Unlike most years I feel like the amount of movies that have large ensemble casts is heavily present at this years Tribeca Film Festival. This latest set of wishes is made up of the cast of one movie, and Jessica Chastain. I am really excited to see what the stars of Mary Shelly and Jessica (who is promoting Woman Walks Ahead) bring to the Tribeca Film Festival red carpets.Both of these films previously premiered back in September of 2017 at the Toronto International Film Festival. There are some great emerging style stars, young red carpet princesses, and of course one of the queens of the red carpet.
Back in Toronto rising red carpet princess Bel Powley opted to go short for the Mary Shelley premiere wearing a white long sleeve Alessandra Rich cocktail dress. It was cute enough, but I had higher expectations for her. I went longer for the films premiere at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, which is something you might not fully expect. I have to say that picking a right off the runway Gucci Fall 2018 RTW dress is a bit of a risk. The show was so over styled that it is hard to pick out the good from the bad from the hideous. I am trying to look past the sheer organza garment bag cape and the models third eye to see a really chic bubble gum pink strapless midi dress which features a pleated bodice. I cannot decide if the crystal statement necklace is part of the dress on a sheer yoke, or if it is a piece all on its own. I would love to see Alessandro custom design this as a strapless gown for Bel to rock on this red carpet, sans the necklace. I would love to see Bel take this dress style it with a romantic updo, defined eyes, dusty rose lips, and a pair of metallic light pink glitter Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pointed toe pumps to really make this a chic moment for the Tribeca Film Festival red carpet. 
It was back in 2014 during the Noah promo tour that I first learned who Douglas Booth was. He has a really sharp sense of style and I really want to see him bring a major menswear moment to the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival red carpet when he steps out with the cast of Mary Shelley to promote the film. At the Toronto Film Festival premiere of the film Douglas was rather classic in a black tuxedo with a black skinny tie, but he added some flair via a black and white silk scarf which was hung around his neck and tucked behind the lapels of the jacket to add just a pop of flair. For the Tribeca premiere of Mary Shelly I went for something a little more inherently visual via this black Alexander McQueen Fall 2018 Menswear suit which features red pinstripe details. I think that the classic shape of the suit is elevated with the red pinstriping and I think that the bright red deep v-neck jumper, crisp white shirt, and black tie with red embroidery is something that Douglas would be drawn to. Add a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Mortimer’ flats which feature an elegant cap toe and double buckle flap to really ensure red carpet menswear perfection. 
I always love an Elle Fanning moment on the red carpet. She is definitely well on her way to being on the level of Cate Blanchett, Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Sonam Kapoor, and Fan Bingbing. I am really excited what the next two months will bring as Elle heads to the Cannes Film Festival again as a face of L’Oreal. Before that she will be on the red carpet for the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Mary Shelley and I am hoping that she really delivers something major. She was cute in pale blush pink Alexander McQueen gown for the Toronto premiere, but I want to see her deliver bold color (which she doesn’t wear very often) with this red and cornflower blue Carolina Herrera Fall 2018 RTW pleated tulle ballerina midi gown which features multi-color tulle panels, a crew neckline, and a self tie ribbon belt at the waistline. I saw this bold colored gown which was light as air and immediately thought of Elle. It isn’t the typical gown I would think of for her, since she tends to prefer neutrals and pastels, but I think that she would definitely own this gown on the red carpet. I want to see her pair it with a sleek bun, defined winged eyes, a light pink lips, and a pair of red Prada block heel sandals to really ensure it is perfect for the Tribeca Film Festival red carpet. 
I have this feeling that between the promo tour for The New Mutants and the Tribeca Film Festival of Mary Shelley I am really excited to see Maisie Williams style really grow and glow. She has played second fiddle to other co-stars like Elle Fanning, Emilia Clarke, and Sophie Turner. Now I feel like it is time for her style star to rise. She was cute in a bold red Emporio Armani shorts ensemble for the Mary Shelley premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival, but I was kinda underwhelmed. It wasn’t what I was expecting to see from her on the red carpet. The Prada Fall 2018 RTW collection is another collection that you have to strip back to see the best parts of looks that can translate from runway to the red carpet. I think that Maisie should take the multi colored Prada Fall 2018 strapless origami top and and skirt and strip back all of the styling that the look was paired with on the runway for the Mary Shelley premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. It is a really chic moment and I think that if Maisie will pair it with a black ribbon waistband, an orange Prada saffiano leather wallet clutch, and a pair of black satin Gianvito Rossi ‘Rae’ sandals that it could be a really major moment for Maisie. A chic curled bob, defined eyes, and light pink lips would all add the perfect finishing touches to this really chic red carpet moment. 
