2020 Cannes Film Festival What Could Have Been Wish List: “Untitled Adam Leon Project”

Today rounds out all my 2020 Cannes Film Festival What Could Have Been wishes with a bang. According to Indiewire it can be hard to predict which young American filmmakers will be embraced by the Cannes selection committee, though it always seems to make sense in hindsight. The Safdie brothers? Of course. Jeff Nichols? Why not. David Robert Mitchell? It’s worth a shot. These directors only have so much in common, but — in the broadest of terms — their movies marry classical stylization with contemporary zeal. And “Tramps” director Adam Leon is as likely as anyone to join the club. Little is known about his untitled new film beyond the fact that it’s set in New York City, stars Vanessa Kirby, and features the “Hobbs & Shaw” actress in at least one big look. But the movie has been in the can for a minute, and would be a natural fit on the Croisette if it maintains even a fraction of the bouncy throwback energy that have made Leon’s previous work feel so fresh.I’ve given all kinds of looks I wanted to see Vanessa Kirby wear in Cannes this year. She had three films rumored to be in consideration for this year selection. All of the moments I’ve picked for Vanessa would have made for a major Cannes Film Festival debut. So for my final wishes I went to two very different looks that speak to opposite sides of Vanessa’s style starting with the bohemian side with this off white Tory Burch Fall 2020 RTW long sleeve prairie style maxi dress. We don’t often see Tory Burch looks on the red carpet or even for photocalls, but when I saw this dress I just imagined it being a light airy and breezy moment for Vanessa to wear on the photocall platform in Cannes overlooking the French Rivera despite the fact it is a fall look. I would make sure the styling is great so that it doesn’t feel like this look would wash Vanessa out. So I would add soft waves, defined eyes,  deep dusty antique rose pink lips, a pair of light gold Malone Souliers ‘Miranda’ ankle strap platform sandals, and a statement Tory Burch ‘Roxanne’ pale green and peach resin and glass necklace to really have pulled this look together perfectly. Now for the premiere I decided to go the custom route for Vanessa. I would have LOVED to see her turn to one of her favorite designers Tom Ford to create a custom gown out of this major ombre rose pink to fuchsia sequin maxi skirt from the Tom Ford Fall 2020 RTW collection. Turning this skirt into a strapless fit to flare gown with a sweeping train would be one of the most dazzling Tom Ford gowns to walk the red carpet in a really long time. Tom hasn’t created a custom gown for Cannes in the past and that really surprises me. We’ve seen his off the rack looks in Cannes, but this would have been the first custom gown. This isn’t a typical Tom Ford red carpet look. When he creates custom looks for the red carpet he doesn’t often use bold color except for the very rare red, sapphire blue, or emerald green. This look would have been DAZZLING. Styled with a pair of metallic fuchsia Gucci ‘Crawford’ braided knot slingback peep toe pumps, a sleek updo, smokey eyes, bright pink lips, and a statement white diamond Messika High Jewelry ‘Beloved Feather’ asymmetric open collar necklace I know that Vanessa’s Cannes debut would have been perfection. I always have high expectations for Amber Heard. I know the potential that she has to bring major moments to life on the red carpet. When she brings the sexy glamour to the red carpet I always fall madly in love with her red carpet looks. So when I was picking looks for Cannes I decided to make sure that the hyper sexy glam was on full display opting for this black and white Elie Saab Fall 2020 RTW long sleeve sheer column gown covered in black feathers and white pearls and features a bodysuit worn underneath, a plunging neckline, defined waist, side split, and an ankle length. I definitely think that Amber’s presence and usual pose on the red carpet would definitely have made sure this look is perfection. Now while I usually would go for Elie Saab’s Couture collections for Cannes this look was definitely worthy of a red carpet moment at the festival. A sleek retro updo, defined smokey eyes, bold matte red lips, a pair of black patent leather and clear PVC Christian Louboutin ‘Just Nodo’ bow detail mule sandals, and asymmetrical white diamond Messika High Jewelry ‘Shahrâzâd’ broken glass inspired earcuffs would have made this look the definition of sensual glamour from head to toe. Chopard ambassador Catrinel Marlon is gorgeous and I wanted to see her bring DRAMA to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. I’m hoping that some of the brands whom spend so much to send their friends to Cannes might send them to some of the fall film festivals that are, for now, planning to go ahead. The first look I picked for her was a super glam Sebastian Gunawan gown and now I turn to another left of usual brand, Pronovias. The Spanish fashion label sent two versions of this dramatic midnight blue ruffled gown down the runway to close its 2020 Bridal Couture show last April. Honestly I am surprised no one snatched this gown up for last years Cannes Film Festival, but it would have made for a major moment this year on Catrinel. Had she snatched up this gown I would have loved to see Catrinel make this look even more major that the gown is on its own with a sleek updo, defined eyes, bold red lips, a pair of customized Jimmy Choo ‘Pattie’ peep toe platform sandals made in midnight blue satin, and a MAJOR Chopard Red Carpet Collection white diamond and sapphire collar necklace. Nieves Alvarez was supposed to head to Cannes this year once again as the guest of Bulgari. The Spanish supermodel has some of my favorite Cannes moments thanks to looks from Ralph & Russo, Elie Saab, and Stephane Rolland. In a follow up to my first wish for Nieves to wear in Cannes this year, a major ruffled Giambattista Valli Couture moment, with an equally as major archive couture moment. I’ve longed to see this copper orange asymmetrically draped Stephane Rolland Spring 2011 Couture strapless gown on the red carpet since it was first presented nine years ago. There aren’t many who would really push through this avant garde couture moment making it the major moment I am craving and I know that Nieves would have been able to bring it to life with effortless ease. She knows how to sell these kind of moments and I just can imagine this gown come to life on her especially styled with a sleek updo, defined eyes, matte rose pink lips, a pair of nude Christian Louboutin ‘So Me’ studded simple ankle strap sandals, and a beautiful vintage Bulgari necklace with carnelian intaglio and diamonds that Olivia Wilde wore to the 2016 Golden Globes.

