2021 Grammy Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 2

I cannot wait to see how the Grammy Awards go off this weekend. So far in the midst of the socially distanced the Music Awards shows have done the best feeling “normal”. While some went expected with the regular set up in an empty arena while others went for more virtual continuity with green screen set stages. The Grammy Awards are expected to have multiple stages set up in and around the Staples Center complex where a major list of performers are set to showcase. I am really excited to see what the show will bring. So over the next several days you are going to see wishes for those nominated, performing, and presenting at this years show. I’m crossing my fingers for major things. Kicking things off today is this years most nominated artist Beyonce who has 9 nominations thanks to her Black is King visual album including Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Despite all of those nominations she is not one of the performers this year and I highly doubt we will see her get all dressed up for any sort of live acceptance speech should she win any of those 9 awards. When I was picking looks for the Grammy’s back before they postponed their date I picked this major glamour look which features a sheer Ese Azenabor Couture column gown which features long sleeves, intricate beading, and a plunging neckline which I wanted to style with the major black and white fur stole from the Georges Hobeika Fall 2020 Couture collection. I really wanted to see Beyonce support a young up and coming designer I found through her stylist Zerina Akers @BlackOwnedEverything she started after sourcing items from black labels (in addition to a lot more) for the Black Is King visual album. I thought this gown with that stole would give major old Hollywood vibes with a sleek rose twist retro inspired updo, thick winged eyes, bold red Pat McGrath Labs ‘Elson 2’ bold red matte lips, a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Double L 100’ patent leather & mesh strappy pointed toe pumps, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels including statement drop earrings made up of white diamond halo set Colombian emeralds and a selection of major white diamond rings. It would easily be one of my favorite Beyonce looks in a really long, long time. Especially a red carpet look. I had so many ideas for what to pick for Dua Lipa to wear for the Grammy Awards. I was originally going to go down the route of vintage Thierry Mugler Couture, but then Kim Jones made his debut as the creative director at Fendi. The moment I saw this ivory sheer pearl embellished caped column gown with a halterneck bodysuit and a dramatic train it spoke to me. It was a really cool moment that gives me regal vibes as well as rock and roll glamour. I feel like it would definitely be something that Dua would be drawn to and since she is on the list of performers in addition to being nominated for six Grammy’s including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. Her music helped get me through lockdown and I would love to see her walk away with a couple of those golden gramophones as a consolation prize. A sleek updo embellished with a Mikimoto ‘Splash’ akoya pearl and white diamond brooch, defined eyes, glossy mauve lips, a pair of metallic champagne nude Christian Louboutin ‘Mariacar’ crisscross mesh platform sandals, and Mikimoto ‘Bubbles’ akoya pearl and white diamond cluster earrings would turn this look into the perfect glamour moment for Dua to bring to the Grammy’s this year.  H.E.R. has been making the rounds this awards season with nominations at both the Golden Globe Awards and the Critics Choice Awards. Her next stop would be the Grammy’s in a normal year. She is nominated for 3 Grammy’s including Song of the Year and two Best R&B nods. She gave us more casual cool in Valentino Couture look at the Globes and a major floral beaded brocade custom Miu Miu suit for the Critics Choice Awards after wearing neon trimmed Vera Wang Chinese inspired pants looks for the Emmy’s last year. She isn’t performing, but I would still love to see her serve a major drama glam moment wearing this peach rosé avant garde ruffled Elie Saab Spring 2021 RTW column gown which features a 3/4 length cape bodice, intricate crystal embellishment, a thigh high split, and a dramatic train. It isn’t like anything else we’ve seen H.E.R. wear. She goes for more of that left of “expected” glamour for the red carpet, but I feel like this could be a really cool moment especially if it was styled with an intricate cornrow braided bun updo, defined eyes behind orange Gentle Monster ‘Chakra’ gold-toned metal cat-eye sunglasses, glossy nude lips, a pair of metallic orange Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Catia’ strappy sandals, and glamorous A & Furst ‘Bouquet’ rose-cut rose de France, citrine, pink tourmaline, and madera citrine cluster earrings.Megan Thee Stallion has been getting better and better with her red carpets lately. So when I saw that the rapper who is nominated for FOUR Grammy’s including Record of the Year and Best New Artist was going to be performing this year I wanted to make sure I was giving a major fashion moment. I went through all sorts of ideas when I was thinking about what the perfect look would be for Megan I went through a couple of ideas, but I thought about going the custom route going off the rack and picking this bronze Gucci long sleeve gown with a choker detail on the neck, a metallic sheen, a straight fit, a long length, a rear central vent and a chainmail-style construction as the inspiration. How I would customize this look for Megan would be to add a dramatic train and moving the rear vent to become a right side split to really make this a superb fashion moment for the Grammy’s red carpet. It would be edgy, glamorous, and sexy which are all adjectives I would use to describe Megan. I would style this gown with a major high afro bubble puff ponytail, smokey eyes, deep glossy burgundy lips, major black ankle strap Casadei fishnet mesh peep toe platform pumps, and a selection of major Sutra jewels including 18k blackened gold 3 row emerald hoop earrings and a ‘High Emerald’ 18k blackened gold set emerald and white diamond cocktail ring to make sure that Megan is serving a MAJOR moment from head to toe. Finishing off today is the beautiful Taylor Swift who is nominated for six Grammy’s and will be performing this weekend so I am really excited to see what she will bring to the red carpet. Despite multiple nominations since Taylor hasn’t attended a Grammy’s ceremony since 2016 when she won several for her album 1989. So I am really interested to see what she will bring this year. When she dropped Folklore and Evermore last year Taylor seemed to ignite the Cottagecore trend, and a refound love of cardigans. I’ve wanted to see what this would bring in terms of red carpet style, but Taylor has skipped pretty much all of the music awards shows during the pandemic. When I was thinking of something that I feel would fit the vibe of her recent albums, but still give us red carpet I was having a hard time coming up with the right pick. Then I watched the Valentino Spring 2021 Couture show and I immediately fell in love with this light grey slip style gown with a dramatic train paired with a copper brown knit sweater vest that was worn asymmetrically on the runway and I would keep it that way for Swiftie. Finishing out the look with a soft romantic updo, defined eyes, her signature bold red lips, gold metallic leather Aquazzura ‘Celeste’ platform crystal rope knot detailed platform ankle strap sandals, and a selection of Irene Neuwirth jewels including one of a kind ‘Tropical Flower Triple’ drop earrings made of carved mixed tourmaline, a one of a kind three stone ‘Gemmy Gem’ pink tourmaline & white diamond ring, and a one of a kind ‘Tropical Flower Triple’ carved pink tourmaline and sapphire ring would give this look is a major cottagecore glamour moment.