Leaving the premiere of Mary Shelley behind the last wish I have for today is for the always gorgeous Jessica Chastain to wear for the premiere of Woman Walks Ahead. She gave me a real princess moment wearing a red Zuhair Murad tulle ballgown for the films premiere in Toronto, and I want to see her deliver a real moment at the Tribeca Film Festival. Tribeca isn’t a place for big gowns or often it isn’t a place for couture, but I think that if anyone could make a couture look work for the red carpet it would be Jessica. I think that she would shut down the red carpet wearing this black Armani Prive Spring 2018 Couture sleeveless sheath dress which features a sheer tulle yoke and a multi-tone 3D floral embroidered bodice and a bellow the knee length dress. I definitely think that between Jessica at Tribeca or someone at the Cannes Film Festival and Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock on the promo tour for Oceans 8 that this dress is going to get worn, and I definitely think that Jessica has what it takes to make this look work on the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival. I would add old Hollywood waves, a rose pink lip, simple defined eyes, and a pair of periwinkle blue satin Olgana Paris ‘Delicate’ pumps which feature a bow detail on the back of the heel to really ensure that this look is a truly major moment on the Tribeca Film Festival red carpet.
The 2018 Tribeca Film Festival will open Wednesday April 18, 2018 and run through Sunday April 29, 2018.
Jennifer Morrison is one of those who I know has great potential. Back in her early days on the red carpet when she supported her show House and when Once Upon A Time had just debuted I always looked forward to seeing what Jennifer was wearing. Since then I tend to find Jennifer trailing the middle of the pack. Not delivering worst dressed worthy looks, but also not delivering anything that I would place as a major moment either. When she steps out to promote her film Back Roads I would love to see her give something really chic with this rather standard and simple rich purple sleeveless Jenny Packham Pre-Fall 2018 draped sheath dress which features an asymmetrical beaded bodice, side split, and a layered skirt (for modesty.) This dress is definitely not a boundary pushing look, but I think that if the fit and the styling of it is 100% on point that it could still be one of Jennifer’s better looks as of late. I am hoping that with the star power that is in the line up for Back Roads that most of the stars of the film will show up to promote the film of the Tribeca Film Festival red carpet. One lady who almost always wows me when she steps out is Juliette Lewis. She gives a bold, yet feminine approach to dressing and for a quintessential New York film festival I am picking a quintessential New York designer, Zac Posen. I would love to see Juliette’s friend dress her in this tangerine peacock floral Zac Posen Fall 2018 RTW cocktail dress which 
Back when she first burst onto the scene with the Transformers: Age of Extinction promo tour back in 2014 I was really excited to see what the future had in store for Nicola Peltz, sadly I have been majorly underwhelmed. I want her to be the brightest star on the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Back Roads, but something already tells me I have set my standards too high. I did go to her favored color, black, and one of her favorite designers, Alexander Wang, to make up my wish for her to rock on this red carpet. Nicola was perched front row at the Alexander Wang Fall 2018 RTW show and I could definitely see her being intrigued by this black asymmetrical tuxedo inspired mini dress. I think that the sexy elegance of this look screams to Nicola’s style, and I think that with the right styling that it would be a really major moment. A
One of the films I am really excited to see on the red carpet during the Tribeca Film Festival is All About Nina, because I am really hoping that we will get some really major red carpet moments from menswear on the red carpet. I feel like this year there are a lot of great menswear stars who have films to promote, but I am really hoping that Common brings his absolute A game to the Tribeca red carpets. For the premiere of All About Nina I want to see Common deliver a really chic casual moment on the red carpet with this navy Ralph Lauren Spring 2018 Menswear double breasted linen suit which is paired with a navy jumper. It is a rather chic moment and I think that Common would make this for a really chic moment. While I appreciate the navy espadrilles that the look was paired with on the runway I would swap them with a pair of 
I am really excited to see Mary Elizabeth Winstead join Common on the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of All About Nina. I think that Mary would more than deliver this black Alexander McQueen Fall 2018 RTW sheath dress which features a sheer yoke, draped off the shoulder sleeves, a midi length, and a red phoenix embroidery which has a tail of long fringe on this red carpet. I feel like this dress is the perfect elevated cocktail moment for the red carpet in Tribeca. Of the whole cast I am most excited to see what the beautiful Anya Taylor-Joy will bring to the red carpet. She knows how to do major drama and glamour for the red carpet, but recently she has been more along the likes of lacy and tulle Dolce & Gabbana designs, and I have been really underwhelmed. Some of Anya’s best red carpet moments have come from when she has been on a red carpet in London and I am really hoping that she will deliver a really major moment when the film premieres in London. I would love to see Anya deliver glamour and drama via this black tulle Elie Saab Fall 2017 Couture tea length gown which features sheer detail, gold embroider, a velvet ribbon tied neckline, velvet belted waist, a-line skirt. This dramatic take on dark, romantic glamour is exactly what I think that Anya can do best. Compared to the rest of the looks I feel like this might seem like I have overdressed Anya, but I feel like that if anyone is going to bring the drama to this red carpet I feel like it will be her. Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton is one of the dudes whose taste in menswear definitely makes me take note. Sometimes I feel like he can come across as a little disheveled and sloppy, but when the pieces all fall into place it makes it really me take notice. For the London premiere of The New Mutants I think that Charlie should snatch this head to toe Coach 1941 Fall 2018 Menswear ensemble which features a navy two button suit and an espresso and navy printed button down shirt (which I rather like untucked) with the cognac leather boots . The bohemian edge of this look to me really speak to what we have seen from Charlie on the red carpet in the past. I am hoping that we see him on top form as he jets around the world to promote The New Mutants. Maybe his Stranger Things co-star and girlfriend Natalia Dyer will join him. 