2020 Cannes Film Festival What Could Have Been Wish List: “Bergman Island”

In today’s “What Could Have Been” wish list we are talking about a semi-autobiographical drama about a film making couple who retreat to Ingmar Bergman’s resting place in order to write their next scripts and then slowly lose sight of the line between fiction and reality. Mia Hansen-Løve’s Bergman Island has been at the top of Indiewire’s “most anticipated” list since the project was first announced with Greta Gerwig in the lead role. The film, which Hansen-Løve described to IndieWire as a story about “how film tends to replace my memories of what really happened,” has the potential to be something of a crossover arthouse hit for one of modern cinema’s most consistently brilliant auteurs, whose previous work (such as Eden, Things to Come, and Goodbye First Love) has found deep American fan bases despite limited distribution. Shot in two parts and co-starring Mia Wasikowska, Anders Danielsen Lie, Tim Roth, and Vicky Krieps, Bergman Island finally wrapped filming in the middle of the last summer. Given the project’s high profile and its connection to one of European cinema’s greatest titans, this would be a natural (if long overdue) opportunity to let Hansen-Løve graduate from the sidebars and invite her into the main Competition at Cannes. When Mia Wasikowska made her major red carpet debut at the London premiere of Alice In Wonderland wearing a major Valentino Haute Couture ball gown I got really excited about the birth of a new fashionista. It hasn’t exactly come to fruition the way I was expecting. She is definitely a fashionista, but often time she doesn’t breathe a whole lot of life into the looks she wears on the red carpet. For the Bergman Island photocall in Cannes I decided to go for bight colors with this lemon peel yellow and sorbet lime Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2020 midi dress which features origami cap sleeves, an angular neckline, center split, and mid calf length. This dress super chic and definitely ready for the ocean front balcony that photocalls are held at. I would let this look be super effortless with a loose wavy bob, defined eyes, soft pink lips, and a pair of simple nude Aquazzura ‘Deneuve’ suede pointed toe pumps. For the films premiere I decided to stick with the effortless vibes, but upping the glam factor with this nude Armani Prive Fall 2019 Couture strapless which features a nude satin column gown embroidered with bead and a pearl embellishments overlaid with a crystal embellished pleated tulle layer which turns into a sweeping train. I wouldn’t normally pick a nude gown for Mia as she doesn’t like to do a while lot with makeup and accessories, but this gown just spoke to me as the perfect effortless moment for her and so I had to stick to my gut. Now that being said I would style the look simply, but in a manner that really elevates the fashion moment with a loose curly romantic updo, defined eyes, bright pink lips, a pair of crystal embellished nude suede Vera Brezhneva x Aquazzura ‘Very Vera’ ankle strap sandals, and a pop of color via 18k gold set emerald and white diamond Bulgari High Jewelry drop earrings. It would make for a super effortlessly glamorous moment for Mia to bring to life on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. I took note of Vicky Krieps a couple of years ago when she wore a gorgeous Alexander McQueen strapless bustier lace a-line gown for the premiere of Phantom Thread. So when I saw her name in the billing for Bergman Island I was intrigued. She has that effortless French elegance and tends to stick to labels shown at Paris Fashion Week. So I decided to pick two looks from labels Vicky has favored for red carpets in the past. For the films photocall I went for a classic suiting moment from the Alexander McQueen Resort 2020 collection in bold hot pink. It is definitely a super chic moment and one that would definitely allow for Vicky to catch the eye of the international fashion media. Now while the lookbook was styled with chunky necklaces, no blouse, and white sneakers I would up the glamour instead styling this suit with a white silk Alexander McQueen pussy bow shirt and statement fuchsia and hot pink satin Roger Vivier beaded detail 3D floral appliqued pointed toe pumps. Finishing the look with a loose causal updo, defined eyes, and soft pink lips would definitely make this a perfect photocall moment for Vicky. Now for the premiere I went with something a little more unexpected than we are used to seeing on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, a tea length gown. Chanel has been very nice to Vicky over the years lending her looks for red carpets like the Deauville American Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival so I turned to the label for her premiere look. I do love this strapless navvy 3D floral embroidered tea length gown from the Chanel Spring 2020 Couture collection. It was one of the only looks from the collection that got me really excited for a potential red carpet moment. Now I definitely see this as a look destined for Keira Knightley, but I feel like for Vicky this would be a superb fashion moment for her to wear for her big premiere at the festival especially if styled with a sleek side parted chignon updo, defined eyes, punchy pink lips, a pair of black Roger Vivier ‘Marlene’ strass ball detailed ankle strap sandals, and a statement Chanel Haute Jewelry ‘1932’ white diamond layered fringe collar necklace. Given all the drama surrounding Amber Heard I am not sure the L’Orealista would even be in Cannes this year. I have been up and down with my love of Amber on the red carpet, but I always have high hopes that she will be on tip top form. I think that would definitely be the case if we were to see her take to the red carpet at the Palais de Festivals wearing this black feathered Christian Dior Fall 2019 Couture ball gown which features an embroidered tulle sweetheart neckline bustier and a single one shoulder tulle strap. This look was one of my favorite looks to come down the Fall 2019 Couture runways and it definitely needs an international red carpet. I think that Amber would make this gown that major moment I know it could be. Style it with a sleek updo, smokey eyes, bold red lips, black suede Jimmy Choo ‘Mimi’ strappy sandals, and a selection of major de Grisogono jewels including rubellite and cylindrical cut onyx pendant drop earrings and a statement matching rubellite and eight cylindrical cut onyx cocktail ring and I know that Amber would definitely be on top of her style game. Soo Joo Park has a very eclectic sense of style and I always look forward to seeing what she will bring to the red carpet. So when I was thinking of what we could see her bring to life on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet to represent festival sponsor L’Oreal Paris. So I went to the absurd side of glamour picking this back Schiaparelli Fall 2020 RTW ballgown which features a stretch leather bodysuit with embossed bone effect and a faille skirt with elasticated waistband. It isn’t something we would typically expect to see on a red carpet, especially not in Cannes, but I feel like Soo Joo would definitely make this gown fit in perfectly with the yards of tulle and literal tons of crystal beading. A chic updo, thick defined eyes, dark red lips, a pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Catia’ strappy sandals, and a gorgeous white diamond and emerald de Grisogono spiral collar necklace would make this a major style moment for Soo Joo to bring to life.

After today I am navigating uncharted waters. This set of wishes for looks that came down the runways of Paris Fashion Week a few weeks ago really finishes out all my immediate wishes for the Fall 2020 RTW runway season. Overall I have been really impressed and honestly sad at the thought that due to the COVID-19 crisis that many of these looks will end up lost to the archives of fashion history. Even if this list is the only place we will ever get to enjoy the idea of these looks on a red carpet then so be it. At least in this time of crisis we are able to maintain a sense of fantasy when reality is do bleak.

