The Grammy Awards are always one of the most fun red carpets of the year. I’ve always been excited to see what the stars will bring and I have to say that is still true this year. I have been quite happy with many of the previous music awards events. I want to see everyone bring GLAMOUR and DRAMA to the “red carpet” at the Grammy Awards this year, whatever it will look like. I have some major moments in my wishes this year and several of them are in today’s set. Are you ready to get into them with me? 
Ariana Grande is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Lady Gaga for their hit song Rain On Me. It is the only nomination Ari earned this year and she is not performing. What does that mean? Well I would say that means that we won’t be seeing her on a red carpet this year, but with the whole “red carpet from home” idea we’ve seen I hope that she will serve up a chic look on Instagram. When thinking about what I would love to see Ari wear for the Grammy’s red carpet I thought that going short with this sleeveless ice blue Elie Saab Spring 2021 Couture halter skater style dress with intricate beaded floral embroidery, an a line skirt covered in feathers, and a tulle train would be perfect. It’s fun, flirty, and a little ice capades-y and I think those are all thinks that are perfectly in tune with Ariana’s style. I think with her signature high pony, defined winged cat eyes, rose pink lips, silver crystal embellished PVC Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Catia’ ankle wrap sandals, and a pair of white diamond Butani cluster earrings that this look would scream youthful, flirty glamour from head to toe. 
I’ve been so excited about what Doja Cat would wear for the Grammy’s since I started to get to know her style over the fall. She has rocked major moments from Versace, Givenchy, Vivienne Westwood, and Georges Hobeika Haute Couture for the different music award shows last fall and it is just leaving me really excited to see what the Record of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Solo Pop Performance nominee will bring to the Grammy’s, especially since she will be there in person as a performer. I went for two looks one for the “red carpet” and one for the stage to accept any award that she might take home. For the red carpet I’ve had my heart set on this white and silver Viktor & Rolf Spring 2021 Couture ensemble which features a heavily embellished bralet over a cropped white puffy sleeve button down and a high waisted tiered ball skirt since I first saw it. I feel like this gown is the perfect meshing of 80’s DRAMA and sex appeal in a very modern way. Doja is a fashion chameleon and I feel like she could definitely make it work. I would style this ensemble with a sleet retro inspired updo, defined eyes, wine red lined matte red lips, a pair of white Amina Muaddi ‘Zula’ PVC-trimmed and white leather strappy sandals, and a selection of major Lorraine Schwartz jewels including ‘Lightning bolt’ white diamond cluster earrings, a halo set three stone white diamond ring, a white diamond spear head coil ring, and a halo set marquis cut white diamond cocktail ring. Now all that being said I would say that after Doja was virtually front row at the Givenchy Fall 2021 RTW collection presentation this week I would imagine that she will definitely be rocking a Givenchy look for the show this weekend. While I would still love to see that Viktor & Rolf look on the red carpet I think that this black crystal embellished slip gown with a beaded fringe hem from the Givenchy Fall 2021 RTW collection would be cool. Now I would change the look up ditching that coat it was styled with and then lining the sheer gown with liquid sequins to really elevate the glamour moment of this look. I would go full classic glam with this look styling it with a sleek fingerwave updo, defined eyes, bold matte red lips, a pair of sky high black Jimmy Choo ‘Max 150’ suede peep toe ankle strap sandals, and even more Lorraine Schwartz jewels including emerald cut emerald and white diamond drop earrings, a Colombian emerald 3 stone cocktail ring, and a white diamond and emerald angular cocktail ring to make sure that both of these would be astonishing moments for Doja to rock for her first Grammy’s red carpet. 
