the sidewalk runway I went with a simpler bag with a gold Fendi tube floral wallet on a chain and then keeping with the old orange adding a pair of Gianvito Rossi ‘Flora’ ruffled suede lace up sandals. Following Celine rocking the front rows at some of the shows during Paris Couture Fashion Week I found myself asking why she had yet to wear couture for her street style, then she stepped out in an extremely dramatic Ralph & Russo Couture cape. That, for me, has opened Celine up to rocking some of the most glamorous looks in the world on sidewalk runway. I looked at all the Fall 2017 couture shows and debated on a few of the looks for Celine but this Ronald van der Kemp ensemble really just screamed Celine’s name to me. I think that the jade green blouse with a dramatic collar and a bright multicolored mini skirt is very much Celine’s high glam sense of style and incorporate couture more into her street style, but still keeps this very daytime and personal wardrobe vibe that most couture doesn’t have. Celine has a great selection of bags that I am sure that she has something that could be paired perfectly with this look but I went shopping at Neiman Marcus and found this amazing embellished nude Christian Louboutin ‘Paloma’ mixed stud tote bag and said that it would be a perfect compliment to this look. Finishing the look with a pair of bright pink Gucci ‘Allie’ knotted sandals to compliment the floral print in the skirt and this would be yet another absolutely stunning sidewalk style moment for Celine.Rounding out this list is a label I love and continue to want to see build its celebrity fan base. The moment i saw this Sachin + Babi ensemble in their Resort 2018 lookbook I knew it was going to be destined for a major street style moment. I think that the metallic stripe robe-style coat and the skin tight navy bodysuit screams wear me from one of the many street style mavens like Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, or Hailey Baldwin and with her emergence I have added Celine into that list. It seems like an odd addition when everyone else I have put on a list to wear this look at 20 something models, but Celine has proven with her recent looks that she is here to hang and hang she has. Since the coat is such a statement I would go simpler with the accessories adding a night blue Givenchy ‘Horizon’ tote bag and a pair of ink blue Aquazzura ‘Party Plateau’ satin embellished platform sandals to just enhance this look to ensure that Celine really owns this look on the sidewalk.

Target Haul Tuesday: Diane Kruger Street Style Inspired

I put a poll up on Twitter to find out who my followers wanted to see me create outfits around this week, and Diane Kruger beat out Cara Delevingne and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to be this week’s feature. Diane Kruger is one of our biggest fashion crushes so it did not surprise me that she won out. For today’s Target Haul Tuesday I decided to use one of Diane’s street style looks as inspiration for this weeks look. This look is incredibly perfect for summer and the impending transition into early fall. Anyone could make this look work and is the perfect look to run some errands in on a weekend then meet friends for drinks. Change up the accessories for this look to take it from errands on the go to night out with friends.

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands Royal Style Wish List

Since she assumed the title of Queen Consort of the Netherlands upon the coronation of her husband Willem-Alexander as king back in 2013 Queen Maxima has been one of the most fashionable royals in Europe. While the focus on fashion usually falls on Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Maxima has this bold, electric style that just makes me swoon every single time that she steps out. For the coronation ceremony Queen Maxima delivered her first eye catching wardrobe moment in an electric blue gown from Dutch couturier Jan Taminiau, who has become a favorite of hers. We have also seen Maxima wearing gorgeous designs from high fashion brands like Chanel, Gucci, and Valentino. For the most part Queen Maxima steps out for public appearances wearing Dutch designers, I decided to make a couple of high fashion wishes for her to incorporate into her wardrobe. Ashi Studio is a label that is starting to really gain some traction with high profile celebrity friends like Sonam Kapoor, Demi Lovato, Janelle Monae, Zendaya, and Fan Bingbing. The brand is known for intricate and embroideries and volume. This white pleated gown from the Ashi Studio Fall 2017 Couture collection which features a dramatic sweetheart neckline and pleated bell sleeves focuses on the brands love of volume I think would be a majorly regal moment for Queen Maxima to wear for a more formal occasion. Now I realize that for a royal that the neckline of the gown would have to be made much more modest, but I think that the gown would still hold it’s integrity with a more demure neckline. Maxima knows how to do volume and drama extremely well and I think that she would do this look up with amazing crown jewels to really make it the magical and regal moment that I know it has the possibility to be. European royals love them some of the regal designs of Elie Saab. We have seen Queen Maxima wear the label in the past, but just more along the lines of the Lebanese couturier’s casual ready to wear. I was watching the romantic medieval Elie Saab Fall 2017 Couture show and I came across this electric blue long sleeve gown which features gold embroidered lace and long sleeves and was immediately drawn to it. The gown is bound to have the European royals fighting over who can get their hands on it (has a war ever happened because of a gown before? I am just kidding,) but Queen Maxima was the first of the royals to pop into my head when I saw this gown. I think the reason it did so was because of its likeness to that royal blue Jan Taminiau gown that she wore for her coronation. As much as I love a good gown on a royal not everything that they do warrants a ballgown. Queen Maxima has a very chic sense of day wear in addition to her dramatic taste in evening wear. For his Resort 2018 collection for Fendi Karl Largerfeld showed some absolutely beautiful day wear and I think that this bold Barbie pink plaid suit with a cropped jacket and a pleated skirt dress would be another totally beautiful and bold daytime look for Queen Maxima. Maxima loves bold styles and color so I can see this Fendi suiting just fitting right in amongst the ranks of her royal wardrobe. Gucci is a label that Queen Maxima has favored in the past, but I think a lot of the recent collections have just been too out there for her to make any runway selections. I do think that this blue and yellow brocade suit which features embroidered bugs, a belted waist, and strong shoulders is definitely the biggest wish that I am making for Maxima to wear on her everyday style, but I think that this Gucci Fall 2017 RTW suit is also incredibly regal while still pushing fashion boundaries. This might be a perfect look for Queen Maxima to wear when she is touring a zoo or a gardens as it does have this obscure connection to nature. My final wish for Queen Maxima is for her to wear this blue and brown plain Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture dress and cape. This is a look that while I want the likes of Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, Naomie Harris, Dita Von Teese, or Nicole Kidman to wear this on a red carpet really does speak more royal wardrobe than celebrity red carpet. I do think that Maxima has proven herself a formidable stylista and she would carry this ensemble off with grace and ease.