The 2021 Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, will air live on CBS Sunday March 14, 2021. You can see all of my wishes for this years red carpet here.

2021 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 8

Well the Golden Globe Awards are coming up in just 10 days. I am ready. I am ready for fashion and I am ready for glamour. I want to see all the nominees and presenters for this years ceremony give us MAJOR fashion moments despite the fact the show will be partially socially distanced in person and partially remote. At the Emmy Awards which took on a similar format last year. We didn’t get a whole lot of major gown looks. I hope that will be different at the Globes. I want drama, I want sequins, I want glitter, I want tulle, I want couture. Today’s set of wishes feature five phenomenal moments I pray to the fashion gods come to fruition. Shall we get into it?H.E.R. is nominated for Best Original Song thanks to “Fight For You” from Judas and the Black Messiah and I really want to see her bring a major look. Her glamour is all about meshing bohemian, rock and roll, and glamour. For her look for the Golden Globes I went with an 80’s glam inspiration with this black and white Jean Louis Sebaj Spring 2021 RTW gown which features a dramatic shawl lapel inspired asymmetrical neckline, a single long sleeve, wrap style skirt, and a thigh high split for her to bring to life for her first Golden Globe Awards red carpet. I saw this gown and thought it was super sexy yet still modest and all glamour. To make this a perfect moment I would finish the look with a sleek hairstyle with curled laid edges, defined eyes behind silver round Linda Farrow ‘Carousel C2’ sunglasses (a signature of hers), bold red lips, a pair of black leather Christian Louboutin ‘Round Chic Alta 120’ peep toe scalloped half d’orsay platform ankle strap pumps, and a wide selection of major Butani jewels including white diamond and emerald drop earrings, a sleek statement white diamond wave collar necklace, and a selection of rings including pear shaped emerald circled band trimmed in white diamonds, two white diamond and emerald flower rings, and a four row white diamond cocktail ring. Kaley Cuoco would have made her first Golden Globe Awards red carpet since the end of The Big Bang Theory. It’s crazy to me that the comedienne is just now earning her first Globe nomination thanks to her new HBO Max comedy The Flight Attendant. I would love to see the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy nominee give us frothy glamour wearing this gold and ivory silk tulle strapless Vera Wang Fall 2009 Bridal collection strapless ballgown which features flower applique detail and floral crystal embellishment details. She has long had a relationship with Vera Wang and I feel like it is a perfect pairing. I think that pulling this gown out of the archives and giving it a red carpet moment finally with a loose romantic updo, defined eyes, blush pink lips, a pair of gold leather Stuart Weitzman ‘Ellsie’ strappy sandals, and Brumani ‘Looping Shine’ collection champagne quartz and white diamond four stone drop earrings to make it feminine glamour defined from head to toe. Maria Bakalova is probably the most surprising, yet not surprising star to be nominated for a Golden Globe this year. She had a breakout role in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm and has landed herself a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. We haven’t yet seen her on an actual red carpet but she has been embraced by labels like Dior, Miu Miu, Giambattista Valli, and The Vampire’s Wife for promoting the film while still in lockdown. For the Golden Globe Awards I would love to see Maria bring this candy pink, blue, and yellow Christian Dior Spring 2019 Couture pleated gown which features of a strapless neckline, bow detail on the waist, and a short train. It is a dazzling and glamorous moment and I believe it would be a fabulous moment for Maria to bring to life on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards. I think that this is one of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s better creations and would be such a  glamorous choice. Style it with a loose romantic updo, defined eyes, rose pink lips, a pair of dark blue Aquazzura ‘Tequila 105’ crystal studded ankle strap strappy sandals, and a simple multi-cut white diamond Tiffany & Co. reverie necklace and it would be that incredibly glamorous moment. The red custom old Hollywood inspired Atelier Versace gown that Nicole Kidman wore to the 2020 Golden Globe Awards was one of my favorite looks of last year. She always brings glamour and I would expect nothing else this year where she is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television for her performance in The Undoing. I LOVED this limited series and I would love to see Nicole serve a moment as she is one of the top 3 I would say in the category with Anya Taylor Joy and Cate Blanchett. I would love to see her give us sleek elegance wearing this white Fendi Spring 2021 Couture gown which features a jewel neckline, defined shoulders, wide long sleeves, and 3D flower details that filter up from the hem. This gown needs someone with tall statuesque regal presence and we know that Nicole has it. I feel like with a sleek updo, defined eyes, rose pink lips, a white Tyler Ellis ‘Lily’ white satin clutch, a pair of white mesh & leather Christian Louboutin ‘Galativi’ pointed toe pumps, and vintage 20th century white diamond and pearl drop earrings from Fred Leighton it would just ooze sleek sophisticated glamour. Finishing out today is Viola Davis whose performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom has earned her a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama. This is her sixth Golden Globe nomination and I am always excited to see what she will bring to this red carpet. Over the years she’s worn Zac Posen, Emilio Pucci, Donna Karan Atelier, Marchesa, and Michael Kors for the Globes over the years and I am hoping she brings something major. I knew almost immediately that I wanted to pick this ice blue silk chiffon Elie Saab Spring 2021 ruched detail one shoulder gown which features a knot detail on the shoulder and a draped sash detail on the back of the waist. It is a superb moment and I can just imagine it being an absolutely glamorous goddess moment for Viola to wear for the Golden Globe Awards. I want to make this a shining star moment having Viola style this gown with an afro puff updo, defined eyes, deep glossy red lips, a silver metallic snakeskin leather Judith Leiber Couture ‘Soho’ crystal clasp clutch, a pair of chandelier crystal trimmed Aquazzura ‘Temptation 105’ peep toe slingback pumps, and dazzling white diamond David Morris feather style chandelier earrings.

The 2021 Golden Globe Awards will take place on Sunday February 28, 2021. You can see all of my wishes for this years event here.