2020 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala Red Carpet Wish List

The 2020 Art of Elysium HEAVEN Gala is a one night artistic installation conceptually curated by a chosen Visionary. The Visionary is annually selected based upon their creative contribution to the community and this year is We Are Hear which is a Los Angeles based record label, music publisher, and artist management company founded by producers Linda Perry and Kerry Brown. This elegant black tie affair is held annually the night before the Golden Globes and promises an unparalleled creative experience, rooted in our mission and representing the spirit of our diverse artistic disciplines. The theme of this years HEAVEN Gala is HEAVEN IS ROCK AND ROLL and will feature performances by Dave Grohl, Cheap Trick, Marilyn Manson, and more. So when I was picking looks for the celebrity members of the different donor circles for the event I definitely kept that idea of rock and roll glam in mind. I definitely think that the seven looks in this set of wishes definitely speak to rock and roll while still befitting a black tie gala red carpet.

2019 Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 5

We are getting closer to the last of my 2019 Teen Choice Awards wishes. Honestly I haven’t been able to confirm as many attendees this year as I like to, but that doesn’t mean that there are plenty of possibilities when it comes to who could pop up on this red carpet or on the stage at this years Teen Choice Awards. I want to see this be the most fashON Teen Choice Awards ever and in today’s wishes are five ladies who I know would bring that major fashion factor to the red carpet. Amber Heard is nominated for Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy Movie Actress for her performance in Aquaman. I go back and forth with Amber and her style. I know she has the potential to deliver major fashion moments, but often I feel like she gets lost in over-styling. I want to see her bring something sexy, dazzling, and fun to the red carpet which is why I picked this gunmetal silver Balmain Resort 2020 sleeveless mini dress which features sequined embroidery throughout, and a black and red fringe trim hem for her to bring to life on this red carpet. Now Amber isn’t a “Teen” anymore and she is a big movie star so I don’t know if she would actually rock the red carpet, but this look is definitely ready for the stage if she doesn’t. A sleek slicked back hairstyle, defined eyes, red lips, a pair of strappy black Christian Louboutin ‘Filamenta’ mesh detail pointed toe platform d’Orsay pumps, and chic Anita Ko ‘Rain Drop’ diamond fringe earrings would definitely make this the perfect look for Amber to bring to life at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. I have to say I really don’t believe that Constance Wu will be at the Teen Choice Awards this weekend, but since she is nominated for Choice Comedy Movie Actress thanks to her role in Crazy Rich Asians I decided to include her in my wishes anyway. Because why not? I decided to go for a bright fun moment with this aqua Zuhair Murad Resort 2020 long sleeve ruched mini dress which features a v-neckline, ruffled details, lace panels, and a belted waist as it just screams fun, flirty, and sexy moment for Constance to bring to the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards. To finish this look in a really chic and sophisticated way I could style the dress with sleek center parted locks tucked behind the ears, defined eyes, coral-y pink lips, a pair of gold Gianvito Rossi ‘Plexi’ metallic leather and PVC pointed toe pumps, and chic Mizuki 14-karat gold, freshwater pearl, and diamond drop earrings. Also if Constance doesn’t wear this for the Teen Choice Awards it would be a really great press stop option for her to wear promoting her upcoming movie Hustlers. Hailee Steinfeld has a lot of competition in the Choice Action Movie Actress category, but seeing as she is the closest in the category to being a “teen” I would still love to see her on this red carpet. She knows how to serve looks and I feel like while this back and navy Giorgio Armani Fall 2019 RTW ensemble which features a strapless bodice, leather pleated peplum belted waist, and high waisted cropped pants with origami fold pockets isn’t a typical look I would expect to see on the Teen Choice Awards red carpet I definitely think that Hailee would sell it to me. All these wishes are elevated versions of the looks I feel like we could see on this red carpet, but they just pack a little extra punch. I also think that who is wearing a certain look influences how that look comes across. I think that Hailee has the effortless diva presence to really bring this look to life on this red carpet especially if paired with a sleek high donut bun, defined eyes, dark rose pink lips, a pair of ice blue glitter Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Miri’ pearl detail chunky heel pointed toe pumps, and geometric Nikos Koulis sapphire and blue diamond earrings. I have to say out of all the ladies on today’s list I think that Lady Gaga is the least likely to be on the red carpet at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. This really doesn’t seem like her crowd, but if she wins for Choice Drama Movie Actress or any of the other three awards she is nominated for I would hope that she would at least sneak in the back door to accept the awards on stage. If she does attend this event on Sunday night I would love to see her do so in edgy princess style wearing this Cinderella blue Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2019 high low gown which features an asymmetrical off the shoulder neckline, leather belted waist, and a rise and fall raw edge handkerchief hemline. I went straight for the over the top glamour moment for Gaga because that is just who she is. I definitely think that if anyone could make this dress work for the Teen Choice Awards it is her. On just about anyone else I would typically say that this dress is too much for this red carpet, but it is Gaga we are talking about. She is the embodiment of #WhenInDoubtBeExtra. I would style the look with the lookbooks black Alexander McQueen crystal jeweled bangle sandals adding a vintage inspired updo, defined winged eyes, red lips, and simple Djula ‘Eclat’ diamond drop stud earrings to really ensure that this look is pristine Gaga at her most glamorous. Finishing out today’s wishes is probably the most likely person on this list to walk the Teen Choice Awards red carpet: Zendaya. This girl is a queen when it comes to fashion and I definitely want to see her bring a major fashON moment to this red carpet on Sunday night. She is nominated for Choice Summer Movie Actress for her performance in Spider-Man: Far From Home and I can definitely see her taking home the surfboard. I would absolutely love to see her do so wearing this Monse Resort 2020 ensemble which features a black and beige striped one sleeve scarf detailed silk chiffon blouse and a khaki and cream two tone cotton twill button detail mini skirt. This look defines everything I love about Monse as it meshes the feminine and the masculine in a way that just reads uber sophisticated. It delivers the ‘Borrowed From The Boys’ trend in the most glamorous and feminine of ways. Finishing this look with a sleek high bun, defined eyes, antique rose pink lips, black suede Jimmy Choo ‘Lancer’ strappy pointed toe pumps, and a pair of Marco Bicego ‘Africa Constellation’ 18-karat yellow gold and diamond disc stud earrings would ensure that Zendaya definitely owns the fashON moments of this red carpet.