Justin & Hailey Beiber will also most likely be celebrating the Grammy’s from home since the singer who is nominated for 4 awards isn’t performing this year. The two are notoriously private as a couple and they don’t often do couples appearances. That being said I would have loved to see the couple work the Grammy’s red carpet together this year if it were a normal red carpet. Now the two have like polar opposite styles with Justin very laid back and Hailey a glamizon, but I feel like I picked looks for the two that speak to their individual style, but would compliment each other perfectly. For Justin I turned to the Celine Spring 2021 Menswear collection and this major black, red, and white color blocked leather bomber with gold detailing pair with two tone light wash loose fit jeans. Now the look was styled without a shirt on the runway, but I would add a white Celine ‘The Dancing Kid” loose fit t-shirt to the look as well as a pair of white and beige Celine ‘Blank’ low lace up toe cap sneakers to really make it a cool moment. Now for Hailey I went for super sexy glam with this black and red strapless Tony Ward Spring 2021 Couture intricately beaded sheer tulle column gown with a thigh high split and a built in bodysuit. It would absolutely be something that Hailey would be drawn to and I think it would compliment that Celine look for Justin perfectly. To complete this look perfectly for Hailey I would style this gown with a sleek bun updo with face framing tendrils, defined eyes, bold red lips, a pair of black patent leather Christian Louboutin ‘Epic Rose 100’ wraparound ankle strap sandals and a silver pin heel, and a selection of deGrisogono jewels including black diamond and ruby ‘Volcano’ drop earrings and a dazzling white diamond and ruby cocktail ring. 
Lady Gaga is currently in Rome filming the new Ridley Scott “House of Gucci” movie so I would say that since she is in the production bubble that we will not be seeing her at the Grammy’s this year. She is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album and I would LOVE to still see her show us a major fashion moment on Instagram celebrating the Grammy Awards. I’ve been wishing to see Gaga wearing this shocking pink velvet draped Schiaparelli Spring 2021 Couture gown which is draped from a headband and I know that she is really the only person who could sell this moment to me. I seriously don’t know who else could wear all this velvet and not get lost, but I know that Gaga would be able to work through this gown and serve up a major moment for me. I would style this gown with the gold glitter Valentino Spring 2021 Couture ankle strap crazy platform pumps, and over a million dollars in Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. jewels including a vintage 18k gold set white diamond, pink rubellite, and turqouise collar necklace from the 1960’s which sold at Christie’s for $905,000, an 18k gold ‘Bow Tie’ cuff bracelet, and a major 18k gold and platinum set ‘Tapestry’ white diamond and rubellite cocktail ring. It would SCREAM major avant garde glamour from head to toe
Wrapping up today is the fabulous Tiffany Haddish who is nominated for Best Comedy Album. I don’t know if we’ll see Tiffany at the Grammy’s yet, but I hope to at least see her show up with a major IG moment if she isn’t headed to the Staples Center. While I’ve gone for very avant garde moments for most of the stars in these wishes I wanted to go for something sleeker and more simplistic for her since she isn’t one of the music nominees. I feel like this black sheath dress from the David Koma Pre-Fall 2021 collection which features short flutter sleeves, plexi crystal circles on a peplum busts and a center split. It is sleek and sexy rock and roll glam and I feel like Tiffany would definitely be able to sell this look to me with ease especially if styled with her shaved head, defined eyes, deep red glossy lips, black Christian Louboutin ‘Spikaqueen 100’ crystal embellished PVC ankle strap pointed toe sandals, and Gismondi 1754 jewels including white diamond ‘Niagara’ waterfall cluster earrings and a white diamond ear cuff in both ears.

Instead of working with a stylist or trying to deal with the limitations of designer samples, the actress is known to buy her outfits right off the rack. For the promo tour for Rocketman Bryce turned to the virtual consignment racks of The Real Real to plan all of her outfits. So when I saw her name on a list of presenters for Sunday’s show I immediately turned to the virtual consignor again. I found this 
Kristen Wiig hasn’t made a lot of red carpet appearances in the last couple of years, but when she has they have been MOMENTS. So when I saw her name on a list of presenters alongside her Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar co-star I knew I wanted a major moment from her again. This black sequined long sleeve column gown from the Prabal Gurung Fall 2021 RTW collection which features a jewel neckline, strong shoulders, crystal bow details, and a thigh high split is one of the few looks from this collection that I really love and I feel like Kristen would definitely make it come to life beautifully. Sofia Carson will be one of the hosts on the “red carpet” for the network like she did last year and I want to see her bring a DRAMATIC moment to the red carpet. She is a huge fan of Giambattista Valli so it was a no-brainier for me to turn to the label once again opting for this black ruffled halter gown with an open back and a-line skirt. It is glamorous, avant garde, and dramatic all rolled together so it checks all of Sofia’s boxes and would be a major red carpet moment especially if styled with a sleek updo, defined eyes, bold glossy red lips, a pair of 
