I am getting very excited for what this years Grammy Awards will be. With all the possibilities from in person presenters and performers (and hopefully some winners) to looks from nominees who aren’t able to attend in person on Instagram I am ready for FASHIONS. The Grammy’s always allows for some major fashion moments we wouldn’t see on any of the film awards red carpets during award season. So I am having a lot of fun wit my wishes for the collection as well. 
Billie Eilish has always had a very interesting sense of style. Last awards season she rocked Chanel, Gucci, and Burberry track suit style looks for all the red carpets she walked. I don’t want to change her, so when I was looking for something for the singer who is nominated for 4 Grammy’s including Record of the Year and Song of the Year and is also performing at this years show I turned to the Valentino Spring 2021 Couture collection. I was thinking about all the cool boxier cut and layered looks from the collection and knew that I would find a great moment for Billie to wear on this red carpet and I found it in this look which features a gold embossed brocade cocoon cape inspired sleeveless hoodie (A COUTURE HOODIE), a sleeveless light but turtleneck, sand colored pleated front trousers, and matching elbow gloves. This moment is definitely the most Billie look that was show in this collection and I really want to see her rock it for the Grammy’s red carpet. According to her Instagram Billie is still rocking that horrible acid green roots thing. I don’t think that would work with this look though. Instead I would like to see Billie give us more of something like an deep ink blue instead. To finish the look I would style the moment with defined eyes, nude pink lips, and a pair of metallic gold Valentino Couture platform derbies. 
Cynthia Erivo is nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media for her song “Stand Up” from Harriet. She is a consummate fashionista and so I know that had this been a regular year that she would have shown up on the Grammy’s red carpet serving a major look like she was one of the top nominated artists of the night. The fact that she is also be a part of this years post Grammy special “A Salute to the Sound of Change” would have also boded well for her being on the Grammy’s red carpet. I was going to start looking through my archives of couture runways for Cynthia, but then I saw this gold lamé button back of the shoulder peak lapel gown with an oversized drape and puffer coat backpack turned tiered train from the Paris Fashion Week presentation of the Thom Browne Fall 2021 RTW collection. There are very few stars who I think could pull a look like this off, but despite her petite frame I know that Cynthia could serve this moment up and deliver it on a red carpet and the Grammy’s would be perfect. Now for the lookbook the gown was styled with a signature black Thom Browne tuxedo on top under the gown. I would ditch that. Instead styling the gown with her signature bleached buzzed hair, smokey eyes, deep berry red glossy lips, metallic gold leather Aquazzura ‘Gin Plateau 140’ strappy platform sandals, and a statement Harry Winston white and yellow diamond collar necklace would make it a major fashion moment.
Harry Style is nominated for Best Solo Pop Performance, Best Pop Album, and Best Music Video at this years Grammy Awards and I am super disappointed that the regular red carpet isn’t going to happen. Harry has been one of my men to watch on the red carpet because he isn’t afraid to blur the gender lines on the red carpet. Now that being said Harry is still performing at this years show and I hope he serves up some cool looks. I have two looks for Harry one for the red carpet and one for a performance. The red carpet look I’ve picked for Harry is a powder blue Gucci Spring 2017 Menswear shawl lapel tailcoat tuxedo which I would style a little differently than it was on the runway I would ditch the tangerine short wide tie and change the shirt. Instead I would style the look with a classic pleated tuxedo shirt, the cummerbund front he runway, a pair of navy velvet Gucci ‘New Jordaan Horsebit’ leather trimmed logo embroidered loafers, and a major white diamond and tanzanite Gucci High Jewelry heart, arrow, and floral brooch instead of a tie to really make this a cool look for Harry. For the performance, of which I don’t have any idea what it will be, I would love to see Harry hit the stage wearing this raspberry red metallic plaid silk brocade Gucci Fall 2020 Menswear 70’s inspired wide lapel suit. It is definitely something I can see Harry being drawn to and I feel like the subtle sparkle makes it a perfect stage look. Again I would switch up the styling ditching hat, shirt, and sweater from the runway in favor of a blush pink floral jacquard Gucci blouse style button down, a pair of black Gucci ‘Zahara’ silver buckle cowboy inspired ankle boots, and a Gucci ‘Hortus Delicarium’ white diamond and morganite leaf wreath and lion head necklace for a bit of sparkle. 