The 2019 Teen Choice Awards will take place on Sunday August 11, 2019.

Cannes 2019: L’Orealista’s Red Carpet Wish List Part 5

We are getting close to the close of my L’Orealista wishes for this years Cannes Film Festival. The L’Orealista duties include looking beautiful and promoting glamour on the red carpet at the festival. They are there to promote the beauty brand and I get excited every time I see them. Given all the major fashion moments that have appeared on runways and lookbooks I am super excited about what the potential for major red carpet moments are! Amber Heard made her L’Orealsita debut in Cannes last year where she went dark princess in Valentino RTW and fashion risk-taker in a Giambattista Valli Couture mini dress for her two turns on those famed red carpeted steps. I honestly wasn’t expecting either look. She was working with stylist Karla Welch last year, but she just started working with Jennifer Lopez and Hailee Steinfeld stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn with the look she wore for her Tribeca Film Festival premiere. I definitely believe that Rob & Mariel could really deliver amazing looks for the Cannes Film Festival red carpet to make sure that Amber delivers major moments on this red carpet. I haven’t fallen in love with anything Amber has worn in the last several months so I am hoping that she delivers major moments in Cannes. Since Amber did take the short dress risk last year (a gown is typically considered a ‘requirement’ for the Cannes red carpet) I decided I wanted to pick a major look for her to deliver that doesn’t fit into the ‘required’ box. So I turned to this uber sleek, sexy, and glamorous Armani Prive Spring 2019 Couture strapless jumpsuit which features a major plunging neckline, skinny pants, and a flared cuff on the pant. It is super sexy but incredibly glamorous and I definitely think that it is something Amber could easily shut down on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. It would be perfectly styled with a sleek vintage inspired updo, defined eyes, bold red lips, a pair of black lace Christian Louboutin ‘Mariee A Colmar’ peep toe slingback booties, and a selection of black and white diamond de Grisogono jewels including ‘Ventaglio’ drop earrings and the ‘Gocce’ cocktail ring. As I was planning my custom looks for this years Cannes Film Festival I initially had a custom Atelier Versace as my initial option, but when Evita asked me what I was thinking and I was looking at inspiration for this look I saw this magenta and blush Atelier Versace Spring 2019 Couture ruffled ballgown which features a strappy low back, plunging neckline, a mini skirt under the ball skirt, and a dramatic train and I knew it was perfect for Amber to bring to life on this red carpet. It is definitely a Cannes moment and I believe that Amber has the effortless sex appeal to make it a beautiful moment especially if styled with a romantic updo, defined eyes, matching magenta lips, blush pink Jimmy Choo ‘Sereno’ crystal buckle sandals, and pink rubellite and diamond de Grisogono disc earrings. The final look I’ve picked for Amber is that major old Hollywood glam moment via this dark emerald green velvet Galia Lahav Fall 2019 Couture draped wrap style gown which features puffy mid-length sleeves, a plunging v-neck, thigh high split, and a dramatic train. This look needs old Hollywood waves, smokey eyes, red lips, a pair of dark green glitter Saint Laurent ‘Amber’ sandals, and a major set of de Grisogono emerald and diamond jewels including a statement collar necklace, matching earrings, and a matching cocktail ring. It all would ensure that Amber has an amazing Cannes fashion run. Camila Cabello was announced as a L’Orealista last year, but due to her tour schedule with Taylor Swift last year is was unable to attend the Cannes Film Festival. So I am really excited to hope that she will jet to the south of France for her first turn at the festival. Camila isn’t exactly my favorite star when it comes to style. She tends to pick looks that remind me of what a 15 year old girl would wear for her quinceanera. About a year ago Camila swapped stylists and started working with Karla Welch and her style has gotten marginally better, but it definitely still has a lot of room for improvement. I decided to pick three looks that I definitely think that Camila would be drawn to, but that I think would elevate her style to the perfect Cannes worthy wardrobe. Up first is a gown you have seen several times on this blog if you are a regular reader. This black Armani Prive Fall 2018 Couture strapless ballgown which features a velvet bustier, hot pink netting ruffle on the waist, and a full ostrich feather covered ball skirt has been one of my favorite Armani Prive looks since it first came down the runway last July. I do have a feeling that it will be optioned for Monday’s Met Gala, but if not I definitely think it wold be a perfect look for Camila to wear for her Cannes debut. It is fun, dramatic, and flirty moment that I think Camila could deliver on the Cannes red carpet especially if paired with a sleek updo, smokey eyes, blush pink lips, black satin ribbon ankle strap Christian Louboutin ‘Sandale Du Desert’ sandals, and a pair of statement ruby, pink sapphire, and black diamond Wendy Yue floral scroll drop earrings. I kept the glamour going for Camila to deliver on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet picking this bold red silk Elie Saab Fall 2017 Couture ballgown which features thick straps, a thigh high split, and a sweeping train. This is another gown I am shocked hasn’t been worn yet, but I think is perfect for Camila to deliver on the Cannes red carpet. This gown is a major old Hollywood glamour moment and I think that is what Camila needs to really make me take note of her style. Old Hollywood waves, defined eyes, red lips, a pair of red and pink satin Jimmy Choo ‘Lalia’ knotted sandals, and Chopard Red Carpet Collection diamond and ruby chandelier earrings to really make this look perfect for Camila in Cannes. The final look I’ve picked for Camila is much more easy and breezy with this turquoise water print Zuhair Murad Spring 2019 Couture goddess style gown. This gown which features plunging neckline, thigh high split, cape sleeves, and a flowing skirt is very in vibe with the breezy glamour of Cannes and I feel like it is a great look for Camila to finish out her Cannes journey especially if paired with a romantic updo, defined eyes, soft pink lips, silver Christian Louboutin ‘Degrastrass PVC’ pointed toe pumps, and a pair of major white diamond and emerald Lorraine Schwartz drop earrings. When it comes to style I got back and forth on my feelings about Emily Ratajkowski. She is either really good or really band, and she has delivered both on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in the past. If we see Emily head to Cannes for this years festival I am definitely hoping that she delivers nothing but amazing top notch moments. Sexy, glamorous, and effortless. Those are what come to mind when I think of Emily’s style when she delivers major moments on the red carpet. So starting off I picked a super sexy and glamorous red custom Atelier Versace strapless column gown which features a plunging sweetheart neckline, all over intricate beaded embroidery, and a long train. I definitely love this gown which was inspired by a vintage Atelier Versace bralet from the 1990’s. It evokes that classic Versace style, but in a very modern and glamorous way. A sleek high ponytail, winged eyes, red lips, red Aquazzura ‘Swing’ PVC trimmed patent leather slingback sandals, and