2021 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 5

Today is mostly about the cast of The Crown, but also for Emily In Paris. It’s a day all about shows set in Europe that have casts dedicated to high fashion. I am really hoping that we see more broadcast events at the Golden Globe Awards like we saw with the cast of Schitt’s Creek do at the 2020 Emmy Awards. The cast of The Crown would be one of the best to do so. Let’s get into all of today’s wishes shall we?Emma Corrin is my favorite to take home the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama trophy. I was enamored by her portrayal of Princess Diana in the fourth season of the anthology series. I am actually very disappointed that will be all she will get as she is being replaced (as is the whole cast) in the shows final two seasons. So I want her, and her stylist Harry Lambert, to have some major fun with fashion during this awards season. As I was looking at the Valentino Pre-Fall 2021 collection and I saw this black silk slip style gown which features thin straps, an open back and a sequined neckline and immediately knew I had found my Globes gown for Emma. Now the more simplistic of this gown might lend itself to more of the Critics Choice or SAG Awards, but I feel like should Emma customize this gown to have a long train behind it to add drama. It would be a very sexy yet sophisticated moment for the young actress to bring to life for her first Golden Globe Awards. I would keep the styling of this look very modern yet glamorous with a sleek side parted updo, defined eyes, bold red lips, a black Jeffrey Levinson ‘Elina Plus’ liquid glitter clutch, a pair of black crystal embellished Valentino ‘Rockstud’ sandals, and a selection of MAJOR Repossi jewels including miss-matched earcuffs one ‘SSV’ 3 row white diamond earcuff and one ‘Luminant’ white diamond and emerald earcuff as well as a ‘Serti Sur Vide’ 2 row white diamond ring, and a ‘Brevis’ 2 pear diamond open ring to really make this a major fashion moment for Emma. Previous Golden Globe Award winner Gillian Anderson’s portrayal of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has earned her her sixth nomination. When it comes to fashion Gillian is always one to deliver glamour on the red carpet. I went through several ideas of what I thought I wanted to see from Gillian on this red carpet, but it was ultimately a deep azurite blue Safiyaa Fall 2020 RTW column gown which features an asymmetrical bodice and a crystal embellished cape detail that I thought would be the perfect moment. It is the perfect meshing of classic and modern glamour. It is absolute glamour and I know that with a sleek updo, defined eyes, bold red lips, a dark blue crystal embellished Judith Leiber Couture faceted rectangle clutch, navy glitter Aquazzura gem embellished pointed toe mules, and statement white diamond Dena Kemp leaf drop earrings it would be head to toe perfection. Josh O’Connor is one of the men this awards season I am interested in seeing bring a new and interesting moment to life on the red carpets of awards season. I feel like the title of Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama is Josh’s to loose and to accept the Globe I would love to see him serve a LOOK. The moment I saw this black Fendi Spring 2021 Couture asymmetrical buttoned up tuxedo with a ring detail on the jacket, cutout details on the cuffs of the sleeves, a white fishnet lace cuff detail, and trousers with a side split I saw it on Josh. It is a fun and fashiony take on the classic tuxedo and I know that Josh has the presence and carriage to bring this look to life. The details in this look are special enough that I wouldn’t add much to it except for a pair of black leather Fendi square toe chelsea boots. Olivia Colman has worn Stella McCartney and Emilia Wickstead on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet the last two years. While I did like the Stella gown well enough the Wickstead last year was horrendous. I know she has some major potential and I want to see her live up to it. As I planned these wishes I thought a lot about re-wearing and to be honest there aren’t many looks that Olivia ha worn that I would actually like to see her bring back to the red carpet. But there was a red Antonio Berardi cap sleeve asymmetric column gown with a small train that Olivia wore for the 2018 Venice Film Festival award ceremony (pictured left) that I could see her bringing back out. Now I still would love to see Olivia bring a glamorous and new moment to the red carpet for the 2021 Golden Globe Awards and so I turned to this midnight blue Alexander McQueen cape detailed chiffon gown with a fitted waist, jewel neck, and an a-line skirt. It is glamorous and dramatic all on it’s own, but I would love to see the team at McQueen modify this dress to have a train to add even more drama. I would finish the look with a chic pixie, defined eyes, dark rose pink lips, a navy velvet Jimmy Choo ‘Ellipse’ crystal trimmed clutch, a pair of black suede Alexander McQueen flower detailed peep toe d’orsay platform pumps, and a DAZZLING vintage 1950’s art deco scroll white diamond necklace to really make this look head to toe perfection.I think that the whole world was shocked that Lily Collins earned a Golden Globe Award nomination thanks to her performance in Emily in Paris. She has been serving up some superb looks while in lockdown and I really want to see her bring a BOLD glamour look for the Golden Globe Awards red carpet. So of course couture had to be my choice. I picked this bold neon yellow strapless ballgown from the Ashi Studio Spring 2021 Couture collection. On first glance this ballgown is all about the color and is a very simplistic look, but from behind it is a bow strap detailed open back. Now it is a big dress and could overwhelm Lily’s petite figure, but I believe that with the right tailoring and styling it would be perfection. I would style this look with a sleek rosette inspired updo embellished with with a white diamond Harry Winston cluster brooch, defined eyes, light pink lips, a pair of silver and gold Casadei ankle strap platform sandals, and a dazzling white marquis cut and yellow diamond cushion cut Harry Winston necklace to really make it a statement making moment for Lily to bring to life for the 2021 Golden Globe Awards.

The 2021 Golden Globe Awards will take place on Sunday February 28, 2021. You can see all of my wishes for this years event here.

“Coming 2 America” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Thirty three years after the original was released we are getting Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall back on the silver screen with Coming 2 America. I have to say I am really looking forward to this one. It is getting a lot of the old game back together, but also adding some new stars. So I am really disappointed that the film won’t get a big red carpet for a premiere, because I know that this cast would BRING it.Garcelle Beauvais had fallen off the map almost, but between being a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills and her return to the big screen in Coming 2 America you can bet that she is back. Now that being said I don’t know if the former would hurt her in being able to pull some major fashion moments from some of the top tier labels. That being said I was thinking about this major black Ese Azenabor Couture long sleeve gown which features an bold red and purple floral print, a thigh high split, and a dramatic train as the perfect moment for Garcelle to rock for a premiere for Coming 2 America. I wanted to bring a black designer to this look for Garcelle and regular readers will know that I am really keeping a close eye on Ese Azenabor as a rising talent. A major red carpet moment like this could really do big things for her career and I would have loved to see Garcelle bring it. Hair worn down straight and center parted, smokey eyes, deep red glossy lips, black leather Christian Louboutin ‘Loubi Queen’ ankle strap sandals, and statement jewels from IVY New York including a pair of artistically created rubellite and white diamond pendant drop earrings, a red spinel and white diamond flower cocktail ring, and a vivid red spinel and white diamond ‘Gondola’ ring would definitely made sure this look oozed glamour from head to toe. Kiki Layne is one of the new faces in the cast of Coming 2 America and given her fashion chops shown since bursting onto the scene with If Beale Street Could Talk I have to say I am so mad that COVID stole a major red carpet moment from us. I was watching the Kim Jones debut at Fendi Spring 2021 Couture and the moment I saw this blue and grey halterneck gown which features a keyhole cutout, intricate embroidered lace, and a dramatic cape I imagined it on Kiki. I feel like had there actually been a big red carpet planned for this premiere that this is definitely something her stylists Wayman & Micah would be calling in as an option for her to bring to life. I have this gown burned into my mind for Kiki that I cannot think of anyone else I would want to see wearing it. It’s definitely one of those mentally reserved moments. An intricate asymmetric braided updo, defined eyes, deep berry burgundy lips, a pair of crystal embellished black suede Jimmy Choo ‘Emsy 100’ peep toe cross strap d’Orsay stiletto sandals, and Nikos Koulis ‘Yesterday’ collection white gold long drop earrings with white diamonds, black enamel and black onyx would have definitely made sure that his was a MAJOR fashion moment on a major red carpet.