Jhene Aiko will host the Grammy Premiere ceremony, which is the party of the show that isn’t televised where they hand out all kinds of awards. In addition to that she is nominated for 3 Grammy’s herself this year including Album of the Year, Best Progressive R&B Album, & Best R&B Performance. So I am really hoping to see her deliver a superb moment on the red carpet. I went for sexy glamour inspired by Grace Jones with this black/gold sequin Rami Al Ali Spring 2021 Couture draped hooded wrap style gown with a major split in the front. I love this super glam moment and I feel like it would just ooze sexy and edgy glam, especially with tight cornrow braids, perfectly laid curled edges, defined eyes, nude glossy lips, a pair of gold and black Casadei ‘Blade Jeannie’ strappy ankle strap sandals, and a statement gold basket weave Vhernier ‘Giunco’ cuff bracelet. 
The last two wishes for today are for Travis Scott & Kylie Jenner. I would have loved to see the on again off again couple back on the Grammy’s red carpet together. But since he is just nominated for one Grammy this year, Best Melodic Rap Performance, I doubt we will see either of them on the red carpet either in person or virtually. If they do I would love to see them rock superb complimentary moments starting with an industrial grey Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2021 utilitarian inspired double breasted suit with a light grey turtleneck (a menswear trend this awards season), and a red silk flower boutonniere for Travis styled with a pair of black calfskin leather Dior Men ‘Dior Explorer Boot II’ oblique embossed combat boots. It’s a cool yet chic moment and I feel like it would be something that Travis would be drawn to. For Kylie I wanted glamour and sex appeal and I found it in this red one shoulder Atelier Versace Spring 2021 Couture column gown which features a structured origami petal inspired sculptural shoulder detail and a thigh high split. I am obsessed with this gown and while I wouldn’t usually waste this major moment on Kylie I know that if anyone could bring up a major IG red carpet moment it would be Kylie. Taking this gown and styling it with a sleek flip style high pony tail, defined eyes, Kylie Cosmetics ‘Lovey Dovey’ matte lips, simple red satin Versace ankle strap platform sandals, and a selection of Jacob & Co. jewels including a pair of white diamond art deco inspired chandelier earrings and a dazzling pigeon blood ruby and white diamond three row bracelet would make sure this statement look would compliment the Dior on Travis perfectly.

Up first is Mank star Amanda Seyfried. I’ve long been a big fan of Amanda’s style and I definitely would have loved to see what she was going to bring to this red carpet. As I was looking for what I wanted to pick I was also in the midst of archiving images of looks I don’t think have been worn on a red carpet from the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s which is where I found this black pleated Prada sleeveless midi dress which features leather belt banded details. The dress hails from the Prada Fall 2002 RTW collection and is a super chic moment. It is glamorous yet bohemian and I definitely think that speaks to Amanda’s sense of style. As I feel like this dress transcends trends and season it is still perfect for now. It’s a classic. I would style this look for Amanda with soft old Hollywood waves worn over one shoulder, defined eyes, glossy nude pink lips, 
Lily Collins also stars alongside Amanda in Mank and with her fashionista chops I definitely would have loved to see her on this red carpet as well. I love that no matter where she is that Lily is always giving everything that she can on a red carpet. I think that the inner magpie in Lily would be drawn to all the sophisticated frills of the red and black flocked tulle Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2021 mini dress which features long puffed sleeves, a deep V-neck, and layered skirt. It is dark and sexy but still fun and feminine and I think that is why this dress was an easy choice for me to pick for Lily. It is an absolutely beautiful and statement making moment and I know that Lily would wear it with effortless ease. Personally I would finish this look with a sleek side parted updo, defined eyes, soft blush pink lips, statement
I feel like it’s been a long time since we last saw Jamie Chung on a red carpet. For a while there she as one of the it girls and was always serving looks. So I was excited to see her name on the cast list for Lovecraft Country which the AFI has honored as one of the top television programs of 2020. So I went shopping on the runways for a super chic moment for Jamie to wear on this red carpet and I fell in love with this caramel and white leopard print Ulla Johnson Fall 2020 RTW ruffled dress which features a plunging neckline and an asymmetrical hem. I feel like this fun, flirty moment is definitely in line with the style I remember from Jamie and it would be a super chic moment for the red carpet at an AFI Awards. Now I had a very specific vision for the shoes in this look I wanted business meets fashion and that is exactly what I found in a pair of