I am really interested in seeing what Maisie Williams will bring to the red carpets. She knows how to do edge and glamour, and I want to see her really deliver a quirky, yet glam moment on the red carpet at The New Mutants premiere on her British home turf in London. I went for bold color and style with this neon lemon Natasha Zinko Fall 2018 RTW ballgown which features a strapless bustier bodice, a sweetheart neckline, and a bubble tiered a-line skirt. It would take a person that just oozes effortless glam on the red carpet to make sure that this gown doesn’t wear them. I think that Maisie has that effortlessness about her and that she would totally make this a chic, statement making moment. Add loose waves, a bold defined smokey eye, punchy pink lips, a 
Kathryn Newton is a rising star who made a big splash last year in Big Little Lies and then made cameos in a few movies including the Best Picture Oscar nominated film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Despite the fact that young people love her she played a really low profile red carpet game over the course of awards season. I am really excited to see what she will bring on Tuesday for the LA premiere of Blockers. I went really glam, yet young and flirty with this rose pink and lavender mixed sequin Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2018 slip gown for her to rock. She has been front row at a few of the Dior shows and I think that this would be the perfect opportunity to rock the brand on a real major movie premiere. I am going back and forth on whether this gown is too much for this premiere, but I do think that Kathryn will rock this gown. Add old Hollywood waves over one shoulder, a 
Leslie Mann loves a red carpet moment, and a big gown to boot. But for the LA premiere of Blockers I decided to shun a dress all together in favor of this really cool Naeem Khan Fall 2018 RTW ensemble which features a forest green short sleeve silk pussy bow blouse and a pair of black high waisted pants which features silver and gold sequined embroidery. This look is really chic and I think that for a movie like this that it would make for a really eye catching moment for the red carpet. Anya Taylor-Joy has already become a fashion darling catching the eyes of 
Charlie Heaton is one that I feel like has potential to be a real menswear style star, but often times I feel like he comes across as looking sloppy and thrown together. I want him to really deliver some moments on the red carpet at the LA premiere of The New Mutants. For a blockbuster premiere like this I think that the guys can go a little more casual than tuxedo glam on the red carpet, and I think that is exactly what Charlie will go for. I think he would be a good fit with Prada and I think that this ink blue Prada suit ensemble paired with a salmon pink and ink blue plaid button up and a pair of white and grey dad shoes (the hottest trend in footwear right now) would definitely be a real statement making moment for Charlie. Compared to the Dolce gown that I picked for Anya this is really the opposite end of the spectrum, but each look fits the wearers typical aesthetic. 
Former Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams has definitely been one who has taken the British fashion world by storm. She may not be the face of Dolce & Gabbana or Louis Vuitton like some of her former costars but she still knows how to really deliver a fun and quirky, yet glam moment on the red carpet. For the LA premiere of The New Mutants I went to a brand that has really embraced Maisie recently, Coach 1941. I really cannot believe how much I am loving Coach on the red carpet as of late. They have been delivering great looks on the red carpet from both the runway and custom designed. I think that Maisie would definitely rock this black and brown Coach 1941 Pre-Fall 2018 floral printed chiffon cap sleeve midi dress which features chic beaded embroidery and fringe. It gives a chic take on the American west and prairie and I definitely think that with the right styling that it would be ready for a major blockbuster movie premiere. Attico is a rising celeb favorite that we have already seen Katy embrace in the past. When I was flipping though the brands Fall 2018 collection I knew that there were definitely plenty of options for her to snatch. I picked my only strapless option here with this pink allover sequined ensemble which features a strapless peplum bodice and a pair of slim fit pants. I would actually keep the lookbook’s head to toe styling with the purple velvet wide buckle belt and the green Water Skake and yellow ostrich feathers mid heel stiletto slingback pumps.
The couture take on the tracksuit was seen all over the runways recently and I feel like we will definitely see Katy rock at least one over the course of the show. I feel like that she would be the perfect person to bring this bold colored sequin and bead embroidered Naeem Khan Fall 2018 RTW tracksuit to the stage.