Coming 2 America will hit Amazon Prime Video on March 5, 2021.

10 Best Collections of Spring 2021 – Fendi

Earlier this year it was announced that Kim Jones would be taking over Fendi. Since Karl Lagerfeld died Silvia Venturini Fendi has been helming the label that bears her family name. I have to say that each season has been better than the past and this collection has to be hands down my favorite not just from her tenure as sole creative director, but my favorite collection of the Spring 2021 season. I don’t think she, nor the house, needs Kim Jones to be successful. Silvia has been able to do at Fendi what Virginie Viard has not been able to do at Chanel. She is able to take inspiration from the late Lagerfeld and turn it into her own. She isn’t doing Fendi by Lagerfeld, but is using his memory as a jumping point. In a pre show interview with VOGUE Runway she said “This reminded me of Karl. He had a love for bed linen, he had a big collection.” That is exactly what she delivered. It was the ultimate lockdown luxe without compromising the houses tailoring. If we go back into a global pandemic lockdown again I would definitely want to wear the clothes that she sent down the runway in this collection. I was especially happy with the superb duvet inspired coats that did evoke the idea that the model had grabbed their comforter and walked down the runway, but that comforter was the most luxe thing ever created. There was a bit of a lingerie and sleepwear inspiration in many of the pieces that came down the runway. But it didn’t have an air of trash. It was all about strength and confidence with nods to sensuality. Even in the menswear looks we saw looks that evoked that same spirit. When it comes to seeing this collection on a red carpet there are definitely looks and pieces I would love to see stylists option, but ultimately I feel like this collection is much more geared toward a consumer than to the celebrity. My first wish is an excellent example of the more consumer side of this collection. This black suit which features a double breasted military inspired bodice blazer with structured peplum hips, and wide a-line sleeves and an a-line skirt with a split is definitely bankable. I feel like women in board rooms all over the world could make this look work. I definitely imagined Angelina Jolie pulling this suit off the runway and wearing it to one of the UN Goodwill Ambassador events that she attends regularly. Her signature soft waves, defined eyes, red lips, a pair of black leather Christian Louboutin ‘Hot Chick’ scalloped detail pointed toe stiletto pumps, and a vintage white diamond bow and tassel brooch from Beladora would definitely put this look together perfectly for Angie.

To completely counter balance Angie I also see Billie Eilish rocking this soft grey floral chiffon pattern ensemble which features a car coat, button down shirt, and high waisted shorts. It’s a softer look for Billie, but I feel like it is totally within her wheelhouse. It would put her back up on the fashionista track. She can pull good labels I just want to see her not always wear a variation on the same thing. This ensemble is cool and I can definitely picture it being a major fashion moment for Billie with a pair of silver Fenty ‘Side Eye’ crystal vine detail sunglasses and white Christian Louboutin ‘Red Runner Donna Flat’ sneakers. There were several looks from this collection that screamed more causal than big red carpet looks. One was this sandy yellow and mud brown printed a-line dress which feature handkerchief cap sleeves, cutout sides & back, defined banded waist, and a below the knee length. It is a very chic fashion moment and something I could see Sarah Paulson rocking it for a more casual appearance. I would make it a little more glamorous styling it with a side parted blunt bob, defined eyes, light pink lips, a gold crystal embellished Judith Leiber smooth rectangle clutch, a pair of metallic gold leather Aquazzura ‘Gin 140’ platform chunky heel strappy sandals, and quirky yet glamorous Irene Neuwirth ‘Clementine Pavé’ drop earrings which feature hand-carved orange carnelian halves adorn with 18k white gold and diamond pavé bar with three 18k yellow gold leaves to really make this a super chic moment for Sarah.

I can also see this collection being a hit with many of the royals around the world. I think that the crisp tailoring in this collection is definitely something that the Royals would be drawn to. The chic sophistication of Fendi is on full display in this bold red military inspired pencil dress which features a high jewel neckline and a-line 3/4 length sleeves. It would be a gorgeous look on the absolutely gorgeous Queen Rania of Jordan. She has a very chic and sharp sense of style and I definitely can see her wearing this dress with glamorous waves, defined eyes, nude pink lips, and a pair of red crocodile embossed leather Jimmy Choo ‘Love 100’ pointed toe pumps. Silvia also showed her menswear on the runway this season after forgoing her slot on the runway during the menswear shows in July. There were definitely some super chic tailored moments. One that I loved was the black pajama inspired look which features a polo collar, cutout lace like details, large pockets, and straight leg trousers. It is a super chic look especially giving the world we live in. This look could go from the couch to date night to the red carpet. Machine Gun Kelly immediately came to mind when I was thinking who would be the perfect person to wear this look for a red carpet especially styled with a pair of black and white Christian Louboutin ‘Aurelien Strass Flat’ crystal embellished sneakers.