Jurnee Smollett is also part of the cast of Lovecraft Country and I would definitely have loved to see her style continue to evolve. Last year as she was helping to promote Birds of Prey I really enjoyed seeing her bold and edgy sense of style on the red carpet. Now the red carpet at the AFI Awards isn’t traditionally a space for lots of drama, but she could have still shown a really cool statement look in a more “casual” manner. I would have loved to see her show up to the AFI Awards luncheon wearing this burgundy silk satin ADEAM Fall 2020 RTW pantsuit with a sash belted waist. It screams cool girl chic and I feel like that is exactly what she would have needed to serve a major moment on this red carpet. The color against her skin would be phenomenal and with a chic updo, defined eyes, glossy nude lips, a pair of 
Sound of Metal star Olivia Cooke has a wonderfully quirky sense of style and is definitely one I would pay attention to if we were having a regular awards season. For the look I would have wanted to see Olivia wearing on the red carpet at the AFI Awards I went for something more cocktail-y than I went for many of the looks in this series of wishes. Since the AFI Awards is a luncheon more casual looks are the norm, but when I saw this white and black Carolina Herrera Spring 2021 RTW embroidered fringe silk organza sleeveless shift dress as I was putting together these wishes I was immediately drawn it it. This isn’t really a look that would work on many red carpets during awards season, but I feel like on Olivia t would be a fun moment for her to bring to the red carpet at the AFI Awards. To make this perfect for a luncheon red carpet I would have Olivia style it with a loose romantic updo, simple defined eyes, bold red lips, a 
On the heels of a Golden Globe and SAG nomination and a Palm Springs Film Festival Award honor I am definitely excited to see what Sound of Metal star Riz Ahmed would be wearing on the red carpets during awards season. For the cancelled AFI Awards red carpet I would have dressed Riz in this grey Dior Men Resort 2021 Menswear single breasted suit with peak lapels, striped detail on the cuffs and waist band paired with a matching stripped button down. It isn’t a boundary pushing menswear moment, but that isn’t really what Riz is about. He does pick things that aren’t always your ‘classics’ but more of things that are classics with a twist. I definitely think that this is that classic with a twist. Now while I don’t totally hate the camel boat style shoes that the look was paired with in the lookbook I would still swap them for a pair of 
I think I am most disappointed that COVID has stolen all kinds of major red carpet moments from Emma Corrin. I adored her portrayal of Princess Diana in the latest season of The Crown and she is just as much of a fashionista. In the lead up to the latest season of the show dropping on Netflix her stylist Harry Lambert shared a series of photos of looks that the two had put together as options for looks for press and premieres and it included looks from 16Arlington, Christopher Kane, Rejina Pyo, Loewe, and Nensi Dojaka. She ultimately wore custom Miu Miu for the virtual premiere. Now had there been a red carpet for the AFI Awards I would have loved to seen Emma channel Diana’s two different senses of style with this look from the Louis Vuitton Resort 2021 collection. They grey double breasted blazer is more of the structured side of Diana’s style and the horizontal striped silk leggings are on the athleisure side and they shouldn’t work well together, but for some reason it does. Now I would swap the blue striped shirt the look was styled with in the lookbook instead opting for a white cotton sleeveless embroidered button down shirt with a ruffled neckline to add a soft touch of femininity to the very severe look. Erin Doherty emerged out of the cast of The Crown as a fashion force we didn’t know we were looking for. She has a super feminine sensibility and has rocked major moments from coveted brands like Valentino and Giambattista Valli for red carpets since bursting onto the scene. If there were an in person AFI Awards this year I would have loved to see Erin show up to celebrate the show wearing this uber feminine pink floral flowing dress from the Giambattista Valli Fall 2020 RTW collection which features long blouson sleeves, a black bow belted waist, and an a-line skirt. This dress balances femininity and bohemian styling and I believe that Erin would wear it incredibly well. I would style this dress with some statement pieces to really make this a major fashion moment. I think that a soft updo, defined eyes, rose pink lips, a pair of 
Gillian Anderson’s performance in Season 4 of The Crown and the Iron Lady, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was PHENOMENAL. It has lead to her receiving a Golden Globe, SAG, and Critics Choice Award nomination so far this awards season. I’ve always been a fan of Gillian’s style so I would love to see her bring some very chic moments to the red carpets. I would have loved to see Gillian show up for this super casual red carpet wearing this electric blue Carolina Herrera Resort 2021 long sleeve pencil dress which features a jewel neckline, a gathered seam waist, and a faux wrap style skirt. It isn’t a boundary pushing look by any means, but sometimes we just need chic and not evolutionary. The AFI Awards red carpet is a place where I am really not opposed to just seeing CHIC and this dress is that. Now I was inspired by the lookbook styling and I would love to style this look with a pair of