a chic ruby and diamond Bulgari necklace would finish this look beautifully. Emily helped debut Peter Dundas eponymous line at the Cannes Film Festival back in 2017. Unfortunately that look wasn’t well received and ended up on my Worst Dressed of 2017 list. It was just wayyyyyyyyy too much. I decided to turn back to the label to create a custom look for Emily to wear this year using a black Dundas embroidered lace up top from the Fall 2018 collection as the starting point for the look. In this image you cant really see all the intricate embroidery and mirrored embellishment on the bodice in this photo but it gives this very bohemian gothic vibe. I decided to add glamour to the look pairing it with a crystal embellished mini tiered ruffle ball skirt with a dramatic train. I updated the bodice to have the a little thicker of strap than the thin spaghetti straps that the original bustier had to really make it chic. I think that pairing this gown with a romantic updo, defined eyes, red lips, a pair of black Aquazzura ‘Milos’ PVC detail strappy cage sandals, and a statement emerald, amethyst, turquoise, and pavé diamond Bulgari ‘Roaring 80’s’ collar necklace would make this look perfection. The final look I’ve chosen for Emily is an absolutely uber glam Jean Louis Sebaj Spring 2019 Couture strapless gown which features a pink lame column skirt and a black velvet train attached from the asymmetrical bodice. This isn’t a typical look that I would think of when it comes to EmRata’s style, but I absolutely believe that she has the effortless glamour to really make this such a chic moment on the red carpet. Pair it with black Aquazzura ‘Purist’ sandals, a romantic updo, smokey eyes, nude lips, and a statement Bulgari diamond collar necklace to ensure that all of Emily’s Cannes moments are incredibly major and glamorous. Jennifer Lopez has been connected with L’Oreal for a long time, but she has never really done a full Cannes. Despite that fact every year I have picked wishes for her to wear on the red carpet at the festival. I want to see Jennifer finally jet to the south of France for Cannes because I know that she would totally own the red carpet at the festival. I’ve picked three very different looks for Jennifer to wear if she does rock her first Cannes this year. First is the princess moment thanks to this nude Elie Saab Spring 2019 Couture strapless ballgown which features a fan ruffled neckline, intricate beaded embroidery, and a sweeping train. I know that Jennifer loves a princess moment here and there, and I definitely think that she would deliver this moment in a very chic and glamorous way. A sleek high bun, smokey eyes, nude glossy lips, a pair of tan satin Christian Louboutin ‘Nosy’ embellished t-strap pointed toe pumps, and vintage gold set Harry Winston diamond cluster earrings all would make this a major princess moment to bring to life in Cannes. The second look I’ve picked for Jennifer is much more of a fashion moment. As soon I saw this eggshell feathered caped top  and florescent orange high waisted wide leg pants from Valentino’s Spring 2019 Couture collection while watching the show on livestream I fell in love with it. This look is the perfect meshing of a vintage inspired vibe, but in a modern manner. It has the potential to be that super star style moment and if anyone can deliver that on a red carpet it is JLo. The look itself is such a statement that I would just add a sleek high ponytail, smokey eyes, antique rose pink lips, an orange Edie Parker ‘Jean’ marbled acrylic clutch, a pair of florescent orange Casadei ‘Blade Fluo’ pointed toe stiletto pumps, and Harry Winston jewels including a pair of large diamond ear clips and a diamond wreath bracelet to finish it off perfectly for a Cannes red carpet. The final look is the most typical JLo moment out of all these looks. This Caribbean blue Zuhair Murad Spring 2019 Couture strapless column gown which features an asymmetrical ruffle on the hip, a belted waist, and thigh high split is something that I can see Jennifer rocking on just about any red carpet she would walk. It fits the glamour of Cannes, but in more of a simplistic manner than the other two looks (a maximalist simplicity) and would be made head to toe perfection with old Hollywood waves, smokey eyes, bright pink lips, a silver crystal embellished Christian Louboutin ‘Palme’ clutch, and a pair of silver studded Christian Louboutin ‘Jamais Azzez’ PVC t-strap sandals, and Harry Winston diamond waterfall earrings. Finishing out today are three voluminous moments for Spanish actress Paz Vega to deliver on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. There was a time a few years back when I would think of Paz in Cannes and get super excited. She even topped my Best Dressed of the Year list one year with an amazing feathered Stephane Rolland Couture gown. Unfortunately the last 2 years of style choices Paz has delivered have been less than exciting. A lot of hit has to do with her terrible hairstyle. I am hoping that changes, or the styling at least changes, if we see her jet off to the French Riviera for the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. Since I know what potential that Paz has to deliver major moments it was rather easy to choose looks for her to bring to life on the red carpet. I started with one of my favorite looks from the Elie Saab Fall 2018 Couture collection with this ombre purple off the shoulder tulle ball gown which features a sheer long sleeves, a sweetheart neckline under the sheer overlay, a velvet waistband, and 3D crystal embellished floral appliques for Paz. For this collection Mr. Saab drew inspiration from Barcelona and to me when I was thinking of what to pick from the label for Paz to wear in Cannes this gown just made sense. Pair it with a sleek updo, defined eyes, soft pink lip, rose pink glitter Gianvito Rossi ‘Portofino’ sandals, and Chopard amethyst waterfall earrings. The second look I’ve picked for Paz is one that just walked the runway during Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week. I was on Instagram and I saw this navy blue Pronovias Atelier ‘Voyager’ gown and I fell in love. I was really getting into the go big or go home mentality of Cannes when I saw this gown and knew immediately that I had to pull it for Paz. I cannot recall her ever wearing a Pronovias design on the red carpet, but what better gown would it be to give her that first moment with the brand? This ruffled ballgown is definitely a statement I would keep the styling rather simple with a sleek vintage inspired updo, defined eyes, red lips, a pair of navy satin Rene Caovilla pointed toe pumps, and Chopard diamond and sapphire drop earrings. I couldn’t pick looks for Paz to wear on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet and not pick a single look from Stephane Rolland. The designer is one of my favorites when it comes to avant garde designs, but for Paz I decided to go with more of a classic look picking this tan Stephane Rolland Spring 2019 Couture gown which features a silk draped bodice with a plunging neckline and a tulle ball skirt. I will say that I went back and forth on whether Paz could actually sell this gown to me, but ultimately I think that she has the effortless presence to make it work. It will just the the right styling. I think a bohemian updo, smokey eyes, nude glossy lips, a pair of champagne crystal embellished Jimmy Choo ‘Lane’ sandals, and Chopard Green Carpet Collection fair-mined gold wreath earrings that this would be an incredibly chic moment for Paz to deliver on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.