Finishing out the wishes from this collection is easily one of my favorite looks from the collection. If I was a woman I would definitely put this black and white ensemble which features a sheer floral embellished tank top layered over a white tank top and styled with a white tea length feathered skirt and a duvet inspired coat in my closet. Each piece has seemingly endless possibilities. Now I REALLY want to see this look hit the red carpet. It was one of my favorite looks this season. Now for the red carpet I would hand this look over to Yara Shahidi, minus the duvet coat. Yara has rocked some Fendi looks in the past and I would totally entrust her to make this a major fashON moment. Style it with big bouncy curly, smokey eyes, deep antique rose pink lips, a pair of white Amina Muaddi ‘Zula’ PVC trimmed strappy sculpted heel sandals, and a pop of color via Gismondi 1754 ‘Orecchini’ one of a kind emerald and white diamond drop earrings to really make this a MAJOR fashion moment. I couldn’t talk about this collection without quickly touching on the bags. Fendi is a bag house and this season Silvia shut down the bags. They were so amazing. I loved the yellow half mood bag, the lace veiled Baguette’s, and the crocheted evening bags. These bags are statements. They aren’t your standard ‘Peekaboo’ or ‘Baguette’ styles that Fendi sells internationally by the boat load. These are bags for the real rich ladies. These are bags that will be worth something one day.

2020 Venice Film Festival: Tilda Swinton Tribute Gala Red Carpet Wish List

Before I finish out my wishes for the 2020 Venice Film Festival with the closing ceremony wishes tomorrow I want to talk about what could be at the gala where the festival will honor Tilda Swinton with an honorary Golden Lion Award. In a statement about being given this honor Swinton said: “This great festival has been dear to my heart for three decades: to be honoured by her in this way is extremely humbling. To come to Venice, this year of all years, to celebrate immortal cinema and her defiant survival in the face of all the challenges that evolution might throw at her – as at us all – will be my sincere joy.” I always love seeing Tilda Swinton on the red carpet so I am hoping that she will have two different red carpets for her film premiere and the award presentation. For the photocall ahead of the award I would love to see Tilda wearing this winter white Fendi Fall 2020 RTW strong structured short sleeve midi dress which features a pleated a-line skirt. It is a super strong look and fully within Tilda’s usual wheelhouse. I can picture it being a major look with her flame orange red hair, defined eyes, bold orange lips, and a pair of white Fendi ‘FFreedom’ square toe mens loafer inspired sculptural slingback pumps. Now for the premiere I went with something that is much more statement making. This bold pink and red Valentino Spring 2020 Couture gown which features a dramatically ruffled bodice, cummerbund waist, column skirt, and a dramatic train. It is definitely a risk. It isn’t exactly what we are used to seeing from Tilda, much more super girly than androgynous, but I can imagine Tilda making it a major moment. I almost want to see it made custom for her in all Valentino red instead of pink. It would be much more in line with her signature sense of style. The custom red gown styled with a sleek side parted hairstyle, defined eyes, bold red lips, and a pair of red satin Manolo Blahnik ‘LALA’ crystal detailed pointed toe strappy pumps would be the dramatically glamorous moment I know that Tilda loves to bring to life on the red carpet. Today’s wish for Cate Blanchett to wear in Venice is easily my favorite. The moment I saw this black stretchy black crepe Stephane Rolland Fall 2020 Couture sheath gown and features gigantic black gazar ruffled petals with a “caviar and diamonds” embroidery, a cutout back, and a completely covered front I knew I wanted it to be a major moment for Cate in Venice. She’s never given us a Stephane Rolland Couture moment on the red carpet, but I can just imagine her on the Lido red carpet giving us all the glamorous drama wearing this gown. Because the gown is such a statement I would love to see Cate style it with a sleek side parted updo, defined eyes, bold red lips, black Aquazzura pointed toe silver crystal embellished half d’Orsay pumps, and a selection of Chopard jewels including a pair of Chopard Loves Rihanna pear shaped white diamond earcuffs and a Red Carpet Collection white diamond and emerald cocktail ring. Ludivine Sagnier is known for being a little unpredictable on if she will wear a gown on the red carpet. So I decided to go short for this wish picking this super sexy black Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2020 ruched fitted cocktail dress which features thin straps, bow detail on the bodice, and a pleated flared hem. I feel like this is definitely something I feel like Ludivine would be drawn to and a super chic moment for her to wear on the Venice Film Festival red carpet. I would finish this look with old Hollywood waves, defined eyes, bold red lips, a black Roger Vivier ‘Marlene’ crystal fringe embellished box clutch, a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Jonatina’ leather and PVC ankle strap sandals, and Bulgari ‘Barocko’ white diamond and emerald bow detailed drop earrings to really make sure that Ludivine oozes sensual glamour from head to toe. Picking looks for Diane Kruger to represent Armani on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival is definitely a pipe dream. Diane has been quarantined in the United States with her partner Norman Reedus and their young baby. So she won’t be allowed into Italy due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. If she were I would LOVE to see her represent Armani in Venice. I have always loved Diane and her sense of style and the two looks from the Armani Prive archives I would love to see her bring to life on the red carpet are major moments. Let’s start with the white beaded silk one shoulder gown from the Armani Prive Spring 2007 Couture collection which features a beaded arm cuff, cutout stomach, and wrap style column skirt. I definitely love this sexy take on classic glamour. I feel like everything about this look screams Diane’s take on glamour especially if styled with a sleek retro updo, defined eyes, soft pink lips, a white crystal embellished Alexander McQueen spider crystal clasp box clutch, a pair of white crystal embellished satin Gianvito Rossi ‘Glam’ ankle strap sandals, and a pair of Chopard Red Carpet Collection 2020 white diamond and emerald floral meets art deco inspired drop earrings. The second look I’ve picked for her is this lavender and black Armani Prive Spring 2016 Couture gown which features a sheer ruffle covered bodice, thin straps, and a sequin detailed tiered skirt. I have always been a huge fan of this gown and would love to see someone bring it to life on the red carpet. I would love to see Diane be that person. I can imagine her really infusing her glam into this look and giving it the major red carpet moment it deserves. A half up half down sleek retro hairstyle, smokey eyes, light pink glossy lips, a black Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ satin ball clasp crystal trimmed box clutch, simple black suede Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ ankle strap sandals, and a pair of dazzling white diamond Chopard Red Carpet Collection 2020 floral heart drop earrings would definitely make sure this look is glamour defined for Diane.