Helena Bonham Carter doesn’t really do red carpets except for the major ones, so I don’t really believe that she would have actually attended the AFI Awards. But, since we are dreaming today I decided to make sure she is included. I have a love hate relationship with Helena’s style. I love that she is always quirky and true to herself, but on the other hand I don’t necessarily love her sense of style. That being said, I went shopping in the runways and lookbooks to find something amazing for Helena. Now I fell in love with the idea of seeing Helena in Rodarte as I was looking at this bold floral print long sleeve silk-blend devore velvet tea length dress from the brands Fall 2020 RTW collection. We’ve never seen Helena in Rodarte, but I really think that this dress is perfectly in tune with her sense of style. I might go as far as saying that should she actually wear this look on a red carpet that it might be one of her best red carpet looks ever. For the AFI Awards I would dress this more cocktail oriented dress down with Helena’s signature messy updo, thick kohl rimmed eyes, bold red lips, a 
Josh O’Connor was a phenomenal Prince Charles. He had the voice and mannerisms down perfectly. Now last awards season he was working some really interesting 70’s inspired looks from Loewe. That alone designates him with a fashion boy distinction. As I was looking at the collections being shown recently I found myself imagining several looks on him so definitely know that I will be featuring him in many of my upcoming event wishes. One look I really loved for him was this Dior Men Fall 2021 ensemble which features a powder blue early 19th century military inspired blazer, dark oil blue silk trousers, and a victorian scene printed trench coat. It isn’t an easy look to pull off and I don’t think I would recommend all the pieces together for anyone other than Josh (though I totally want that coat in my closet). He has the effortlessly quirky sensibility to really make a look like this come to life. 
And last but certainly not least is The Crown’s very own Queen Elizabeth II Olivia Colman. A couple of years ago I wasn’t all that interested in Olivia’s style, but there have been some bright spots. I think mostly of her red Antonio Berardi at the Venice Film Festival, the custom Prada at the AFI Fest premiere of the Season 3 of The Crown, and her custom Stella McCartney at the Oscars last year. I wouldn’t expect a groundbreaking moment from Olivia at an event like the AFI Awards, but this cornflower blue silk jersey Erdem Resort 2021 dress which features a jewel neckline, blouson sleeves, pearl details at a gathered waist, and a soft a-line skirt would be incredibly chic. It is a very elegant gown that is in all reality a very classic design, but it also feels very modern. I would definitely love to see Olivia bring this chic moment to life with a short pixie style, defined eyes, soft pink lips, a 
John David Washington isn’t a dude who will push the boundaries of fashion, but he will rock some chic looks from the coolest brands out there. Well what brand is hotter is menswear right now than Dior Men by Kim Jones? So yes of course I immediately thought of this black silk double breasted suit with notch lapels and slim fit tapered leg trousers from the Dior Men Resort 2021 collection. The suit itself isn’t boundary pushing at all, but I love the horizontal ribbon stripe detail on the waistband of the trousers as well as the subtlety branded black, white, grey, and camel striped button down it was styled with on the lookbook make this look incredibly chic. While I don’t often advocate for wearing a double breasted suit open, but I love the effortless chic that the look evokes in the lookbook and I would have John David pose on a red carpet just like this with the look styled with a pair of 
Now when it comes to fashion few do it better than Zendaya. This girl isn’t afraid to take a risk and I am going to be forever mad at COVID that it stole this really important movie premiere from us, even though without COVID we might not ever had seen this movie come to life. As I was planning this list I had just started saving the looks from Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and so I immediately knew that I wanted to see the glamizon that is Zendaya wearing this lilac Antonio Grimaldi Spring 2021 Couture mini dress gown with a blouson silk taffeta cape bodice that turns into a dramatic train with a feathered skirt. There are really very few who could make this look work and I know that Zendaya is one of them. I want to see more of Antonio Grimaldi on the red carpet and I feel like a major moment on someone like Zendaya would make the label become a heavy hitter in the red carpet arena. To really make this look super cool I would style it with a bun of braids, defined eyes, glossy nude lips, a pair of 
A$AP Rocky is known for bringing the fashion factor to the red carpet. He has favored Dior Homme since Kim Jones took the helm, but instead I went to another super hyped brand for him to wear for the VMAs. I LOVE this black and chocolate brown Bottega Veneta Fall 2020 collection ensemble which features a dancing shadow sheer knit button down long sleeve top, a pair of high waisted straight leg pants, and a cummerbund. It isn’t a look for the faint of heart and I think that A$AP Rocky would definitely be able to sell it to me with ease for the VMAs. 