The 2019 Cannes Film Festival opens Monday May 13, 2019 and runs through Saturday May 25, 2019.

2019 Tribeca Film Festival Red Carpet Wish List

I wanted to do wishes for all of the premieres at this years Tribeca Film Festival complete with detailed descriptions and styling, but between my job, my house being on the market, and planning custom gowns for my Met Gala wishes I just haven’t had the time. So instead I wanted to make sure I put out look wishes at least. Typically Tribeca is one of the more laid back of the film festivals, but Karen Gillan made a glamorous wave wearing custom Valentino at last years festival and made my Best Dressed of the Year list. So I am hoping that other stars take Karen’s style as a direction and up their glam game for this years edition. Less business formal more couture glaMORE.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival will open on Wednesday April 24, 2019 and run through Sunday May 5, 2019.

2019 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 13

We are getting close to the final wishes that I have for this years red carpet, but not quite yet. I have this set of six and then one more post headed your way with six more. I just put together the spreadsheet I create every year so that I can keep track of who everyone is wearing on Globes night and I put 116 names on that list, and there are always people that show up that I never would have thought of. I am really praying that we have an absolutely major red carpet tomorrow night. The glamour in my soul tells me that while last years red carpet was historic for its blackout protest, that this year is going to be the most glamorous year in the history of the Golden Globe Awards red carpet. Coming off her promo tour for Aquaman, which I really was not a fan of, Amber Heard is going to be one of the nights many presenters tomorrow night. I go up and down with Amber. She does glamour really well when she tries, but she also likes to try and be edgy. That edgy side of her really started when she was dating and married to Johnny Depp. I want the bombshell Amber back on the red carpet and so for tomorrow nights red carpet I chose this teal liquid silk velvet Ralph & Russo Fall 2018 Couture strapless gown which features a structured bodice and draped skirt with thigh-high slit, embellished with an intertwining gold twisted crystal and chain cord. The gown reminds me a lot of the signature Vivienne Westwood Couture corseted bustier gowns, but I think that wouldn’t deter Amber from wearing this creation. In fact I know from Vivienne Westwood looks that she has worn in the past that this gown would look fantastic on her. The styling needs to be kept very femme fatale adding a sleek vintage inspired updo, winged eyes, bold red lips, a pair of gold Nicolas Kirkwood ‘Mira Pearl’ sandals, and Buccellati ‘Étoilée’ 18k gold and diamond pendant earrings to really ensure that this moment is  absolutely perfect for Amber. Anne Hathaway has a movie, Serenity, coming out later this month so it comes as no surprise to me that she has been asked to come back to the Golden Globe Award this year as one of the nights many presenters. This will be her sixth time attending the Golden Globe Awards and of those previous five appearances two have been in Armani Prive. So I decided to turn back to the label for the perfect gown for Anne to wear on this years red carpet. She really let me down style wise last year and I am hoping that 2019 will hold much better moments. I picked this black and gold Armani Prive Fall 2018 Couture strapless gown which features a gold fully embellished corset bodice, a tiered gold tulle underskirt, velvet waist detail and a black glitter tulle overlaid skirt because of how glamorous it is, but I would want to see the look customized for Anne removing the black velvet waist and the tulle overlay. I honestly feel like those details I want removed just make this look look cheap, so giving Anne that all gold princess moment I really think would put her back in my good graces. I would keep black in the look adding a black and gold Judith Leiber ‘Jazz Age’ art deco crystal embellished resin box clutch, a pair of black Manolo Blahnik ‘Nabasa’ crystal sunburst buckle sandals and Cartier diamond and onyx drop earrings. Old Hollywood waves, defined smokey eyes, and bold red lips would all ensure that this look really does restore my love of Anne’s style. Last year Halle Berry really let me down wearing a totally event inappropriate Zuhair Murad black lace mini dress. The dress code for the Golden Globe Awards is formal. That means that tea length is the shortest one should wear on the red carpet. I want to see her redeem herself, but still stay true to her fountain of youth inspired style. So with that in mind I decided I wanted to see Halle wearing this rose gold Atelier Versace Fall 2018 Couture column gown which features intricate beaded embroidery, thigh high split, thin straps, a corseted bodice, and a plunging sweetheart neckline. I definitely think that Halle would be drawn to the inherent sex appeal in this gown and hopefully would be able to deliver it on this red carpet without looking dated. It could come across as a dated 90’s moment, and I am hoping that isn’t what happens. Sleek side parted hair, smokey eyes, nude lips, a pair of rose gold Jimmy Choo ‘Helen’ strappy sandals, and a pair of Bulgari high jewelry earrings rendered in yellow gold with pink coral beads, sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds all would add really chic touches to ensure this look is perfection from head to toe. The last time Janelle Monae was on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards was back in 2017 and she brought the fun factor to the red carpet wearing a high low bubble hem Armani Prive gown. She is one of the many presenters who are confirmed to attend tomorrow nights ceremony. She tends to stick to her back and white box and while on most I would get board with looks always in that color story, but the fact that Janelle brings major moments on the red carpet. She loves herself a Jean Paul Gaultier look for the red carpet and so for her look for tomorrow night I dug deep into the brands archives to find the perfect moment for her to wear. I found this black Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2006 Couture long sleeve sequin gown which features a high turtleneck, fitted bodice, and an a-line skirt and it just screamed Janelle to me. Is the gown itself a boundary pushing moment? No. But with a big braided bun on the front of her head, thick winged eyes, red lips, a black and white Rafe’ ‘Kiki Zebra’ shell minaudiere clutch, black Fendi faux pearl embellished sandals, and Mikimoto diamond and pearl fringe cluster earrings I know that it would be a really chic moment for Janelle to bring to life on this red carpet. I always get excited when I see that Julianne Moore is going to be on a red carpet. So when the Hollywood Foreign Press Association tweeted out that she was going to be among tomorrow nights presenters I got really excited. I immediately went to Givenchy for the perfect gown for Julianne to wear on this red carpet. I fell in love with the idea of Julianne wearing this black and grey Givenchy Fall 2018 Couture one shoulder gown which features an asymmetrical black velvet bodice, a single short sleeve, silver metal belted waist, and an a-line silver sequin and feather embellished skirt. I wondered for about 32 seconds if it was too similar to the Givenchy Couture by Riccardo Tisci gown that Julianne on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet back in 2015 ahead of her Best Actress win for Still Alice, but while they look they could have been in the same collection that each one is still very different and how I think Julianne would wear this gown is different than how she wore the one in 2015. I would have Julianne style this modern glam with a sleek updo, defined eyes, red lips, a pair of black Aquazzura ‘Nathalie’ sandals, and Chopard high jewelry including a diamond and emerald chandelier earrings and a statement emerald cocktail ring to really make this look come to life on tomorrow’s red carpet. Lucy Liu hasn’t been to the Golden Globe Awards since 2013 when she shut the red carpet down wearing a statement floral Carolina Herrera ball gown. I love me some Lucy but she has been really MIA in the last few years. When it comes to major red carpets Lucy loves a big dramatic gown and that is exactly what I found for her to wear tomorrow night. I initially had a Ralph & Russo Couture gown on this list for Lucy, but when I saw this acid green Christian Siriano Spring 2019 RTW tiered tulle gown which features micro pleating throughout with a fitted waistline, cutout sides, full A-line skirt, and a dramatic train in my archive and I started wondering who could wear it for tomorrows red carpet. I kinda figured that following seeing this gown, and falling in love with it, come down the runway during New York Fashion Week I figured this gown was going to be reserved for awards season and honestly the Golden Globe Awards is the only red carpet where this much drama is okay. Well the Oscars are too, but that comes after the new collection comes out. So when I was looking at who all was left saw the Lucy was the only person in the ranks that I think is ballsy enough to make this gown work. The silhouette alone is tough, but that color makes this a difficult too to carry. I think though that Lucy has what it takes to really make this look come to life. The last time we saw her on a red carpet, last June, Lucy had blonde hair. I would like to see her back with her black hair if she is wearing this dress because I think that the darker color would allow for her not to be dominated by the color of this gown. Style that hair in a sleek low bun adding smokey eyes, soft pink lips, a gold Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ cutout star pattern metal clutch, a pair of gold Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ metallic leather pointed toe pumps, and statement Cartier high jewelry earrings made up of opals, tsavorites, tanzanites, and diamonds and this would be an absolutely triumphant return to the red carpet for Lucy.