2020 Venice Film Festival: Opening Ceremony and “The Ties (Lacci) Photocall & Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

In just under one month the Venice Film festival will kick off. It is the first film festival we’ve seen since Berlin back in February. I am so excited, as you all already know. It may not boast the most star studded selection ever, but I’m craving all the glamour we we can get. So I am really excited. Will we see Best Dressed of the Year worthy looks out of Venice? Since I launched this blog back in 2011 four looks from Venice have made my Best Dressed of the Year list, but with Cannes and the Emmy’s cancelled (along with pretty much everything else) I am really intrigued to see what Venice will bring. Cannes has always held at least one spot on my Best Dressed of the Year list so I have a feeling that spot will go to Venice this year. Shall we get into the wishes I have to make the Opening Ceremony gala premiere of The Ties (Lacci) super glamorous in the midst of the global pandemic? The film stars Italian actress Alba Rohrwacher, whom I first took notice of wearing Louis Vuitton & Valentino at the 2014 Venice Film Festival. She has a very distinct IDGAF vibe about her and honestly she isn’t the most exciting person style wise, but I am going to take whatever is given to me. For the photocall for Lacci ahead of the big gala opening ceremony premiere I decided to go for more of a military vibe for Alba picking this grey Fendi Fall 2020 RTW long sleeve shirt dress which features an asymmetrical harness belt detail. I don’t know what it was about this look that spoke to be for Alba as it isn’t something I feel we would normally see her wear, but I felt like it just worked. It could be a great look for her to do something different with her beauty look giving us a sleek side parted updo, defined eyes, and bold red lips. Finishing this dress with a pair of black mesh Fendi ‘Colibri’ pointed toe slingback pumps would definitely put Alba on top form. For the premiere I went for something more obviously in Alba’s wheelhouse with this bold red Valentino Spring 2020 Couture long sleeve fit to flare gown which features a high neck and a small train. I honestly had to check to see if this was the gown I picked for Alba to wear in Cannes had it happened earlier this year. It screams modern glam and I do feel deep in my soul that this is exactly what we are going to see Alba bring to life on the Lido red carpet in Venice this year. I would be quite happy with that finishing the look with her signature messy updo, defined eyes, bold red lips, a pair of red Valentino ‘Rogue’ crystal embellished scalloped pointed toe pumps, and simple Chopard ‘Precious’ collection white diamond and ruby arabesque wing earrings. Laura Morante is an Italian film actress and also stars alongside Alba Rohrwacher in The Ties (Lacci) and I am really intrigued to see what she will wear in Venice. I am putting a lot of faith in the stars of international cinema to bring the glamour to this years festival. We’ve seen Laura invited to sit front row at shows for Christian Dior and Armani Prive so she has some fashion credibility on her side. To promote The Ties in Venice I knew I wanted to pick two super glamorous moment for Laura. I started with this dazzling white sequin No. 21 Resort 2021 sleeveless asymmetrically ruched knee length dress. I love me a good No. 21 look and unfortunately they are an underrated label to rock on the red carpet. So when I was thinking of the perfect looks for this Italian beauty to wear in Venice I knew I wanted a super chic Italian designer for at least one of those looks. When I saw this sequined dress I would love to see her style it with a chic romantic bagged casual updo, simple white diamond drop earrings, defined eyes, antique rose pink lips, and a pair of strappy white patent leather No. 21 pointed silver cap toe pumps. For the premiere I went for effortless elegance opting for this smokey lavender Christian Dior Spring 2020 Couture pleated chiffon gown which features a jewel neckline, a cape tunic bodice, and a flowing skirt. This look isn’t about drama it’s just about elegance and I feel like Laura would look gorgeous wearing this look on the red carpet in Venice. I would finish this look with a chic teased bouffant like updo, smokey eyes, soft pink lips, a silver crystal embellished Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch with a crystal ball clasp, a pair of silver leather Roger Vivier ‘I Love Vivier’ crystal ball detailed ankle strap sandals, and a selection of Bulgari ‘Barroko’ collection jewels including a pair of dazzling white diamond drop earrings and a statement intricate geometric cut white diamond cuff bracelet to make sure that Laura delivers glamour from head to toe. Cate Blanchett is the president of this years Venice Film Festival main competition jury. I am sure she will be delivering nothing but dramatic glamour from the moment she touches down at the airport to the moment she leaves the city of canals. Over the last two years we have gotten used to seeing Cate in Venice as a face of Giorgio Armani Beauty, which is a sponsor of the festival. I know that we are going to see her bringing some superb Armani moments to the festival red carpet over the course of her reign over the jury. Due to COVID-19 the Italian couturier decided to forego a presentation for couture, instead waiting until January of 2021 to show couture again. So I went shopping the archives of the brand for Cate. I have wanted to see her wearing this bold red Armani Prive Fall 2014 Couture cap sleeve ballgown which features a cap sleeve top overlay since it was first presented. In fact I used this as a wish for her to wear hot off the runway for the 2014 Berlin Film Festival. Well she hasn’t yet and no one else has either, so as I was picking the perfect looks for her to wear in Venice this year I knew that this was the perfect option for her to wear for the festivals Opening Ceremony. I know that with a sleek retro updo, thick defined eyes, soft pink lips, a pair of red Gianvito Rossi crystal embellished ankle strap d’Orsay pointed toe pumps, and statement Chopard Red Carpet Collection 2019 white diamond and ruby three row chandelier earrings that Cate would make sure that she kicks off the festival in high style. French actress Ludivine Sagnier will serve on the Venice Film Festival main competition jury alongside Cate and I am really interested to see what she will bring to the red carpets. She has given us looks from some of the most coveted red carpet brands including Celine, Miu Miu, and Louis Vuitton. To kick off her time in Venice I went to a super sleek and extremely glamorous moment opting for this white Atelier Versace Fall 2020 Couture strapless gown which features subtle crystal embellishments, seaming details, a short split, and a train that is barely there. I feel like this sleek glam moment is definitely something that I could see Ludivine being drawn to. I want to see it used as a canvas for a major necklace moment with a Bulgari ‘Barocko’ collection multi-colored emerald cut fancy stone and white diamond collar necklace. It would be a real statement for Ludivine to make on this red carpet. A romantic updo, defined eyes, medium pink lips, a white satin Christian Louboutin ‘Palmette’ clutch, and a pair of white satin Christian Louboutin ‘Loubi Queen’ ankle strap sandals would add the perfect finishing touches to this look. Anna Foglietta will serve as the hostess for the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2020 Venice Film Festival. The Italian actress isn’t a stranger to the festival and I am interested in seeing what she will wear for the festival. Many of the mistresses of ceremonies have worn Armani Prive for the opening ceremony since Armani Beauty has been one of the presenting sponsors of the festival. So I turned to the Armani Prive Spring 2020 Couture collection to pick the perfect look for Anna to wear on the red carpet at the Opening Ceremony. I love this deep blue strapless a-line gown which features ruffled details on the neckline and waist, intricate crystal embellishments, and a tulle layered skirt. It is super glamorous and I definitely think that it fits perfectly with what I’ve seen on Anna’s sense of style. The look would be styled perfectly for the Venice red carpet with a loose romantic updo, navy smokey eyes, pink lips, a navy satin Giorgio Armani ‘La Prima’ clutch, a pair of navy velvet Francesco Russo platform t-strap sandals, and a sleek yet glamorous Pomellato ‘Pavé Sublime’ circle necklace made up of 1,706 white diamonds.Armani Beauty just released another campaign staring Barbara Palvin. So I would imagine that the Hungarian model will be attending her third straight Venice Film Festival to walk the red carpets as a guest of Armani. Honestly I’m not a big fan of Barbara’s style, but I always hold out hope that she will wow me this year included. Armani girls usually walk two red carpets over the course of the festival so I picked two looks for Barbara to wear on the red carpets in her time at the festival starting with this strapless black velvet Armani Prive Fall 2016 Couture tiered ballgown which features a crystal embellished knotted rope detail on the waist, and crystal embellishments on the horsehair crinoline underskirt. I can’t think of a time we’ve ever seen Barbara wearing a ballgown on the red carpet so this is definitely pushing the envelope for her, but I feel like the message of go big or go home would definitely apply with this look. I feel like that going for that classic glamour with this look styling it with a sleek retro updo, defined eyes, bold red lips, a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Round Chick’ half d’Orsay peep toe ankle strap platform pumps, and Chopard Red Carpet Collection 2019 white diamond paisley disco earrings with emerald details would definitely make this one of Barbara’s best red carpet moments ever. For the second look I would like to see Barbara to wear while promoting Armani in Venice I went deep into the brands Ready-to-Wear archives and picked this silver mirrored stripe fit to flare sleeveless gown which features a plunging rounded scoop neckline from the Giorgio Armani Fall 2007 RTW collection. I definitely feel like this gown is more in tune with Barbara’s style. She pulled an archive moment for last years Venice red carpet and I think that this would definitely be a great premiere moment for this year. Now this dress is definitely on the sportier side of glam so I would finish the look with a sleek high ponytail, defined eyes, glossy nude pink lips, black Christian Louboutin ‘Loubi Queen’ ankle strap sandals, and major Chopard jewels including a pair of white diamond Chopard Loves Rihanna earcuffs, and a statement zigzag white diamond Red Carpet Collection cuff bracelet to make sure that Barbara really dazzles on the Venice Film Festival red Carpet.