Harry Styles is a Gucci devotee. I live that Harry, especially as a a straight man, wants to blur the lines of gender on the red carpet. Unfortunately it often doesn’t work and he ends up looking like a grandma in ill-fitting clothing. Had there been a red carpet for this years VMAs I would have LOVED to see Harry rock this peach and bright floral printed Gucci Resort 2021 Menswear suit which features a box cut double breasted jacket, flared wide leg trousers, and a beige pussy bow blouse. It is definitely right up Harry’s sense of style and I feel like we will definitely see him bring this look to life at some point. His tousled waves and a pair of 
John Legend is nominated in two new categories at the VMA’s. He could take home the Moonperson for Best Music Video from Home and/or Best Quarantine Performance. Now with his awards being taken from the Pandemic performance shift I would imagine that if John won anything that he will accept it from home super casual. It’s a shame because I always love seeing him and wife Chrissy Teigan rocking a red carpet. So of course I had to pick two looks for the couple as if there were going to be a red carpet. For John I would have loved to see him rock this Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh Resort 2021 Menswear suit which features a grey single button blazer with an asymmetrical band detail on the waist and a pair of slim fit black trousers. Now I would have switched up the styling a bit instead styling it with a crisp white shirt, a black bow tie, and a pair of 
I love Maluma. He is always one to serve a look so I am really excited to see what he will wear for the VMAs where he is both nominated and performing. I went through a gambit of different labels when I was thinking about what to pick for Maluma, but it was this Dior grey two button double breasted Dior Men Spring 2019 Menswear suit with a cream to fuchsia ombre silk sash kept popping back into my mind. We’ve seen a couple iterations of this look on the red carpet thanks to Gwendoline Christie and Darren Criss, but I feel like Maluma would definitely give this style a MAJOR red carpet moment. The last look today is for Travis Scott. I’ve definitely kept an eye on Travis and his style. He tends to favor looks from Dior Homme or Louis Vuitton, but I saw this sunset print Balmain Resort 2021 Menswear blazer and matching button down shirt worn unbuttoned with a black t-shirt and black trousers and it spoke to me. It is a super cool look and I feel like Travis would bring his effortless cool vibe to this look for sure. I would finish the look with statement sneakers via a pair of

In her two Met Gala appearances thus far Celine Dion has opted to bare leg with bodysuit ensembles from Atelier Versace and Oscar de la Renta. For her appearance this year, if she so chooses to attend, I turned back to Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim who designed Celine’s champagne beaded fringe Oscar de la Renta ‘Follies’ inspired moment last year. While it is the same designers I turned to their fledgling label Monse for the perfect gown for Celine to wear on this years red carpet with this silver sequined asymmetric gown which features a single sleeve, asymmetric hem, and a thigh high split. This gown still shows off Celine’s fantastic legs in the best way possible. I would keep the gown as it was presented, mostly. The only change I would make to this ensemble is lengthening the train so it is super long. A sleek bun updo, smokey eyes, nude lips, a pair of
Halsey has walked two Met Gala red carpets. One she wore a suit dress with sneakers by DNKY and the other she wore warrior princess Prabal Gurung Atelier. Last year in Prabal Halsey went so dark on the bronzer that it verged on blackface and cultural appropriation. Now I am hoping that we see the singer on this years red carpet, but delivering something superb. I turned to Vivienne Westwood and this signature electric blue draped corset moment from the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Fall 2020 RTW collection. I definitely can see this being a superb moment on Halsey. This super classic Westwood design fits in with this years theme perfectly because while this is a style we have seen many times in many different iterations from the label the idea has endured the test of time and continues to be something to be excited about on the red carpet. I think that Halsey has the edge and poise to really sell this look to me on the red carpet. Like most looks from the ready to wear runways I would love to see Vivienne Westwood customize this gown for the Met Gala red carpet adding a long train making sure it is dramatic enough to stand out on this red carpet. Now as Halsey isn’t afraid of taking risks when it comes to styling so I loaded this look up with a 40’s victory roll inspired red haired updo, thick winged eye liner, bold red lips, a pair of 