Finishing out today is the gorgeous Tiffany Haddish. Regular readers are going to be SHOCKED that I am picking a look for Tiffany from D***e & G*****a. I don’t easily turn to the label, but I know her stylist isn’t afraid to put his clients in the problematic brand and despite all of those problems I still love this navy, turquoise, and sky blue color blocked pleated gown with a halter neck, defined waist, a-line, and flowing train from the brands Fall 2019 Alta Moda Couture collection. So when I was looking for the perfect gown for Tiffany and I saw this gown in my archives I knew it would be a perfect fit. She loves a great color moment and I feel like this is here for Tiffany’s major fashion choices as of late. I would style this gown with her shaved head, thick defined eyes, glossy nude lips, a pair of 
I want Billie Eilish to bring some fashion to the red carpet. I want to see her get away from Gucci, Chanel, and Burberry and expand her designer dossier. When I was looking at the Marques’Almeida Spring 2021 RTW collection I found myself saying that there were some really good moments I wanted to see Billie wear, and my Fashion Forward Friends podcast co-host Kelly agreed. So when I was thinking of a cool look for Billie to wear on this red carpet I turned to this army green tonal patchwork oversized double breasted suit. It fits her oversized aesthetic, but does so in a way we haven’t seen from Billie in a while. Now while I think it would be cool for her to wear this look sans top like it was presented on the runway that isn’t really that on brand for her. So I would like to see a custom army green sequined sweatshirt made to compliment this look. Doja Cat has been making the the awards show rounds this fall. I honestly had no idea who she was, but the girl is serving looks. At the VMA’s she rocked 
Joey King is one of my favorite young red carpet fashion girls. She loves to serve a look. So I am hoping that her Choice Comedy Movie Star of 2020 award nomination for The Kissing Booth 2 will take her to this years People’s Choice Awards. If she does I would love to see her rocking this gold, fuchsia, and black metallic chevron chiffon Ralph & Russo Spring 2021 RTW mini dress which features a slim fit, mutton sleeves, open-back, tie-accented waist, and a faux wrap style skirt. I thought of this look almost immediately. I did do a little more looking, but ultimately I decided that this was the perfect look for Joey to rock on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards. It is fun, bold, and feminine which are all the boxes that Joey likes to check when picking her red carpet looks. Sofia Carson knows how to bring the drama to the red carpet. The actress, singer, dancer loves volume and drama. She is known for wearing Giambattista Valli on the red carpet and when I saw that she was going to be one of the presenters at the 2020 People’s Choice Awards I immediately thought of this sherbet peach strapless asymmetric tulle ruffled cocktail dress which features black ribbon detail on the neckline and a boned corseted bodice from the Giambattista Valli Spring 2021 RTW collection. It is such a Sofia dress. It delivers some major Valli drama, while still being the right glam for this red carpet. Tiffany Haddish is also going to be presenting at the People’s Choice Awards tomorrow night. I go back and forth on whether or not I really like Tiffany’s style. During quarantine she shaved her head and I am really interested in seeing what her style will be. I thought that this lemon yellow and white one shoulder Christian Siriano Spring 2021 RTW pencil dress would be super chic. It is simple and classic in its silhouette and construction, but I feel that is perfect for Tiffany. Awkwafina was an unexpected style star that I started to love over the course of the promo tours for Crazy Rich Asians and Oceans 8 last year. She loves to have fun with fashion and I definitely decided to go for a really majorly edgy moment for her to deliver on this red carpet. This black Burberry Fall 2019 RTW ensemble which features a button embellished smock dress which features chain straps, cold shoulders, and long sleeves, a pair of black tights, and a pair of black and white flat ankle boots with crystal fringe is definitely an edgy grunge punk look for Awkwafina to bring to life on this red carpet. It isn’t the typical red carpet look that I would pick for a major movie premiere, but I definitely think that it is perfect for Awkwafina to bring to life on the red carpet. Dove Cameron is one I am definitely intrigued to see take to this red carpet. She was supposed to have a big July headed into August, but the premiere for her Disney Channel movie Descendants 3 was cancelled following the untimely death of co-star Cameron Boyce. I don’t know how his death had affected Dove or if she will be in a good state to even want to make an appearance on this red carpet. I do want to see her on this red carpet because I definitely believe that Dove is one to watch on the red carpet and I feel like she could bring a fun moment to this red carpet. I went with a chic little white dress with this Cong Tri thin strap mini dress which features a ruched hemp with a large bow. It is definitely more of a risky look. Bows can be almost any time they are utilized and I feel like the placement is not the easiest to make work off a runway. That being said I believe that Dove is a perfect person to wear it as she oozes effortless edgy glamour and if she styled it with a sleek center parted hairstyle, defined eyes, red lips, red nails, a pair of 