The 2020 Venice Film Festival will open on Wednesday September 2, 2020 and runs through Saturday September 12, 2020. You can see all my Venice Film Festival wishes here.

2020 Venice Film Festival: Cate Blanchett Boat Style Red Carpet Wish List

Today we start the road to the first film festival of the fall. I always get excited about Venice and this year I am even more excited knowing it will be an in person event complete with socially distanced red carpets. Before I get into the glamour of the red carpets I wanted to make some casual wishes for Cate Blanchett. The Australian actress is the president of this years Venice Film Festival main competition jury and I am super excited. I want to put as many wishes out there for her as possible. She will be making the city her home for 10 days and undoubtedly there will be moments where we see Cate snapped riding from her hotel to screening venues and jury meetings on the glamorous wood built water taxis. So I’ve picked four casual moments I would love to see her bring to life starting with this Dries Van Noten Fall 2020 RTW dress which features a dark green snake print and a bright blue and dark green plaid print. The sleeveless dress which features a gathered asymmetric ruffled detail from the neckline to the hemline is honestly one of my favorite dresses from the Fall 2020 RTW collections. It needs a special woman to really make the look come across as effortless and that is exactly why I want to see Cate wear it. I can just imagine the photos of Cate heading off the dock into the boat wearing this dress with a wavy bob, defined eyes, glossy nude lips, a black snakeskin Gucci ‘Zumi’ medium top handle bag, classic black leather Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pointed toe pumps, and square gold frame Gucci smoke lens sunglasses. It could be an iconic casual style moment in the making. Speaking of creating a potential iconic casual style moment in the making why not pull couture for a casual appearance? When I first started cultivating the idea of a boat style wish list for Cate I knew immediately I wanted to include this Fendi Fall 2019 Couture suede ensemble which features a honey brown wide collar blouse and taupe straight leg trousers. I would drop the fur duster coat because, well, it is still technically summer and there is no need for it. The suede is warm as it is, but I feel like Cate would definitely be able to sell this look to me with effortless ease. Style it with a wavy bob, light pink lips, a Fendi ‘Peekaboo Iconic’ medium top handle back made of brown Cuoio Romano leather that features a front panel finished with black leather and beige mink, laser-cut and inlaid with a diamond motif, a brown leather partition with embossed FF motif, gold-finish hardware, a pair of gold snakeskin Aquazzura ‘Forever’ cut out detailed pointed toe pumps, and brown Alexander McQueen tortoise shell cat eye thick rimmed sunglasses and I know this would definitely be an ICONIC casual style moment.

Look #3 in my Boat style wishes for Cate to wear in Venice is this white cotton Petar Petrov Resort 2021 asymmetrical a-line calf length dress which gives distinct menswear inspired vibes with an asymmetrical cold shoulder neckline, 3/4 wide sleeves, and a think black belted waist. I love a mens shirting inspired fashion moment and I adore this one. I know that Cate would definitely make this a super chic moment with a wavy bob, daytime defined eyes, bold red lips, a Celine ‘Medium 16’ satinated calfskin top handle bag with silver hardware, statement black and white spotted Burberry calf hair pointed toe pumps, and retro black and silver Linda Farrow cat-eye sunglasses.

Finally we have another menswear inspired moment with a lot of femininity interwoven. I would love to see Cate represent an Aussie brand on the red carpet in Venice and this cream linen pinstripe suit from the Zimmermann Resort 2021 collection which features a double breasted jacket, a semi sheer stripped button down long sleeve blouse with a dramatic ruffled collar, and high waisted wide leg pants would definitely do that. We’ve never seen Cate wear a look from Zimmermann before, but I would definitely love to see her bring the glamour to the boats of Venice wearing this look. It is chic and sophisticated and I would definitely love it styled with a wavy bob, soft pink lips, a brown and beige Louis Vuitton ‘Montaigne MM’ monogrammed top handle bag, nude Gianvito Rossi patent leather & plexi peep toe d’orsay sandals, and a pair of Cartier Eyewear dark brown tortoise shell square oversized sunglasses.