Going from one major moment to another I decided to go for something a lot more dramatic than what we are used to seeing from Lily Rose Depp. As I’ve mentioned I have pulled a lot of archive moments for this years Met Gala wishes. I found this major white Chanel Spring 2009 Couture ensemble which features a cap sleeve structured sequin tunic top, a pair of fitted sequin pants, and a ruffled floral train and thought this would be amazing on Lily. She doesn’t typically do big ruffles or trains, but I feel like the whole tunic and pants thing is definitely right up her ally. It would be a superb moment to honor this years theme by pulling something out of the archive as well as a moment to honor the late Karl Lagerfeld again. Now to pull this look together I would also want to see Lily pull those white satin block platform sandals that the look was paired with on the runway adding a sleek bun, structured cheek bones, thick winged eyes, rose pink lips, and a pair of
A couple of years ago Anna Wintour implemented a minimum age requirement to attend the Met Gala. A VOGUE spokesperson said that the decision had been made because “it’s not an appropriate event for people under 18”. Well Kiernan Shipka crossed that threshold two years ago and I am just waiting for her to deliver a major Met Gala moment. I fell in love with Kiernan’s style as she grew up in the public eye as a star of the hit show Mad Men. Now she is one of the biggest characters on Netflix when as the title character in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I was on the hunt for Met Gala dresses and looking for information on something from Nina Ricci when I saw this strapless nude organza and maroon 3D laser cut floral embellished trapeze cocktail dress from the Nina Ricci Spring 2020 RTW collection. I was originally only going to do the one Nina Ricci look for this set of wishes that I did for Allison Williams, but when I started thinking of this perfectly shapeless mini dress being turned into a high low gown with a long train for Kiernan I knew it was a major look that would be perfect for this red carpet. This flounced hem dress is a new signature for Nina Ricci under the creative direction of Rushemy Botter & Lisi Herrebrugh. I feel like this would be a superb major moment for the label and for Kiernan to have on her first Met Gala red carpet. I think this gown with a sleek updo, smokey eyes, dark rose pink lips, a pair of custom dyed to match maroon 
Up last in today’s wishes is cape coat I am dying to see reside inside my own closet. Regular readers will know I have a duality of feelings when it comes to Dior. When it comes to womenswear and Maria Grazia Chiuri I am so far from a fan, but when it comes to what Kim Jones has done at Dior Men I am obsessed. I love that he has taken into the Dior archives for inspiration for prints, silhouette, and embellishments. For this black and silver cape coat from the Dior Men Fall 2020 Menswear collection Kim found inspiration for the silver beading on the cape from a dress designed by Marc Bohan for the Dior Fall 1969 Haute Couture collection. I only picked this one look from Dior Men for the Met Gala, because when the look is this good you don’t need multiple options. Michael B. Jordan has a sense of style, but there has been a lot of questioning the execution of his looks. There is usually some sort of issue, typically with fit. Fit should never be an issue for a man in Hollywood. There is an abundance of tailors in LA, and across the world, that are more than capable of making sure there is an absolutely perfect fit for a suit. Michael’s suits tend to fit on the small side. That might be because with his frame he might be in between sizes. Well he is a big enough star that designers can and will make a suit made to measure for them. Or he can get a size up and then have one of the many expert tailors in LA fit it perfectly to him. I know Dior has a team of tailors who work specifically with the VIP clientele and so when I picked this cornflower blue Dior Man Spring 2020 Menswear double breasted suit with a shinny silk button down I knew it was the perfect idea to make sure that Michael could have a major moment to bring to life on the red carpet at the LA premiere for Just Mercy. Now to finish this look I would tuck in the button down, ditch the necklace and bag the look was paired with on the runway, keep the crystal broach, and add a pair of 