The 2019 Golden Globe Awards will take place on Sunday January 6, 2019.

2019 Art of Elysium HEAVEN Gala Red Carpet Wish List

Strap yourselves in. We are now full steam ahead with 2019. While we still have a few more days of 2018 I am moving on and gearing up for one of the most glamorous times of the year, awards season. I am really excited to see what this years awards season is going to bring. It is gearing up to be a very diverse group of stars, and many of them, on the red carpet and I really do believe that we are gearing up for many major potential Best Dressed of the Year moments coming up. While the Art of Elysium HEAVEN Gala isn’t an awards event, or event the first red carpet of the year, it is one of the biggest events of prior to the Golden Globe Awards and stars know how to bring the glam to the red carpet. This gala honors one artist and one designer. This year the gala is being curated by artist Michael Muller and is being fashioned by designer Peter Dundas. The gala is being co-chaired by Peter’s husband Evangelo Bousis as well as actors Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix. Dundas is one of these labels I don’t always think lands on the red carpet, but I am hopeful that this red carpet will deliver some really chic fashion moments on the red carpet. Amber Heard has been a constant guest at the Art of Elysium HEAVEN galas in the past. She is one of the stars who are among one of the events biggest donors and I am sure we will see her once again take to the red carpet when this years gala kicks off. I was really looking forward to her tour for Aquaman, but I just wasn’t impressed. She left me desiring more. I want to see her bring that glamour that I know is inside her when she steps out for the Art of Elysium gala next month. We haven’t seen Amber wear Dundas in the past, but I feel like the brands sexy glamour is perfect for Amber and when I saw this slate blue and gold Dundas Pre-Fall 2019 fully sequined gown which is designed with a plunging neckline, a gathered waist, and a full length skirt with a thigh high slit at front it just clicked to me as a perfect look for her to have her first moment in the brand. This gown gives clear femme fatale vibes and I really do believe that is when Amber is at her best. When she delivers that uber sexy take on glamour is when I most fall in love with Amber’s red carpet moments. I think that this gown with a sleek updo, defined eyes, dark rose pink lips, and a pair of metallic gold and silver Aquazzura ‘Love Affair Plateau’ platform sandals would all ensure this look is absolute perfection from head to toe. We don’t often see Camilla Belle on red carpets anymore, and I often miss her. She has always been one of my favorites because she brings very feminine glamour to whatever red carpets she steps onto. Though like Amber Camilla is a Spirit of Elysium circle member so I am expecting to see what she will bring to the red carpet at this gala on January 5, 2019. When I was searching for the perfect gown for Camilla to bring to life on this red carpet I immediately fell in love with this floral Elie Saab Spring 2019 RTW cut out lingerie tulle gown which features a fitted bodice with a sweetheart neckline and full A-line skirt. It is an absolutely beautiful style moment that I don’t think would work for many of the awards shows, but I definitely think it is perfect for a gala. It seems like something that Camilla would make it a major moment on the red carpet especially paired with old Hollywood waves, winged eyes, soft pink lips, a dark lagoon blue Mehry Mu ‘Sultan’ clutch, a pair of black Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals, and Anita Ko ‘Floating’ diamond and blue sapphire earrings.Ciara is on the host committee of the 2019 Art of Elysium HEAVEN Gala and I would totally expect her to rock this red carpet wearing a design from the nights featured designer, Dundas. Ciara has never been to an Art of Elysium HEAVEN gala before, but I really do believe that her relationship with Peter Dundas will see her bring one of his designs to life on this red carpet. Her look was actually the first one I knew I wanted to see in this list. I decided to forgo a gown, unlike everyone else, instead opting for this disco glam gold sequin Dundas Pre-Fall 2019 ensemble which features a jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and wide leg pants paired with a matching blazer. I would keep the blazer draped over the shoulders like a cape as it was styled in the look book adding a sleek high pony, smokey eyes, nude lips, a pair of gold Casadei ‘Blade’ crystal embellished glitter pumps, and statement Fernando Jorge ‘Clarity’ diamond sunburst drop earrings to really ensure that Ciara absolutely shuts down this red carpet. Another member of this years HEAVEN Gala host committee is Kate Bosworth, along with her husband Michael Polish. I always love seeing Kate on the red carpet so I am really excited to see what she will bring to life on this red carpet. She brings this modern take on classic glamour to whatever red carpet she walks and that is why I think that this powder blue Alessandra Rich Spring 2019 RTW cotton-blend gown which features a one-shoulder silhouette with an exaggerated bow detail and crystal-embellished bodice with a full ankle length skirt is perfect for her to bring to life on this red carpet. I really do believe that Kate is the perfect person with the perfect poise and statuesque beauty to really deliver this as a major 50’s/60’s moment. A glamorous updo, winged eyes, punchy bold matte pink lips, a silver