Now one I am really interested in seeing on this red carpet is Nicki Minaj. I am wondering in what direction the rapper will bring for the red carpet for this premiere. I go back and forth with my feelings on Nicki’s style. She goes through spurts where I love what she is wearing and then spurts where I hate what she is wearing. I have to say that she has been on a bit of a hate run lately, and I want to see her show up on this red carpet in something that I love. I believe that Nicki would look amazing wearing this florescent orange Christian Cowan Fall 2019 RTW short sleeve sporty crystal embellished dress which features a high crew neck and a side split. It is a bit of a more casual look, but I think with the right styling I feel like it could work. Brie Larson just kicked off the Captain Marvel promo tour earlier this week. She looked AMAZING wearing a waxed silk draped custom Oscar de la Renta bustier and fitted cigarette pants. I put Brie on my list of Ones To Watch in 2019 list in my End of the Year Style Awards last year. She is going to have a major year I can just feel it. I had a feeling that Brie, as a former Best Actress winner herself and being in the midst of a major blockbuster movie promo tour, was going to be announced as a presenter at this years ceremony and so when she was announced I was extremely excited. Brie loves to have fun with fashion and can experiment with brands so I decided to take a step out of that normal box that we typically see from her picking this black fully sequined Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2019 RTW sleeveless column gown which features strong shoulders, a gold sequin floral pattern, a plunging squared neckline, and silk hip peplum. I saw this gown and Brie immediately popped into my mind. The only thing I’m not so sure about are the hip padding. Gemma Chan might not be announced as a presenter at this years Oscars. I am hoping that after Crazy Rich Asians awards season has ended that we will still see her on one of the Oscar night red carpets. I adore her very feminine glamour on the red carpet and for the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party I would love to see her bring this cornflower blue Ralph & Russo Spring 2019 Couture silk chiffon gown which features a plunging draped neckline and fluid cape sleeves embellished with sequin floral embroidery to life. It is that soft feminine elegance that we are used to seeing from Gemma on the red carpet and I definitely think she could sell it to me on the red carpet. My only hesitation comes as I write this being that the flowing style could be similar to the major mint Ralph & Russo Couture gown worn by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on this red carpet last year, but I don’t think that the two gowns could really be compared. Katy Perry is expected to be on the red carpets of Oscar night. She is one of the co-hosts of the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party and I definitely hope that she brings the glamour to the red carpet. For that red carpet I decided to go to a newer designer that Katy has worn a small handful of times, mostly as costumes for her Witness Tour, that just made his New York Fashion Week runway debut: Cong Tri. The Vietnamese designer knows how to do drama, camp, and glamour which are basically all the boxes that you need to check to be able to dress Katy Perry. So for the red carpet at the Elton John party I would love to see Katy show us one of the designers more glamorous looks with this black, blush, and iridescent sequined Cong Tri Fall 2019 RTW strapless column gown which features a dramatic silk bow neckline/sleeve/train. I actually learned about Cong Tri when I saw that Hollywood power stylist Kate Young was styling the show. While she doesn’t style Katy obviously the brands is definitely on Katy’s radar and this super glam moment is perfect for the Elton John red carpet especially if it is paired with a sleek side parted pixie, smokey eyes, soft pink lips, a pair of 
I can almost expect that Black Panther star and former Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o will be out to support her film on the red carpet next weekend. I’m honestly surprised that she hasn’t been announced yet. I am still thinking about what I want to see from her on Oscar night despite that fact. I will probably do something dramatic yet glamorous for the main ceremony. For the Vanity Fair Party afterwards I went for something a lot more fun with this pink and periwinkle Duro Olowu Spring 2019 RTW bias cut gown which features a fringe trimmed cowl back. I knew I wanted to see Lupita wear a black designer on this red carpet and I went round and round to find the perfect gown for her to wear on this red carpet and when I saw this one it really clicked. Duro Olowu is more of an obscure label based out of London. He is known for is intricate prints this gown is a perfect example of his work. It is femininity and glamour defined and I know that Lupita would make it come to life beautifully. I would love to see Lupita wear this gown with a pair of custom dyed to match pink 
