“Serenity” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Before I delve deep into wishes for all of the big upcoming awards season events I wanted to put out a few wishes for some movie premieres that are upcoming. Serenity is coming out soon and with the cast it has I have some good expectations for this red carpet. It will premiere in LA next Monday January 21, 2019 and I am crossing my fingers that the cast, and guests all bring their a-game to the red carpet. When Anne Hathaway stepped onto the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards wearing a cheetah print Elie Saab gown I just scratched my head. I have been scratching my head a lot when it comes to Anne’s style over the last year. I think she needs a new stylist. I just don’t think that her current stylist, Law Roach, vibes with her. Anne isn’t an avant garde fashion girl. She needs pretty gowns. I honestly don’t know who I would pair Anne with. Something tells me she could go to Micaela Erlanger if she wants to have princess moments. I also think that she could be really good if she moved to work with Leslie Fremar (who dresses Julianne Moore, Charlize Theron, and Jennifer Connelly.) I don’t see that stylist swap happening any time soon though. So I am just here hoping that Law and Anne really start to vibe soon. I think that the definitely would be the case with this blush pink Marchesa Pre-Fall 2019 high low cocktail dress which features a plunging v-neckline, all over sequin and bugle bread embellishments, and black floral appliques. This dress is flirty and feminine and I think that is totally Anne’s style. Pair it with a romantic updo, defined eyes, soft pink lips, a blush pink satin Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ crystal embellished bow clasp clutch, nude satin Rene Caovilla crystal embellished sandals, and gorgeous Ruwaya ‘Dancing Doll’ sliced pink sapphire and pave diamond floral chandelier earrings to ensure head to toe perfection. Camila Alves is the wife of the films star Matthew McConaughey and almost always delivers an absolutely major moment on the red carpet at all of his movie premieres. I want to see her join her husband on the red carpet premiere of Serenity deliver us nothing but glamour. I went for this simple black one shoulder Georges Hobeika Spring 2019 RTW column gown which feature gold beaded trimming and a side split for Camila. Sometimes she has worn gowns that are super over the top for Matthew’s premieres but I tend to really love Camila when she sticks to simpler styles. I think that this gown is a perfect look for a plus one and if she paired the look with a sleek updo, smokey eyes, soft pink glossy lips, a pair of black and gold Alexander McQueen color blocked sandals, and Hueb ‘Tribal’ yellow gold set diamond star burst cluster earrings I know that is exactly what she would be. Diane Lane found her life and her confidence in the wake of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. I have been really excited about her and her style and so I am really interested in seeing what she will wear on the red carpet at the LA premiere of Serenity next Monday. I won’t lie I originally had a simple lack Tadashi Shoji caped gown picked out for Diane to wear on this red carpet, but it just didn’t excite me. At the last second I decided to check the Cristina Ottaviano website and see if there was anything I wanted to see Diane wearing. That’s when I found this dark purple gown from the brands Spring 2019 RTW collection which features an asymmetrical neckline, one long sleeve, floral beading on one shoulder, a gradient column skirt, and a side split. I feel like this gown on Diane would be a major moment for her to bring to life on this red carpet. It is a little sexier than what we are used to seeing from Diane, but I know she has the body to really make this gown come to life. A sleek updo, smokey eyes, antique rose pink lips, a pair of graphite grey glitter Stuart Weitzman ‘Flicker’ strappy sandals, and Harry Kotlar diamond cluster earrings all would add the perfect finishing touches to this ensemble.

The LA premiere of Serenity is expected on Monday January 21, 2019.