Chadwick Boseman will be one of the many presenters at the 2019 American Music Awards and he is definitely one of the men I am most looking forward to seeing on this red carpet tomorrow night. For a while now Chadwick has always been someone who takes fashion risks and steps out of your typical box of how men are expected to dress on the red carpet. So for tomorrow nights red carpet I decided to go to this steel grey satin Dior Man Spring 2020 Menswear suit which features an asymmetrical double breasted blazer which features a stone grey half shawl lapel into a panel down the inside of the front flap, a single button, and a half notch lapel and a pair of matching pants. This look pushes the standard suit into something interesting and I feel that is exactly the kind of look that Chadwick likes to bring to the red carpet. Now I did go back and forth of whether or not this suit was too formal for a movie star to wear for a music awards. Chadwick could very easily rock jeans and a biker jacket, another of his favored red carpet looks, but I feel like go for the glam or go home. Christina Aguilera will debuting her second collaboration with A Great Big World with a performance at the 2019 American Music Awards tomorrow night. The two are most known for their hit song “Say Something” from a couple of years ago. I was a huge fan of the hauntingly beautiful song then and I am really excited to see what their new single will be. Now I am hoping that the super fashON Christina that we saw front row at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall 2019 shows like Jean Paul Gaultier and Viktor & Rolf back in July on this red carpet. That being said I didn’t find anything from those runways that I think would be right for Christina, but I still wanted to see her wearing a major label so I found this 
With her movie Knives Out coming out for a Thanksgiving weekend opening it does not surprise me that Katherine Langford will be one of the many presenters at the 2019 American Music Awards this weekend. I am intrigued to see what she will bring to this red carpet. Sometimes I feel like Katherine comes right up to the line of really dazzling me and then always leaves me wanting more. To be honest I don’t expect her to give a super major moment on this red carpet because as an actress on the music red carpet I think she will go for something more classic and simplistic. That is why I turned into this black Lanvin Spring 2020 RTW strapless slit wool-silk blend midi dress which features a fold over neckline, a tapered fit, an asymmetrical leg slit, an an asymmetrical hemline. This look is beautiful, simple, and glamorous which is exactly what I think Katherine should be delivering on this red carpet. Lady Gaga is not confirmed to perform, present, or attend the 2019 American Music Awards, but since she is nominated for two AMA’s I would still LOVE to see one of my red carpet queens on the red carpet. We haven’t really seen Gaga on a red carpet since her hosting gig at the 2019 Met Gala back in May. I don’t blame her for taking some time off after she did the dog and pony show all awards season long, which ultimately ended up with her walking home with an Academy Award. Now for the AMA’s I decided to go for a super bold look for Gaga, but one that by her standards is quite simple, with this hot pink Tom Ford Spring 2020 RTW ensemble which features a molded enamel sleeveless asymmetrical high neck crop top and a matching silk paper bag waist maxi skirt. This look mixes that 90’s minimalism vibe we have been seeing on the runways a lot recently with this almost Jetson like futuristic vibe that really makes this a stand out look. Now while I would love to see Gaga walk the red carpet something tells me that if she does attend the AMA’s tomorrow night that she will sneak in a side door and just be photographed in the audience or on the stage if she wins. I think that this look works either way. I would style the look with a dramatic sleek high side parted bouffant updo, smokey eyes, matching pink lips, a pair of 
Finishing out this list is Maya Hawke who has had a major breakout year. I am really excited to see what she will wear on the red carpet at the American Music Awards tomorrow night where she will be acting as a presenter. Maya has this bohemian glam sense of style and I really wanted to make sure that the look I picked for her would fit that aesthetic perfectly. Enter this black and navy Alberta Ferretti Spring 2020 RTW ensemble which features a silk habotai jewel neck caped crop with an embellished neckline and a pair of paillette embellished tulle high waisted flared trousers. This look is dark and glamorous but still light and bohemian and that is exactly what I want to see from Maya on the American Music Awards red carpet. I loved this look the moment I saw it back in September and my love continues. I definitely want to see this look rocked on a red carpet and Maya is the perfect person to bring the look to life especially if paired with a sleek center parted bob, defined eyes, nude lips,