The 2020 Venice Film Festival will open on Wednesday September 2, 2020 and runs through Saturday September 12, 2020.

Jennifer Lopez to wear the Fall 2020 RTW Collections

I’m not going to lie to you. Now that all my Met Wishes and the Cannes Film Festival wishes are over I have been digging for content to bring you. I have some ideas and the calendar is still planned out for now, but not everything is going to be about events that are cancelled or even about wishes at all. Today I went through the casual folder of my runway archive looking at the Fall 2020 RTW collections for looks I would love to see Jennifer Lopez bring to life. When it comes to personal style Jennifer Lopez brings some major fashion moments. Over the years on the sidewalks we have seen JLo bring everything from off the runway looks to tracksuits and sports bra’s for her street style. She always looks phenomenal. I’ve picked six looks below that are perfect for JLo to rock for everything from school pick up to heading to a business meeting and then styled them the way I would if I were dressing her. So let’s get into it shall we?Brandon Maxwell: I couldn’t create a casual style wish list for JLo and not include this Brandon Maxwell Fall 2020 RTW ensemble which consists of an army green speckled cashmere-blend sweater dress layered over dark wash straight leg jeans. This was one of those immediate looks that I wanted to see JLo wear. I quickly put the wish out into the universe in one of my wishes from New York Fashion Weeks. I loved how Brandon styled the look hiking up the dress and making have more of a tunic top vibe than a dress vibe. I would imagine JLo walking the streets of New York in early winter wearing this look with the runways army green belted waist, a sleek blowout, defined eyes behind Coach ‘Signature Retro’ dark tortoise sunglasses, burgundy lips, a brass and straw chalk Coach ‘Hutton’ shoulder bag with 3D leather tea roses, and milk chocolate croc embossed leather Jimmy Choo ‘Minori 100’ pointed toe stiletto boots. It would be magical.

Celine: This Celine Fall 2020 RTW leopard print caftan style asymmetrical midi dress is definitely in stark contrast to the Brandon Maxwell look. It is definitely fierce but in a more bohemian manner. The look screams JLo to me and if styled in the right way. Imagine Jennifer getting off of her personal jet in Miami wearing this look styled with a black Celine ‘Medium 16’ grained calfskin top handle bag, a sleek high ponytail, glossy nude pink lips, a pair of black Celine ‘Sharp’ suede crystal striped pointed toe pumps, and black Celine oversized acetate sunglasses.

Christopher John Rogers: JLo in color is major. She wore a similar color in a hot off the runway Sally LaPointe look earlier this year for a stop of Oprah’s gratefulness tour. So when I saw this goldenrod yellow Christopher John Rogers Fall 2020 RTW ensemble which features a ruffled button down blouse and matching wide leg trousers I thought it would be a MAJOR business boss lady moment for JLo. The color is fantastic and if styled with a casual updo, defined eyes, soft pink lips, a matching goldenrod yellow Alberta Ferretti logo buckled croc leather top handle bag, a pair of metallic gold Casadei ‘Blade Modern Love’ pointed toe pumps, statement yellow Linda Farrow ‘Des Voeux’ yellow gold plated titanium cat-eye frame sunglasses, and Jennifer Fischer ‘Baby Samira’ 14k gold 1.5 inch hoops I know that Jennifer would have another major fashion moment on her hands. Dries Van Noten: When it comes to celebrities Dries Van Noten is aw very underrated designer. His creations always spark joy for me. I always get excited about his collections and I always wish for his looks to be made into major star style moments. I was looking at this green snakeskin and blue and green plaid draped midi dress from the Dries Van Noten Fall 2020 RTW collection and when I thought of it on Jennifer I knew it had the potential to be a major moment. It isn’t a typical look that comes to mind when I think of her style, but I really do think that she would bring this look to life with ease. Blown out bouncy waves, defined eyes, soft pink glossy lips, a lake blue leather Coach ‘Tabby 20’ top handle bag with brass hardware, emerald green snakeskin Gianvito Rossi ‘Plexi’ PVC paneled pointed toe pumps, and a pair of sapphire blue crystal Atelier Swarovski ‘Tigris’ double hoop earrings would add the perfect finishing touches to this look.

Fendi: This Fendi Fall 2020 RTW ensemble which features a thick nude pink cable skit turtleneck sweater with 3/4 voluminous sleeves and an olive green button up a-line pleated skirt was been a favorite of mine since it was first presented. It’s a super feminine and elegant moment and I can definitely see Jennifer rocking this look for a date night with fiance Alex Rodriguez. She would definitely infuse her sensuality into this super feminine moment styling it with a sleek high ponytail, defined eyes, rose pink lips, a beige leather Fendi ‘Peekaboo Iconic’ large top handle bag, a pair of nude pink suede Christian Louboutin ‘Galativi’ crystal trimmed and mesh paneled pointed toe pumps, and statement rose gold Le Sepecs Luxe ‘Semi-Charmed’ large cat-eye sunglasses with browline detail.

Tom Ford: The final look in this wish would definitely be the most dramatic street style moment if JLo decided to snatch it right off the runway. I love this Tom Ford Fall 2020 RTW ensemble which features a black and white tie-dye silk caftan high low blouse and a pair of grey high rise cotton sweatpants. It is a major style moment. I would love to see Jennifer rock this look with a black Nike cutout light support non padded sports bra, sleek high ponytail, defined eyes, nude glossy lips, a black Hermes ‘Birkin’ bag, a pair of black, white, and red Christian Louboutin ‘Red Runner Donna’ glittered lace-up sneakers, and statement black Linda Farrow ‘Lerretta’ winged sunglasses.

Each of these I think speaks to a different side of Jennifer’s style. Each would make for a major fashion moment. So tell me which one of these looks do you want to see Jennifer bring to life on the worlds sidewalk runways?

2020 Cannes Film Festival What Could Have Been Wish List: “Tenet”

Christopher Nolan’s latest film Tenet seemed to be destined for a gala opening at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival. The director has screened at the festival several times over the years and was heavily rumored, and all but confirmed by the festival director, to have nabbed one of the coveted spots this year. Instead Warner Bros. Pictures is hoping that with a new release date of July 17, 2020 that the film will spark people’s return to the movies this summer reviving the theatrical box office. Tenet is an action epic revolving around international espionage, time travel, and evolution. Possibly about a man trying to prevent World War 3 through time travel and rebirth. It sounds like a great storyline, and I am interested to see it when it finally releases, but until then let’s fantasize about what could have been in Cannes shall we?