”Kingsman: The Golden Circle” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

The promotional tour for Kingsman: The Golden Circle kicked off with a panel the San Diego Comic-Con last week, and I am really excited for the actual premieres of this film. I know that it will have a big gala world premiere in London, but not sure exactly where else in the world we will see any more premieres. The first installments of this series held another premiere in NYC so that is a possibility, but LA is the pinnacle for a major blockbuster film. The vibes of that red carpets in LA and NYC give are very different. We usually see much edgier and shorter looks in NY, and in LA we usually see more drama and glamour. That is why I tend to want to see movies premiere in LA over New York. Halle Berry has never been one of my favorite ladies to see on a red carpet. Her style has been stuck in the past and has never evolved as she has aged and matured. It usually comes across as trying too hard and recently has comes across as desperation. I hope that the sheer bodysuits and the micro-minis are nowhere to be seen over the course of this tour. If there is an LA premiere I would love to see Halle jump on the Dior-ient Express and rock this red pleated Christian Dior Resort 2018 gown which features crystal embellished straps. I think that this gown is a totally perfect way best dressed moment on the red carpet. The style of this gown is nothing new, but I think that it would be the perfect baby step for Halle to wear on this red carpet. Going chic with a romantic updo, smokey eye, nude lip, and a pair of strappy black Aquazzura ‘Amazon’ lace-up sandals would make this look perfection for Halle. Jenna Dewan Tatum plays the perfect plus one extremely well and I have this feeling we will be seeing a lot of her this fall as she walks the red carpet on the arm of hubby Channing Tatum at his several movie premieres this fall. The red carpet for Kingsman: The Golden Circle has the potential to be amazing and turn out a best dressed ensemble cast award winning promo tour and I cannot wait to see what all of the players bring to the red carpet. Jenna has some great style that goes from feminine and flirty to edgy and sultry. Today I picked my first gown for Jenna to wear on a red carpet supporting Channing this fall. First I picked a Zuhair Murad jumpsuit and then a Cushnie et Ochs cocktail dress (which I really want to see as a gown) and now I have this amazing ZAC Zac Posen gown for Jenna to rock on the red carpet at this premiere. I would love to see Jenna give this sultry and glamorous midnight blue ZAC Zac Posen Resort 2018 sequin gown which features spaghetti straps and sheer paneling a go for this premiere. We don’t see very much ZAC Zac Posen on the red carpet, but I think that the younger sister of the main Zac Posen label would make for a totally amazing look for Jenna. The gown sparkles so much but I would want to add just a little more with a pair of silver Christian Louboutin ‘Fliketta’ strappy glitter pumps, a navy satin clutch, and a pair of diamond and sapphire cluster earrings. Rounding the look out with a sleek updo, smokey eye, and a red lip I know that Jenna would absolutely beautiful. Julianne Moore is probably the one in this cast that I am most looking forward to seeing on the red carpet during the promo tour for Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Regular readers should know that Julianne Moore is one of my favorite ladies to see on the red carpet I am always really excited to see and with a big blockbuster tour ahead of her I am hoping that she just continues to blow me away. For the LA premiere of Kingsman: The Golden Circle I went to Dundas Resort 2018 and this amazing cobalt blue art deco embellished cutout gown which features a plunging neckline, long sleeves, and a column silhouette. Peter Dundas launched his eponymous label during Paris Couture Fashion Week and we have already seen stars start to rock the designs on the red carpet. I think that Julianne would looks so incredibly chic wearing this bold blue gown on the red carpet. I go back and forth on how I want the gown lined. I have thought with black sequins, then blue sequins, then with nude. I can honestly think that with a matching cobalt blue sequin lining under the black tulle would just add another layer of dimension to this look. I know that Julianne would definitely ensure that she brings all the presence that she has to really make this look amazing on the red carpet. Styling it with a sleek updo, smokey eye, red lip, diamond cluster earrings, and a pair of ink blue Aquazzura ‘Party Plateau’ embellished satin sandals would really turn this into one of Julianne’s best red carpet moments ever. While she has a role in Kingsman: The Golden Circle I wonder if we will see Poppy Delevinge making the rounds to help promote the film. Since there is such a major amount of star power I have begun to wonder if we will see the English model and socialite turned actress jet around the world to promote this film. She did attend all of the premieres for King Arthur earlier this year which she had a small role in, and she has been spotted at some of the premiere’s of sister Cara’s premiere’s for Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets so I am still holding out hope that she will deliver some beautiful looks on the red carpet. The core of Poppy’s style is definitely very bohemian glam and I totally embraced that with this pastel yellow, feathered Blumarine Resort 2018 long sleeve, off the shoulder gown. I totally think that this gown is chic and glamorous, but totally fits right into Poppy’s signature style. With some loose platinum blonde waves, smokey eye, glossy pink lip, a gold clutch, and a pair of gold embellished Gianvito Rossi ‘Opera’ ankle wrap sandals this would definitely be a perfectly accessorize this look for Poppy.