Rodo embellished hardshell clutch, silver Fred Leighton ‘Rosalind’ crystal heel sandals, and vintage Fred Leighton diamond art deco drop earrings all would help achieve that goal. We can all but assume that since she is a co-chair of this years gala that we will see Rooney Mara on the red carpet at the Art of Elysium HEAVEN Gala. I personally think the pairing of Rooney and Dundas is a head scratching idea, but I was able to find one look from the brand that I think she could be drawn to. Rooney tends to stick to just black and white looks on the red carpet, and usually more of a covered look. That isn’t really the MO of Dundas, but I do think that this simple white Dundas Pre-Fall 2019 jersey gown which features an embellished halter neckline, a plunging keyhole opening at the bust and a fitted silhouette with a thigh high slit almost fits Rooney’s style. The thigh high center split isn’t exactly something I think is very Rooney, but that could be fixed in a custom version of the gown for Rooney. She is also very tiny so if she wears the sample designed for an amazonian tall model I think that we could get a little pooling train that could make the look a little more Rooney. Simple Tiffany & Co. ‘Ziegfeld’ collection pearl drop earrings, a pair of white Gianvito Rossi crystal embellished strappy sandals, a sleek center parted low bun, defined eyes, and red lips all would really ensure that this look is styled perfectly for Rooney. Zoe Saldana has attended many Art of Elysium events in the past, but never the organizations signature HEAVEN Gala. This year she is on the host committee so I am hoping we see her bringing some major moments to the red carpet. While I definitely think that Zoe fits the stylings of Dundas it was Michael Kors that I first thought of as the perfect pairing for her to wear on this red carpet. This black 3-D sequined Michael Kors gown which features a tank style top and a column skirt with a thigh high side split was immediately the first thing that came to mind for Zoe to wear on this red carpet. Is this gown boundary pushing? Not at all, but I think it fits Zoe’s modern take on classic glamour perfectly and I really do believe that with a sleek low ponytail, defined eyes, dark red lips, a black Judith Leiber crocodile leather box clutch, a pair of black Aquazzura PVC detailed sandals, and diamond flower stud style earring in blackened 18k gold from Beladora that this would be the perfect look for Zoe to bring to life on this red carpet.

The 2019 Art of Elysium HEAVEN Gala will take place on Saturday January 5, 2019.

“Aquaman” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

I haven’t been able to confirm a date for the LA premiere of Aquaman, so I don’t actually know if there will be one. I would imagine that this big blockbuster of a film will have a major premiere in the epicenter of film. I am really excited to see what will come from this promo tour. So far it has been all about the sex appeal for the ladies, and I am ready for the drama. Amber Heard’s sexy black sequin Celine mini dress (with a major keyhole cutout) at the films premiere in Beijing was a big shock for me. I honestly didn’t expect to see that dress rocked off the runway just because of how big the cutout is. I went for a major Stephane Rolland moment for Amber to wear on the red carpet at the films premiere in London tomorrow, and for the the premiere in London I went vintage. I went online to a favorite vintage store of Amber’s stylist Karla Welch, Shrimpton Couture, to see if there was something perfect for Amber to wear on this red carpet and the moment I saw this black vintage Jean Louis Scherrer turtle neck jersey gown which features a daring sexy cutout back, a jeweled strap across the back, long sleeves, and a dramatic train. This gown too was designed by Stephane Rolland for his Spring 2001 Couture collection for the house of Jean Louis Scherrer. This sexy gown is business in the front and sexy from the back and I really do believe that Amber would be the perfect person to bring this gown to life on a red carpet. I would go with either a sleek high ponytail or a sleek braided bun updo, defined smokey eyes, bold red lips, and the perfect pair of matching Sophia Webster ‘Rosalind’ PVC and multicolor gem studded strappy sandals to really ensure that this is just another Best Dressed of the Year list worthy moment.Nicole Kidman hasn’t attended any of the press events for Aquaman since she joined the cast back in July at San Diego Comic-Con. I would only really expect to see Nicole on the red carpet promoting this film at major premieres like London and LA. I might have gone for a really dramatic couture gown for Nicole to wear in London, but for the LA premiere I was drawn to something a little more out there as a wish for Nicole than normally. I saw this white, black, and red Georges Chakra Fall 2018 Couture tuxedo which features a peplum blazer with a shawl collar, defined waist, and asymmetrical ruffled details and while there has to be tons of options from all of Nicole’s favorite designers I was just drawn to it. Nicole has never worn a Georges Chakra design before, and usually I would never option a look from the brand for her, but I really think that for this red carpet that this would be a perfect option for her to bring to life on this red carpet. Pair it with old Hollywood waves, defined eyes, red lips, a black Christian Louboutin ‘Nosy’ strass strap pointed toe pumps, and a pair of vintage Fred Leighton diamond chandelier earrings to really ensure head to toe perfection for Nicole