Tiffany Haddish is expected to attend Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios Oscar Gala next Sunday. I won’t lie to you the first time I heard about this event was last year when Katy Perry showed up on the red carpet wearing a gorgeous Atelier Versace gown on the red carpet. I want to see Tiffany bring some chic glamour to this red carpet wearing this black Alexander Wang Fall 2019 RTW long sleeve tuxedo jacket gown. I love a good Alexander Wang moment on the red carpet and I definitely think that Tiffany has what it takes to really make a gown like this work. She would definitely have some Rihanna vibes wearing this gown. I would finish it with a
Beyonce is a long established Grammy’s icon and I am interested in seeing what she will wear this year. She hasn’t actually walked a red carpet in a really long time instead opting to post her own photos on Beyonce.com and then sneaking in a side door. I have heard rumors that Bey is not actually going to be in attendance this year despite three nominations this year. I would love to see Beyonce bring the sexy Studio 54 glamour to this red carpet (or just the front row of the show) wearing this white Zuhair Murad Spring 2019 Couture suit which features asymmetrical draping, a belted peplum waist, plunging v-neckline, a single cape sleeve, and a thigh high split up one pant leg. It was just about a year ago when I first learned who Dua Lipa was when she WOWED me on the red carpet at the 
John Legend knows how to deliver a really chic menswear moment on the red carpet. Sometimes he goes very classic, but sometimes he pushes the boundaries. I love this burgundy velvet Etro Fall 2019 Menswear detailed with gold embroideries and satin peak lapels. It is such a statement piece that I can definitely picture John being drawn to. I would however keep the styling a little more classic adding a pair of burgundy satin tuxedo pants, a white tuxedo shirt, a matching burgundy bow tie, and a pair of black patent leather oxfords for John. That would make this a real statement menswear moment for him to bring to life on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night. 
Kelsea Ballerini has been bringing the fashion to the country music awards red carpets. Usually when I look at red carpet looks for country music stars I look at the Lebanese couturiers, like Elie Saab, Georges Chakra, and Zuhair Murad, but Kelsea has been delivering looks from more than just the standard level of ‘country music designers.’ I was looking for something for Kelsea to wear on this red carpet and the moment I saw this eggshell feathered caped top and florescent orange high waisted wide leg pants from Valentino’s Spring 2019 Couture collection I thought it would be a really inspired option for Kelsea to bring to life on this red carpet. It is more of an avant garde look than Kelsea has ever worn before, but I honestly believe that she does have what it takes to really make this look come to life on the red carpet. The look itself is such a statement I would keep the styling rather simple adding a pair of 
Pink kicked off her Grammy week picking up the honor of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Sadly I think that is the only honor she will be picking up this week. That is a travesty because her album Beautiful Trauma was a truly emotional album for me. I have long waited for Pink to really wow me. She defintiely did that giving me feathered realness in Armani Prive at last years Grammy Awards, but it just didn’t seem like her. I was looking for the right gown for her to wear this weekend at the Grammy’s when I saw this black and white pieced tuxedo gown from Thom Browne’s Fall 2019 Menswear collection. I would never really think of menswear collections as the perfect place to find a gown for a major red carpet, but this gown is PERFECT for Pink. It meshes masculinity and femininity which is totally Pink’s style and it would be perfectly complimented with an edgy coif, defined eyes, red lips, a pair of 
Tiffany Haddish earned her Grammy nomination for Best Spoken Word Album for her audiobook The Last Black Unicorn. I love seeing Tiffany on the red carpet and so I am hoping that she will head out to LA to attend the Grammy’s. I thought about a gown for her, but her category is typically not announced during the main telecast and most actresses that attend that Grammy Awards do so wearing a cocktail dress. Tiffany Haddish skipped attending the Creative Arts Emmy Awards this past weekend, where she won Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, instead she was making the rounds at New York Fashion Week with her stylist Law Roach. I am loving what the two have cooked up for the red carpet since they started working together and I would love to see Tiffany jet off to LA for the Emmy Awards on Monday night. Since she would be a guest, and probably get some photos in the press room with her award, I wanted to go glamorous yet edgy so I turned to Brandon Maxwell.