“Flatliners” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Flatliners is a remake of the 1990 psychological thriller of the same name and is totally star studded. I don’t know if I have any interest in seeing Flatliners, but a big LA red carpet premiere peaks my interest. Any bomb movie can entice me to watch it with a good promo tour, I think of Free Fire with Brie Larson comes to mind as one, and that may be the case here. Model turned actress Charlotte McKinney is one of the rising stars who are building their shine with this film and I am expecting that she will deliver something very dazzling and flashy on the red carpet for this premiere. Her first big film was the remake of Baywatch and she went with a much more simple and classic black gown than I would have expected her to wear. For this premiere I went with something sexy and flashy via this white and silver Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2017 RTW deep v-neck jumpsuit which features a allover sequin embellishment and bi-level bodice. This is the type of look that I expect from Charlotte. The bold stand out look that oozes sex appeal, but it does sex and flash in a way that is tame and not trashy. For a thriller premiere this is totally a perfect look and with a pair of silver Sophia Webster ‘Rosalind’ crystal heel sandals, slightly wavy locks, a smokey eye, and a white clutch Charlotte’s style star would continue to rise. Kiersey Clemons has really made a mark in the red carpet fashion world and with the help of stylist Jason Bolden she has captured some of the most lucrative brands. Since January we have seen Kiersey wear Diane von Furstenberg, Blumarine, Prabal Gurung, Marc Jacobs, and Zimmermann on red carpets and she has been bringing all different styles but always looks extremely chic. I am very interested in seeing what Kiersey will bring as she has this wide ranging style. One thing that Kiersey really does love when it comes to her red carpet looks is color and patterns. For this premiere I went firmly in the color territory with this very feminine and flirty pacific blue Cynthia Rowley Resort 2018 cocktail dress which features a deep V neckline, iridescent sequin design, and a voluminous tiered silhouette. We don’t see much of Cynthia Rowley on the red carpet but I think that Kiersey would look so chic wearing this gown on the red carpet. The dress might be a little standard BUT I think that Kiersey would incorporate her cool girl attitude with some funky Sophia Webster ‘Royalty’ velvet crown embellished sandals, collection of diamond rings, smokey eye, light pink glossy lip, and a full afro to really make this a fun red carpet moment. I honestly have high expectations for Nina Dobrev for this premiere. The former Vampire Diaries starlet is one of my favorite ladies to see on the red carpet and I am praying that she doesn’t let me down with this premiere. Of all of the members of this cast if anyone is going to bring the couture factor to the red carpet it will be Nina and I would love to see her rock this red and black rose embroidered brocade origami draped Ronald van der Kemp Fall 2017 Couture mini dress. Nina’s stylist isn’t usually one to jump into couture, but I think that dress totally fits Nina’s sense of style and that it would look ever so chic on the red carpet. I would add a pair of red Christian Louboutin ‘Crossbreche’ strappy suede pumps, sleek updo, smokey eye, nude lip, and a black box clutch to really make this a totally perfect look for Nina.
